Chicken was really good! It was a decent amount too! I got 2 scoops of the macaroni salad and it was good but I think it has crab in it. It tasted a little fishy to me. I didn't realize it had that in it and I don't like fish so that's my fault. I ordered online and took it to go. The order was really on time and the staff were nice.

Food: Really solid Hawaiian food. Devoured the chicken katsu. So crispy, juicy, and perfect with that katsu sauce! Mac salad hit me with Cali nostalgia in the best way possible. Service/Ambiance: Super friendly crew, chill vibes, and colorful island decor. Feels like a little slice of Hawaii right here in Indy. Mahalo, Aloha BBQ! Catch you next time braddah!

Great place to get Hawaiian food in Fishers! They have a large menu with classic Hawaiian entrees to choose from. You can sit inside, but many people were taking out food. If you sit inside, there's plenty of seating and free ponzu and teriyaki sauce available. They have several canned Hawaiian drinks for purchase as well. Highly recommend the short ribs and Hawaiian plate! There's also a free parking lot right in front of the restaurant.

Really great good! We felt that the prices were fair for how much you get too. The service was quick and the food was very fresh. Crab Rangoon's are good, but a little runny. Will definitely come back for lunch again sometime

Solid flavors and big portions! I've tried the Hawaiian BBQ Mix plate and BBQ & Katsu Mix plate. Both were good and the amount of protein you get is plenty. The macaroni salad isn't what I'm used to, could've been sweeter. And I wish the rice scoops were bigger, I'm asian rice is life. This place has become a dependable and delicious regular spot.

I drive by this place often and have been very curious about it. Finally decided to give it a try tonight. This place had a very large selection. I should have spent more time looking at all the choices, but I was hungry so I went with the first thing that sounded good. The Hawaiian BBQ chicken. It came with two scoops of white rice, macaroni salad and some vegetables. The chicken was very tender. I am not the biggest meat eater, so I definitely needed to use sauce. Both of the sauces they have available were delicious. The thing I was probably the most excited about was the macaroni salad. The food overall was good and seemed to be a good deal for the price. I would probably try something else from their extensive menu next time.

I love Hawaiian bbq, so I was excited to see Aloha open in Fishers. The shop is cute, in a little strip mall decorated in palm trees with a tropical vibe. You can order online, at a kiosk or at the counter. Meals come with Mac salad (my favorite), rice and steamed veggies. I got the Crispy Shrimp meal. Food came out fairly quickly. The shrimp were piled high and were large with a crispy breading. The veggies were a mix of steamed broccoli and cabbage. They have sauces that you can add including teriyaki. The Mac salad was just ok, not as tangy and sweet as I remember in Hawaii. Then there were two scoops of white rice. The clerks are friendly and efficient. The dining room is clean with about a dozen tables. The place filled up quickly over lunch. I've heard the spare ribs are delicious, so I'll try those next visit. They offer smaller portions lunch size that I discovered after I ordered a full meal. There's plenty of parking including a couple handicapped accessible spaces right outside the door.

Coconut shrimp was super good. The shrimp are big and battered in tempura. Sweet coconut sauce and crunchy bits on top.

Finally found a great hawaiian food place. We have eaten here 5 or 6 times now. Highly recommend trying the coconut shrimp and the katsu is very good too. The BBQ mix plate is great as well. Macaroni Salad is bang on and the portions are great for the price.

As you can see it says under features Dogs Allowed. Not really the case
    Charles C.

Yelp says this place allows dogs but we drove there and the young lady politely told us no pets. Kind of a bummer as I was hoping to get some food that reminded me of home. Hopefully we will try this one day when we don't have our dogs with us.

I am so excited to see a new Hawaiian BBQ spot in Indy. Aloha Hawaiian BBQ is located in a strip on allisonville road. When you enter you see two kiosk for ordering. You can choose to dine in or carry out. I opted to dine in. That have a decent amount of seating and I was starving. They have a large menu with your traditional Hawaiian BBQ options are well as traditional Asian dishes to choose from. I decided to start with the spam musubi. The spam wasn't as grilled as I would've preferred. I love then the spam is a little charred these were under grilled in my opinion. For my entree I went with the Aloha pick two, BBQ beef and the Island Fire Chicken and I upgraded my rice to fried. The meats were delicious but the island fire chicken stole the show. It was so good and just the right amount of spice. The beef was thin and flavorful. I think next time I'll go with white face to avoid the up charge as I didn't notice any flavor in the rice. It was also served with a salad that I believe is tossed in a ginger dressing very good. Overall service was fast the restaurant is clean and the food is delicious. I can't wait to come back. They have family meal options which are so convenient so be sure to check those out.

I really do love this hidden gem in Fishers off of Allisonville. When you walk in you order your food at a kiosk, super easy. The wait time for our food was super quick & the customer service was so helpful & courteous. The ambiance is nothing fancy but very chill. A great spot for lunch! I feel like the portions are perfect & the taste of the food was great. I'm so glad I found this place. I'll be back!!!

Ordering was a breeze and no lines

Overall experience was top notch! Customer service was a 10. The guy at the first was patient and very helpful when I was ordering. The inside look modern and fun. Wish they had a tv out front but that's not a bad thing. I really like this place!

I wanted to give this place a five star because it's hard to find Hawaian food outside of Hawaii. We traveled from northeast Indiana to give this place a try at lunchtime. When you enter the restaurant you can order from the iPad or order from the cashier. We thought it would be easier to order from the iPad. I went with the barbecue plate which pretty much had everything. When I went to check out, the tip screen came up and my goal was not to give a tip because it was a counter service where you get your own food and bus your own trays. On the screen for tips there's no option for zero unless you press other tip so I went ahead and didn't press anything and press continue. I was surprised to be slapped with a 9% default tip. I feel that this is the restaurant up charging people without them realizing it because the tip screen at default should be zero. This is the main reason why I subtracted from the star rating. It just is a very shady way of doing business. The food took a little to prepare for our party of six. We did find that the food was tasty and large generous portions. We did drink a lot of water afterwards so maybe there was a lot of sodium or MSG flavoring in the food. If the owner is reading this, you really should change your practice on the iPad. There should not be a 9% service fee/tip because there is no service basically being rendered except for the food being cooked.

By the way and more importantly, Moira greeted us right away and did everything to make us comfortable including allowing us to move to the patio. It's great out here and they've done a good job trying to hide the traffic on 116th. Here are my impressions: Seating, very comfortable and much nicer than I thought. Ambiance, higher end than I thought after seeing photos Wine, the Sancerre was light, not too sweet, and delicious, nice finish. Seaweed salad, delicious! Delmonte roll, Toro (tuna belly!) absolutely wonderful and I enjoyed it to the last bite. Lobster roll, lots of lobster in a light dressing of kimchi mayo on top of the veggie roll. Presentation, all of the dishes came out looking very appetizing. Dessert, Lemon Possette, is fabulous! Custard like but creamier/looser towards the bottom with jam and fresh tanneries on top. It's difficult to stop eating! Chris, the owner, took the time to stop at our table and have a lovely conversation with us and we're so glad he created this touch of Monterey (CA) here in central Indiana. This restaurant is a definite thumbs up!

It was cool knowing…read morethat some part of the museum is free to the public, so it was nice to walk around after a light meal. This Japanese Pop Up ends on September 1st, 2019, so try it while it's there! The portion of the ramen is very small for $12 a bowl even though I ordered a large; it took 3 bites for me to finish the entire bowl. The broth was clear and refreshing, but it would be nice to have a little more flavor or salty to bring out the taste more. In the ramen had a slice of pork belly, egg, one small piece of seaweed and radish. It's nice that this museum has different pop ups every month that also brings the culture's food for people to try, but wouldn't go here just for food.

I have to be honest and say that the third "Pop Up" at the IMA was a little disappointing compared…read moreto the first two. Though I still like the idea of celebrating the cooking arts and their connection to specific cultures/countries around the world, I felt this one was a step down from commitment that the first two pop ups had. If you read the promotional information on the Newfield's website, it describes a "diner" and seems to promote a certain connection to "americana". But because of the open spacing and surrounding environment, there is none of the intimacy of a diner here. No aromas of fresh baked pies. There wasn't the commitment to the aesthetic as in the earlier pop ups. And frankly, the American Apple Pie wasn't my favorite. Too much spice (I smelled the nutmeg before taking a bite) and not enough sweetness to make me reminisce of days gone by. Fortunately, the scoop of vanilla ice cream added just enough sweetness to balance out the savory. And the bottomless cup of coffee was really good: full flavor, no bitterness, and served ready to drink. They also have other sweet pies, three savory pies, some gluten free and vegan options, and milk shakes (with and without booze). Understand before you go here that this is a fund raising event for the museum. So don't complain about prices because this isn't a regular business. The prices are clearly listed, so if you think it cost too much, that's your own fault for not preparing. Know that you have to pay for admission to the museum to be able to dine at the pop up as well. But once you pay, you can explore all the exhibits before or after dining here (including the outdoor gardens.) This pop up will be open through May 24th, 2020. Rev. #52
