This restaurant is very close to where I live and this is our first choice for dinner on every Sunday evening when we are too lazy to cook or to drive. The food is very good with optimum spice levels and "Yellow chicken curry" is my favorite. They even have door delivery service for places within 3 miles of radius. If you are planning on getting there, parking might be a problem and the place is really tiny. The business owners/servers can hardly speak English and mostly we never understand a word they say. So, when I pick up my phone to call them, I simply utter "Yellow curry" and give them my address. read more

I had my doubts because I don't trust my boyfriend's palate. YES, that sounds snobby as hell, but his taste runs from In n Out to Del Taco and back again. He does like Thai food, not really, he just likes fried rice and he knows that saying we're going for Thai shuts me up. He may not have a food palate, but he's not the dull knife in the drawer either. There was NO ONE inside (usually a bad sign) when we walked in, but the staff was friendly, and we seated with water and menus before we could catch a breath. My dude ordered... fried rice and since there were others there were dishes. The food was good. I'd go back. There were quite a few folk coming in to pick up there orders and we were the only ones seated our entire time there. The leftovers were wonderful the next day. I'd go back. The prices are beyond fair for what you get. They are also the only Thai place nearby that I've tried with chicken that doesn't taste off or funky. My favorite Thai food place! Love their chili basil chicken, panang and yellow curries, and their wontons. They are also one of the few places that have mango sticky rice when it's out of season. Their service is always exceptional. Both their delivery and resturant are wonderful. The food is always fresh and delicious. Not to mention, they have the best Thai iced teas. I usually love checking out "hole in the wall" type of places. We came here based on the yelp reviews- and were a bit disappointed. The people working there are really nice, it's a family owned casual little restaurant, and I really really did want to like this place, but just didn't happen. I had a very unsanitary experience. The food in the menu looked great, and we were super excited to order, our waiter- was a young man, which I'm assuming is part of the family, he took down our order and left. While it was being prepared, he was sitting in the corner on his phone, and I kid you not, I saw him pick his nose. I was so so turned off for the rest of the night- not only is your phone dirty, and I doubt he washed his hands, but picking your nose? No dude! I can't believe this place has even gotten a 2 star review! This was a HUGE and I mean a HUGE disappointment. Firstly, No Parking. And on a Friday night, if you want Thai food, don't come here because you won't find any parking. Street parking is nil and apartment dwellers take up all the side street parking. Simply not worth a parking ticket.. Secondly, I asked them for a SPICE Pad See Ew with LOTS of side order of Thai hot sauce. I repeated myself again about the hot sauce request. I was parked in a bad spot so when the food appeared in a tied up bag, I grabbed it and ran. Food smelled good in my car and I couldn't wait to get home and eat the noodles. Got home, however, the Pad See Ew was not spicy. FAIL, They only put one tiny hot sauce in the bag despite me making it abundantly clear when ordering that I wanted lots of hot sauce.. BIGGG FAIL and last fail is their food. No biggie. Standard fair. Nothing special. Dry DRRRRY chicken pieces and flavor challenged dish. Not worth the $8 hard earned bucks. I don't care if they charge me $10 bucks, but give me something that will make me go WOW and for GOD's sakes, if I specifically and repeatedly ask for extra hot sauce, don't be cheap enough to give me a tiny half full container... Place is great. Always consistent. Its a mom and pop restaurant thats small and cozy. Food is great prices are decent. Service is alright for the most part. Great thing is they have free delivery. Since I live in Glendale there are very few Thai places and this one is waaay better than Thai BBQ off of Glendale and Broadway. Its just as good as the restaurants in Thai Town. read more

I was working late tonite and wanted to get something quick so I checked on yelp and found this area place that I hadn't tried. I ordered Mongolian Beef and Thai iced tea with boba. The Thai iced tea was wonderful! Just what I wanted. I'd give it an 8/10 as far as Thai iced tea goes. The Mongolian beef on the other hand was just OK. The sauce was good but the meat was a little too chewy and the vegetables didn't have enough flavor. The rice was good but how bad can white rice be?! I would give this dish a 4/10. Below is my original review of the place. I gave it 5 stars. It was one of the few restaurants I liked in Glendale.....but sadly, they changed owners and everything changed. Their portions became miniscule and they became skimpy with the meat. They used to have this great shrimp tempura appetizer but they got rid of that and replaced it with a shrimp appetizer that tastes awful. I just came home with a cashew chicken lunch with only 3 cashews and 3 little pieces of chicken. I'd rather pay more for a meal than find out the meal they are serving for the same price is half the size with barely any meat in it. Did you think we wouldnt notice? Highly bummed! First review before change in ownership: There aren't many good restaurants in Glendale but this one is one of our favorites. We love the Pad Kee Mow, Panang Curry, Pad Prid King, Shrimp Tempura, and their Tom Kha Kai soup....yummmmmmmm!!! Our dog gets so excited when the guy delivers the food too because he is so friendly to us and our dog. Our favorite delivery dinner but their restaurant is nice too. Had food from this place for the first time.. we ordered the kung pao chicken and ginger chicken with brown rice.. this place has Great food!! We didn't have to ask for chicken breast, both dishes came with perfectly cooked white meat chicken. As an appetizer we had the fried shrimp. It was crunchy and the sauce it comes with was perfect. Our Postmates driver messed up the order badly and Thai Rama recreated the entire order 30 minutes before closing for us. Tasted like unseasoned steamed shrimp and unseasoned green beans. Yellow curry was very sweet and doesn't come with rice. Pad Thai was ok but the beef in it was dry as a bone. 2 days later and I still have alllll the leftovers in my fridge. There has to be better Thai food in Glendale. read more
