I've been to 3UP Bar many times and always love it. it's consistently a fun experience. The drinks are always great, and the vibe never disappoints. It's especially cute in the winter when they decorate everything extra cozy and festive. It seriously transforms the space and makes it such a fun place to hang during colder months. I'd highly recommend it for a cute girls' night or a cozy date night. It's also a perfect spot to grab drinks before or after dinner. One of my favorite go-to bars in the city!

First time going to 3up rooftop and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was, the views and friendly waitstaff. I arrived at 7pm on a Friday and had no trouble immediately finding a spot outside. We were given a menu and regularly checked on throughout the night. Unfortunately I didn't have the biggest appetite so I only ordered apps but my friend had the steak tacos and said they were delicious. The salad and Brussel sprouts were very standard but I'd say this is a great sports for a girls night like we had, date night or pre game/ birthday!

Great fun on the rooftop. Nice fireplaces, great atmosphere. Excellent seating. It does get busy and it does get very loud. If you can snag a seat in one of the coves, grab it. It helps a lot with the noise. The food I had was flatbread and fries. They were good. My wife had a veggie board, but it was gone when I got there. She said it was good.

I've been here a few times and it's always a good experience. This time was particularly great bc we had such a wonderful and attentive bartender, who was friendly without being overbearing. Our rosé and espresso martinis were both good. The ambiance was nice, with it feeling lively, but not too loud where we couldn't have a conversation.

The atmosphere is great! When I last went they still had the inside decorated with winter garland and other decorations. Super cute! It's not the biggest space. Then outdoor area is great! But the heaters are mainly under the patio. And the fireplaces are quickly taken. I do with they have a few standing tables and more portable heaters. We got a table inside though! Our server was amazing! I don't remember her name, but she was fantastic! I split a flatbread with a friend and it was super good! The fries are so so. They're a lot like the ones at Steak 'n Shake. I love those! Just not for the price here. Apparently they're known for their espresso martini. I tried it. Not the best I've had. But not the worst. Other drinks are better. Not my favorite place to go to, but we had great service, and the aesthetic is great!

Had a fun friend date at 3UP! Our drinks were beautiful and delicious. The vibe was on point--great music, lively crowd, nice view, and an awesome greenery wall that's perfect for pics.

The 3UP Rooftop Lounge is a very cool place for drinks, food, conversation, and music. Service was a "little" on the slow side, but I think that's because this is one of those places that requires one server to cover about 100 tables. That's a slight exaggeration, but you get the idea. I guess that's the world we live in now, in the post-Covid reality. The food was surprisingly good, and the drinks were also above-average. The two tips I can offer are as follows: a) After several drinks and a few appetizers, you may find yourself several hundred dollars lighter. It's a little pricey here. That's because of the premium that all Carmel Monon-area restaurants charge; you're paying handsomely for the privilege of occupying this ultra-premium space for an hour or two. So, be mentally prepared for $16-$20 cocktails, being that that is what they have here. b) After many, many, many failed attempts to find a table here during the past year, apparently the secret to not getting shut-out is to arrive between 5-6pm. If you show up at 9pm with an entourage, expecting to sit down at a table, that's probably not going to happen. This space is simply too popular and too small for that.

The food is amazing, pricey yet worth it, the staff have always been attentive and fun, and the atmosphere nice, upbeat, and lounge area.

Very cool location but expensive. The menu is seasonal and there weren't a lot of options when I went. Valet parking is available for $10.

My husband and I are always wishing we had more rooftop bars like Nashville -- so you can imagine our excitement when we found out we had one in Carmel! This made for a perfect spot for my Bachelorette Party to take a break and enjoy some beverages for the afternoon. It was great atmosphere and great service. And the Espresso Martini was the BEST I've ever had!

Limited bar menu. Fun drinks. My lemon drop wasn't strong but was still tasty. Our server was fun and checked on us regularly without being overbearing. The vibe was really nice. It was clean. Everyone was friendly. We heard live music over the balcony, so we headed out to explore. I had no idea that Carmel was a vibe on Thursdays.

3UP was a really fun pre-dinner drink place! The severs were very very responsive and kind. There is a cute and large outdoor area as well as an indoor area. The vibe outside (as you can see in the pictures) is extremely cute and photo worthy! Definitely will be going back!

Came here to pregame for my friend's birthday. Loved loved loved the rooftop vibes. Great scenery to take pictures. The service and server was very attentive and accommodating. We did not try the food but will definitely be back. We were able to find parking on the street but there is also $10 valet parking.

Our server, Justin, was attentive and helpful throughout the evening. My partner asked for wine pairing recommendations, and Justin suggested a Pinot Noir that paired well with the meal. I ordered the Lemon Drop Cocktail, which was refreshing and enjoyable. The food was excellent. I ordered the Steak Frites, and my partner ordered the Duck A L'Orange. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the duck breast was tender and flavorful. We also shared the lavender and wild berry cheesecake for dessert. It was a unique offering--the flavors were interesting, although it wasn't my personal favorite. My partner, however, enjoyed it quite a bit. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful and elegant. My only complaint was the temperature inside the dining room. We dined indoors on a Saturday evening in mid-July when it was around 90 degrees outside, and the restaurant felt unusually warm and stuffy. I suspect there may have been an issue with the HVAC system, as there seemed to be very little air circulation. My partner was sweating throughout dinner. I'm usually someone who gets cold easily at restaurants and often brings a cardigan, so the fact that I found the temperature uncomfortable was surprising. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant and would happily return, assuming the HVAC issue has been resolved.

We went for a 3:00 show on a Sunday such that by the time we got out, it was 6:00-still early. It was in the 30's outside and already dark (thanks DLS time). Yet as we reached the top of the stairs to the lobby I was immediately disappointed that there was no fire lit in the fireplace. There were only three parties in the place. One was around the corner in the adjoining sitting area and may or may not have been drinking. There were two couples at the bar, where we considered also sitting. But the only empty spot for two had two dirty drink glasses from a previous patron still sitting. So we opted for the leather couch and chair in the main area just across from the bar. And that's where we waited, and waited, for almost 30 minutes, before giving up on getting served (or acknowledged). There was only one bartender, so we were fine with going up to order but communication would have been helpful. We stood at the bar while she chatted with the two couples, who'd all been served. We couldn't really figure out what she was doing as she seemed busy-ish yet wasn't serving, or clearing, or washing, and we were chatting between ourselves and didn't really give it much thought. Then she said she was out of something and was leaving the bar to go fetch it. We asked her to let us know when she was ready to serve us, and we took our seats to resume our conversation. The bartender returned after a while, and she served one of the original couples ... for another 10 minutes at least. Again we were talking so, while an irritation, it was in the background. About 50 minutes into our visit, she came over and took our drink order. This was my third or fourth visit, and I'd ordered my drink, an old fashioned, before and knew what to expect: bourbon of choice, Luxardo cherry, and a dehydrated orange slice. Ten minutes later we got our drinks. Now mind you, my friend ordered a glass of wine. Nothing time consuming about that. She noted that her pour was smaller than the other times she'd been there. Mine came with the whisky cube already on its way to melted, a broken (a.k.a. piece of) cherry and a twist. What? Where's my glorious little crunchy orange wheel of goodness? I had spied them on the bar earlier. No soup for me! Also, and I can't be sure 100% sure of this, but I tasted neither bitters nor syrup. Was this really just a bourbon rocks? It took a minute but we realized this gal cannot tend and talk at the same time. My friend commented that she had no idea what will happen when the place gets busy, as it has been every other time I've been there. We left after 8:00, after one drink, and for me, $21 lighter. Yeah, it's pricey. And the Carmichael crowd is a discriminating one. So we expected better. Much, much better.

Just kinda bland with not much going for so it, other than being cream cheesey. Unfortunately the chicharrones did not really add much to the experience. My boneless wings were also the same... Fine. Not one smile. Very limited interaction. And overall, extremely poor customer service. I would not recommend! Cherry on top: when you pay, they have the unmitigated gall to have the tip increments go from 22-30%. Not a one person who "served" us worked to deserve a tip of that magnitude. He's a semifinalist for the Best Chef: Great Lakes (IL, IN, MI, OH) category. What an honor! I'm curious to see if he gets the medal, but even if not, hopefully this recognition will draw people to visit Lone Pine, because people really need to visit. I don't know how Lone Pine would describe its menu, but I would call it elevated comfort food. One of the things my table ordered was chicken piccata. When was the last time you saw chicken piccata on a menu?! It was delicious, and served with mashed potatoes and lettuce leaves that added a nice, fresh crunch to each bite. We also got the roasted salmon, which was served with fingerling potatoes in a pesto sauce, with arugula on the side. This, too, was delicious and rich, yet fresh. I ordered the short ribs, which came with polenta and caramelized pearl onions. The short ribs were just fatty enough, and the sauce that they were surrounded by was unctuous and wonderful to eat with the polenta. I guess I should have started this review by writing about our first course! We got the French onion soup, bloody Mary wedge salad and the Caesar salad. The Caesar salad at Lone Pine is probably the best Caesar salad that I've eaten in Carmel, and maybe in all of the Indianapolis area. The thing that Lone Pine does differently and spectacularly is that they use breadcrumbs and not croutons. That makes all the difference! Granted, it does look a bit like a pile of pencil shavings on a plate, but sometimes the dowdiest foods are the best-tasting foods. The result is a satisfyingly salty, crunchy, creamy, crispy salad that I couldn't stop eating. I know I will be back to Lone Pine for the Caesar salad. We ended our meal by sharing two desserts: the apple pie panna cotta and the Lone Pine chocolate cake. Both desserts were amazing, but the cake won us all over because it looked deceptively heavy, but it was light and airy, and came with slightly sweet whipped cream. The service at Lone Pine is exceptional. They pay attention to detail here, and all of the little things are taken care of. Our server gave us just enough time between courses. Our water was refilled unobtrusively. We didn't get asked whether we've dined there before (because who cares?) and the menu wasn't over-explained (thank goodness, because I can indeed read). One thing we also noticed that we appreciated: The music was just loud enough to hear it, but not loud enough to notice it too much! It's these little things that come together to make a great dining experience.
