I've been to 3UP Bar many times and always love it. it's consistently a fun experience. The drinks are always great, and the vibe never disappoints. It's especially cute in the winter when they decorate everything extra cozy and festive. It seriously transforms the space and makes it such a fun place to hang during colder months. I'd highly recommend it for a cute girls' night or a cozy date night. It's also a perfect spot to grab drinks before or after dinner. One of my favorite go-to bars in the city!

First time going to 3up rooftop and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was, the views and friendly waitstaff. I arrived at 7pm on a Friday and had no trouble immediately finding a spot outside. We were given a menu and regularly checked on throughout the night. Unfortunately I didn't have the biggest appetite so I only ordered apps but my friend had the steak tacos and said they were delicious. The salad and Brussel sprouts were very standard but I'd say this is a great sports for a girls night like we had, date night or pre game/ birthday!

Great fun on the rooftop. Nice fireplaces, great atmosphere. Excellent seating. It does get busy and it does get very loud. If you can snag a seat in one of the coves, grab it. It helps a lot with the noise. The food I had was flatbread and fries. They were good. My wife had a veggie board, but it was gone when I got there. She said it was good.

I've been here a few times and it's always a good experience. This time was particularly great bc we had such a wonderful and attentive bartender, who was friendly without being overbearing. Our rosé and espresso martinis were both good. The ambiance was nice, with it feeling lively, but not too loud where we couldn't have a conversation.

The atmosphere is great! When I last went they still had the inside decorated with winter garland and other decorations. Super cute! It's not the biggest space. Then outdoor area is great! But the heaters are mainly under the patio. And the fireplaces are quickly taken. I do with they have a few standing tables and more portable heaters. We got a table inside though! Our server was amazing! I don't remember her name, but she was fantastic! I split a flatbread with a friend and it was super good! The fries are so so. They're a lot like the ones at Steak 'n Shake. I love those! Just not for the price here. Apparently they're known for their espresso martini. I tried it. Not the best I've had. But not the worst. Other drinks are better. Not my favorite place to go to, but we had great service, and the aesthetic is great!

Had a fun friend date at 3UP! Our drinks were beautiful and delicious. The vibe was on point--great music, lively crowd, nice view, and an awesome greenery wall that's perfect for pics.

The food is amazing, pricey yet worth it, the staff have always been attentive and fun, and the atmosphere nice, upbeat, and lounge area.

Very cool location but expensive. The menu is seasonal and there weren't a lot of options when I went. Valet parking is available for $10.

The 3UP Rooftop Lounge is a very cool place for drinks, food, conversation, and music. Service was a "little" on the slow side, but I think that's because this is one of those places that requires one server to cover about 100 tables. That's a slight exaggeration, but you get the idea. I guess that's the world we live in now, in the post-Covid reality. The food was surprisingly good, and the drinks were also above-average. The two tips I can offer are as follows: a) After several drinks and a few appetizers, you may find yourself several hundred dollars lighter. It's a little pricey here. That's because of the premium that all Carmel Monon-area restaurants charge; you're paying handsomely for the privilege of occupying this ultra-premium space for an hour or two. So, be mentally prepared for $16-$20 cocktails, being that that is what they have here. b) After many, many, many failed attempts to find a table here during the past year, apparently the secret to not getting shut-out is to arrive between 5-6pm. If you show up at 9pm with an entourage, expecting to sit down at a table, that's probably not going to happen. This space is simply too popular and too small for that.

My husband and I are always wishing we had more rooftop bars like Nashville -- so you can imagine our excitement when we found out we had one in Carmel! This made for a perfect spot for my Bachelorette Party to take a break and enjoy some beverages for the afternoon. It was great atmosphere and great service. And the Espresso Martini was the BEST I've ever had!

Limited bar menu. Fun drinks. My lemon drop wasn't strong but was still tasty. Our server was fun and checked on us regularly without being overbearing. The vibe was really nice. It was clean. Everyone was friendly. We heard live music over the balcony, so we headed out to explore. I had no idea that Carmel was a vibe on Thursdays.

3UP was a really fun pre-dinner drink place! The severs were very very responsive and kind. There is a cute and large outdoor area as well as an indoor area. The vibe outside (as you can see in the pictures) is extremely cute and photo worthy! Definitely will be going back!

Came here to pregame for my friend's birthday. Loved loved loved the rooftop vibes. Great scenery to take pictures. The service and server was very attentive and accommodating. We did not try the food but will definitely be back. We were able to find parking on the street but there is also $10 valet parking.

We were graciously greeted by two pleasant hosts and shown to our table after a short wait. As soon as we were seated, I was given a birthday card and well wishes. Shortly after, our waiter, Eric, came by to introduce himself. He wished me a happy birthday, told me to save room for dessert because it was on him and then proceeded to tell us about the history of the restaurant, the food they specialize in, the night specials, and his recommendations before taking our drink order. Eric really made the night special for me with his professionalism and obvious pride in the restaurant. He is truly top notch and we will ask to be seated in his section when we return and I highly recommend him if you desire great service. Now the food... Eric recommended the Oyster Rockefeller and Calamari for starters. They were both delicious! For entrees, I had the prime strip steak, fries, and Caesar salad. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium and seasoned just right. The sides were good as well. My husband had the ribeye, mashed potatoes, navy bean soup, and wedge salad. His steak was cooked to perfection and he absolutely loved his chosen sides. My daughter had the king crab sushi roll, which she rated a 7/10. Now, on to dessert. Eric told us his favorite is the key lime pie. I love a good key lime pie so I ordered it. In fact, I always order key lime pie if it's on the menu where ever we dine. Of all the pies I've had in recent years, it was the truly the best with perfectly balanced key lime with a brûlée-d top. My daughter had the coconut cream pie and my husband had the bread pudding. We all agreed the desserts were scrumptious. We had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant has a great vibe, service was brisk without a single thing being overlooked. I really had a great birthday dinner! Thank you!

We started with a bottle of wine and were served complimentary bread, which was a nice touch. For appetizers, we ordered the crab cakes, and they were outstanding--full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The Caesar salad and French onion soup were both very good as well. For our entrées, we ordered steaks, and each one was cooked exactly as requested. Everything was prepared well and served hot. Since we were celebrating a birthday, the restaurant treated us to a complimentary chocolate raspberry dessert, which was delicious and a wonderful way to end the meal. To finish the evening, we enjoyed a chocolate martini, and it was absolutely yummy--rich, smooth, and the perfect dessert cocktail. Overall, we had a very pleasant dining experience. In…read moreshort: The food is dope, the service is attentive, the restaurant is classy but approachable. But mostly it's for Aaron Hansen, the chef at Lone Pine. He's a semifinalist for the Best Chef: Great Lakes (IL, IN, MI, OH) category. What an honor! I'm curious to see if he gets the medal, but even if not, hopefully this recognition will draw people to visit Lone Pine, because people really need to visit. I don't know how Lone Pine would describe its menu, but I would call it elevated comfort food. One of the things my table ordered was chicken piccata. When was the last time you saw chicken piccata on a menu?! It was delicious, and served with mashed potatoes and lettuce leaves that added a nice, fresh crunch to each bite. We also got the roasted salmon, which was served with fingerling potatoes in a pesto sauce, with arugula on the side. This, too, was delicious and rich, yet fresh. I ordered the short ribs, which came with polenta and caramelized pearl onions. The short ribs were just fatty enough, and the sauce that they were surrounded by was unctuous and wonderful to eat with the polenta. I guess I should have started this review by writing about our first course! We got the French onion soup, bloody Mary wedge salad and the Caesar salad. The Caesar salad at Lone Pine is probably the best Caesar salad that I've eaten in Carmel, and maybe in all of the Indianapolis area. The thing that Lone Pine does differently and spectacularly is that they use breadcrumbs and not croutons. That makes all the difference! Granted, it does look a bit like a pile of pencil shavings on a plate, but sometimes the dowdiest foods are the best-tasting foods. The result is a satisfyingly salty, crunchy, creamy, crispy salad that I couldn't stop eating. I know I will be back to Lone Pine for the Caesar salad. We ended our meal by sharing two desserts: the apple pie panna cotta and the Lone Pine chocolate cake. Both desserts were amazing, but the cake won us all over because it looked deceptively heavy, but it was light and airy, and came with slightly sweet whipped cream. The service at Lone Pine is exceptional. They pay attention to detail here, and all of the little things are taken care of. Our server gave us just enough time between courses. Our water was refilled unobtrusively. We didn't get asked whether we've dined there before (because who cares?) and the menu wasn't over-explained (thank goodness, because I can indeed read). One thing we also noticed that we appreciated: The music was just loud enough to hear it, but not loud enough to notice it too much! It's these little things that come together to make a great dining experience.

My first experience at the restaurant was decent, so I figured we would give it another shot. I recall my first meal being a bone-in pork chop that was overly salted. I'll make my review brief. The restaurant was not too busy but our service was fairly slow, two separate drink orders that were requested never made it to the table, the environment was noisy/music too loud, etc. I decided to go with something very basic for my food order. My thought was, "I'll see how good they are at doing something simple." I got the black and burger cooked to the chef's preferred temperature (medium). My burger came out dry/crumbly/crispy/well done. Yikes. The server did offer to provide a complimentary drink while he asked the chef to prepare another burger (a nice gesture). However, the second burger came out raw (see photo). I'm a medium rare steak guy but this was inedible. The fries were very good. I'm not typically someone who is overly critical of restaurants but for the amount of money you're paying for these meals, the food and service should be excellent. My two experiences were fair and poor. This is very unfortunate because I've visited the sister restaurants (Beholder and Milktooth) many times and have had nothing but great experiences at both. Probably the last time I'll go.
