Mango sticky rice
Yvonne B.

A Glendale staple, Spice Season is my new favorite restaurant! Love the ambiance, it's perfect for dates or restaurants made to impress. Speaking of, the food is top tier. I ordered the pad Thai with chicken and heaven sent chicken dish. Specializing in Thai street food and homestyle dishes, everything tasted amazing. The mango sticky rice was superb to wrap up the meal! The staff were very attentive and made sure all the dishes arrived promptly. This might just be my new go-to for Thai food in Glendale.

Had such a very satisfying meal at Spice Season! We started with the papaya salad, which was incredibly fresh and vibrant, with balance of tangy, sweet, and a little kick of heat. We went with no protein, and it was still incredibly appetizing. The pad thai was spot on, with perfectly cooked noodles that had a great chew coated in a rich, well-balanced sauce that wasn't too heavy and tender slices of chicken that brought everything together. The Gai wings were a highlight, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, served with a sweet vinegar dipping sauce that delivered such perfect sweet-savory balance. To finish, the sticky rice with mango was the perfect ending! Soft, slightly sweet rice paired with ripe, juicy mango that made every bite satisfying. I didn't think I'd be able to finish it, but it was so good I did. Definitely a dessert that left both my mind and stomach happy!!! Thank you guys for a truly wonderful evening and an amazing dinner experience

Went during the lunch rush. I believe there was only 1 server but she managed to give each table the same amount of attention and care. Very clean. Trendy. We got Gai Wings, steak and the aloha curry. Everything was 10/10. This is my new favorite Thai restaurant.

Stopped by here after doing some shopping in Glendale and we were welcomed with warm service! The food was AMAZING and tasted so fresh and clean (healthy). We ordered the Gai wings which were not oily or fatty at all. It was served with a vinaigrette that had chopped onions, cilantro and lemon in it. 10/10 would order again. We also ordered the Lime Steak salad, which had noodle like shredded beets and chopped jicama. The steak was seasoned to perfection and cooked perfectly as well. I would highly recommend (and reorder) this dish as well! The green curry lunch box was also a hit! It came with a side salad, rice, bowl of green curry and some dumplings :) The curry was made fresh with zucchini, eggplant, bell peppers and chicken. I'm not sure how they made it, but it was perfect. I love going to Thai restaurants and order green curry pretty often, and this one might be our favorite :D Finally...the mango sticky rice.... The mangoes were fresh and in season! I can't standddd when places serve mangos and it's not in season! I'm not sure how they flavored the sticky rice, but it was SO SOFT and delicious. Anyways...if my review seems hyped up, it's cause it is. Go check them out! :D

Grilled Chicken

This place is really chill -- small, cozy, and perfect for dates or small groups, with about seven tables. We came almost almost around 8pm. We ordered the papaya salad, fresh roll, grilled chicken, pad see ew, and of course rice. My favorites were definitely the grilled chicken and pad see ew -- both were good! The papaya salad wasn't quite the flavor I expected, but it's a solid option for vegetarians, just not really for me. Parking can be a bit tricky, though there are paid options nearby. The restroom was very clean, which I always appreciate. One small downside was the service toward closing time -- our server seemed a bit rushed (understandable, since it was the end of the night). What I didn't like was that they don't provide a bill receipt; instead, they hold out their mini payment pod while waiting, which felt a little awkward and didn't give me the chance to double-check the charges. They will charge you first and then you can get your receipt is their thing. $92ish total was our bill excluding tip. Overall, great food and atmosphere, but I hope they improve the checkout experience. Enjoy my shared pics!

Basil Seafood Soup

No wait at 5 PM on a weeknight. The ambiance was modern and a little more upscale than we were expecting. Service was prompt and friendly. I was intrigued by the satay quesadilla, so we ordered family style and got that plus the seafood soup and turmeric curry. The satay quesadilla was fine, but it didn't work as well as I thought it would. The mix of sweet peanut sauce, satay chicken, mozzarella cheese and veggies didn't end up quite gelling. The seafood soup had a lovely delicate citrus flavor, and was the perfect complement to the more hearty turmeric curry and white rice. The curry was your classic yellow curry, but was well done. Both the soup and curry didn't skimp on meat. All in all, a nice experience and a great option for those shopping nearby.

I ordered Basil Beef fried rice to go. I didn't realize it is actually a chain restaurant. The food ingredient taste fresh though the seasonings are average for Thai food. Service is super quick though. Inside environment is also good. It is suitable for a quick bite.

Food: Green Curry Lunch Box includes rice, gold rush (chicken fried dumplings), and side salad was a good portion size for $15; the Thai Iced Tea was delicious and came in a mason jar glass mug; interesting fusion menu Service: great, timely and friendly service Design: interiors is modern with natural concrete floors, grey plastered walls with wood accented vertical slats, modern wood screens, wood tables and chairs; counter-type seating, a number of 4-tops, and banquette seating Overall: if you want great traditional Thai and fusion Thai food with great drinks, then check out this spot in Glendale

Phenomenal. That's what comes to mind after dining here. Not only is the place super cute, but it also has food that follows the decor. Everything we ordered salmon, curry, you and the chicken. You can tell they have put a lot of effort in time into the presentation and the taste of the food. I would come back here in a heartbeat. It's just too far for me, but if I'm ever in the area and want Thai food, this is a place to go. It's a short distance from the galleria. Excellent service as well. I would highly recommend.

This is by far one of my children's favorite place to eat. Anytime we are even close to the area,…read morethey expect us to stop at Tigawok. I don't mind, because they happily gobble up the broccoli that they have here. It really is so good. I have noticed that some of the cute things that they had when they first opened are not there anymore. For example, there are no more men, no more lossing stick, and they use paper bags instead of the cute branded bags. But that's totally understandable, I can imagine offering things like that could be expensive. I was surprised it happened in the first place.

My favorite was always the tomato and egg dish, so I came back craving it, only to find out it's no longer on the menu. It looks like TigaWok has shifted to a build-your-own bowl concept. You start by choosing a base (jasmine rice, chow mein, half or all greens, purple rice, or egg fried rice), then a protein, a veggie, and a side. They also offer complimentary sauces, and I really enjoyed the ginger scallion sauce. It added great flavor to my bowl. My only issue was that the menu wasn't very clear about what qualifies as a "veggie" versus a "side." I chose roasted pumpkin (squash) as my vegetable and spicy cucumber as my side, but I was still charged extra, which was confusing. I wish the menu explained the categories better or simply combined the vegetable and side into one selection since they're all vegetable-based dishes. It would make the ordering process much more customer-friendly and avoid surprises at checkout. I also ordered the braised pork belly, which used to be one of my favorites. Before, it came in tender, bite-sized pieces. This time, the pork was cut into larger chunks with a lot of fat, and unfortunately, the meat was dry. I understand that businesses evolve, and the staff explained that the new concept caters to their customer demographics. I appreciate that they're offering more vegan-friendly options while still keeping pork, beef, chicken, and shrimp on the menu. However, I miss the old concept that made TigaWok stand out. I hope they'll consider bringing back some of the original favorites and making the ordering process a little clearer. I'd love to see this place thrive because I've genuinely enjoyed it in the past.

We shared a couple of dishes: -Lechon Kawali: Crunchy, savory, and fried nicely. Loved the flavor and texture and how it wasn't overly fatty. The dark sauce it came with was good, but I think the brown sauce (like mang tomas) was a bit too sweet. -Grilled Chicken Inasal. Succulent meat, a good charred flavor, and crispy skin. There were some dry bits though. This also paired well with the chicken oil and dark sauce. -Adobo Rice: My friends really liked this one. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. I liked the additions of the fried pork adobo pieces on top but the sauce they were coated in was a bit too salty. The interior is colorful and cozy. My son didn't make a reservation because it was a Wednesday night and he didn't think it would be crowded. But with 5 adults and a baby carriage, we had to wait for the right table because the somewhat small restaurant was full. We soon got a good spot and ordered the shrimp ceviche and the pan fried dumplings for appetizers. The ceviche was served on a bed of crispy noodles and it was refreshing and satisfying. The dumplings were crispy, not greasy, and flavorful. For dinner, we got 2 orders of japchae and 3 orders of bibimbap. With 2 Korean-born children and having visited the country, those are among our family's favorite dishes. And they did not disappoint. The japchae noodles were just right. They were not too firm and not too soft and well-seasoned. With a mixture of veggies, meat, mushrooms, eggs, and that delectable sauce, the bibimbap tickled and satiated the tastebuds. I told the server there was a birthday at the table and she brought out an excellent creme brulee with a candle in it. My husband and I didn't pay the bill. But the prices were reasonable with most of the entrees costing less than $20 each. We have four more days in town and may very well make another visit to indulge in that scrumptious food.
