Been ordering take out from here for years but for some reason the standard has dipped quite ssubstantially recently. Its reasonably priced and normally good but if you order anything which is supposed to have cheicken in it don't expect to receive much! The orange chicken is just dough and sickly sweet and mushy. This place has changed. New owner or chief or something. Now just an average Thai place and quite frankly we don't go there any more. You can read below, what my previous opinion was but we have tried it twice lately and feel the place has taken a turn for the worse. I really like the curries here, my wife, the pad Thai. BBB chicken very good too. I live about a mile away and delivery is always fast and efficient. Great neighborhood place. Much preferred to Thai in LA on Brand. My wife and I am in a rut, I tend to get the Panang Currie and she the Pad Thai. After eating in Thai many places we consider these two dishes to be the best at Thai Rama. Mostly we get the food delivered. They have been reliable and the portions are generous with reasonable prices. English is a little dodgey but they understand you a lot better than you understand of them. Once they get your phone number and address in the computer correctly all goes smoothly. I recently tried Thai food about maybe a 3 months ago. I was very pleased with my first experience in eating all soy thai food, minus the noodles. I live near Glendale and that first place I tried was in Hollywood, called Vegen House. Well since I am not willing to drive down to Hollywood just to fufill my thai craving I decided to try around to find one around Glendale. there are a BUNCH! Everywhere in Glendale! I want to start off by saying there lunch special is great, you get a soup and a salad! Also My favorites are the Pa Kee Mao (Drunk Noodles) and pad thai. Personally I like all the noodles, but my favorite must be teh Pa Kee Mao. It is a must try here, chicken of course. I really like the chicken they use here compared to other Thai Restaurants. This place deserves all four stars, great family owned restaurant. It is a must try! read more

This is a cute little restaurant with delicious food. I'm not that picky about my Pad Thai, I'll admit it. But I LOVE theirs. It has a nice sweetness to it that makes it stand out. My fiance got the Pad See Ew and he said it was good. He's a bit of a foodie, so for him that's pretty high praise. ;) I would give them 5 stars for the food, but the reason I lowered it to 4 is that the portions seemed a bit smaller than other close by Thai restaurants I have tried. I did order to go, so it may be that the portions for sit down are larger. Still, the prices are decent and the food is great, so I'll be back for more soon! read more

I was in the area and needed to take my dinner break. Found this place on Yelp. Ordered the crab fried rice, thai tea and fried dumplings. The crab fried rice was pretty good, the thai tea was made from syrup (like all 2nd rate thai restaurants who think it's too hard to make real thai tea) and the fried dumplings still looked steamed to me and not charred/toasted how fried dumplings are supposed to be. Dumplings and tea were lack luster but the rice was tasty. A solid 3. I will try this place again in the future to see where they really stand on the scale. read more

We waited for two hours after ordering, not even a call from the restaurant letting us know what's going on, yelp told us when we contacted them, said the food is with the driver and will be here in 5-10 mins. Now it's been two hours still nothing, if you can't deliver, then don't even said you can, wasting of our time!!!! read more

Terrible customer service & delivery. Every time we order delivery for lunch the delivery guy gets lost in the building. Today, we ordered spicy noodles and crispy chicken fried rice (medium spice). The first item was correct but the second was not - they sent regular fried rice with chicken, no spice. My co-worker called to inform them of the mistake and the response was "oh I didn't hear crispy"... did you also not hear medium spice? We didn't expect the meal to be refunded but come on!! Proper customer service? Discount off next meal? An apology? SOMETHING? Anyways... the food is just ok. The Coke was excellent. Hesitant to place another order. Bye. read more

Great hidden gem for vegans and vegetarians--their tofu dishes are so yummy and flavorful! I had ginger tofu and they let me add bell pepper and onion for no additional charge I also tried their pad Thai, which was pretty standard but still really delicious and fresh! Food was pretty good, typical basic thai and decent enough service. The guy seated in front of us had horrendous BO so bad I had to switch sides of the table. What was really aggravating was that two children were LOUDLY watching TV on a laptop in the very small dining room. I get that sometimes children have no place to go when mommy is at work, but at least have them doing something quiet so i dont have to listen to some obnoxious kids show the whole time im eating. read more

I really like Thai Rama, both when I am in a hurry and getting take-out or when I stop in the restaurant with my wife. I've ordered from here twice now, through Grubhub, the delivery is really fast which I like, the portions are really good, however, both times I've ordered from either the pad see ew and the pad Thai, and both times the dishes were either dry or lacked the flavor. I even told them on the app before I ordered to add more sauce. I'm very sad because I paid $11 for the dishes and I could not bring myself to enjoy them fully because of the flavor, where is the flavor....really disappointed. read more

Their orange chicken is by far the best I have ever had and I do not say that lightly. Living in the one mile radius of the restaurant for about 10 years, it was time for me to try it. I came in after a hospital visit that made me miss the lunch special so I only ordered their Chicken Pad Thai. The place was cozy, but I was alone there at around 3:30 pm that I felt awkward being served alone. The water came right away, which was a savior on a hot day, and my glass was filled as it emptied. The food took about ten minutes to prepare, and came to me deliciously on a white plate. I thought the sauce was balanced all over the dish, but the noodles were a lot more soggy than I would have liked. The chicken was well-distributed, and so was the bean sprouts. I just wish they put a lot more chopped peanuts for me to enjoy. It was a big enough dish that it could have been enjoyed by two people; but even though the sauce became too overwhelming about two-thirds of the way, it was too good to not continue eating. I loved it so much, I'm trying to catch the lunch special today. We'll see if it can keep me wanting more ;) read more

This place went downhill quickly after the new ownership took over about a year ago. It's hit and miss at best ... sometimes you get a great meal, other times it's mediocre and not worth considering again.
