Not only did they perform such a scummy act, but they were laughing about it to customers. This store also effectively forces you to buy a pack just to play in their events and frames it as a free pack even though you pay for it with your entry. On an entirely different but more concerning note, I have personally watched the owner and a female employee be incredibly rude and condescending multiple times to another male employee.

What to some may seem as screaming and shouting in many cultures is the usual voice tone and volume. The younger assistant is definitely more approachable, I won't deny. Anyways, I found a lot of Yaoi/BL manga which I was very surprise about. I know the commonly known books stores are now distribute them too but they sticking to the "trendy" ones. While there isn't a whole section here, you can be sure to find other mangas of your liking such as Haikyuu, Bleach, Blood-C, Naruto and among others. There are a 2-3 Asian food stores in same block but that's about it.

I actually had a great experience. I found them online and requested an estimate. Someone from the sales dept replied immediately. I decided to use them and when I arrived to pick up my equipment I saw the screen I reserved was much larger than I had imagined. The receptionist and the AV person switched it out for me without complaint. I arrived to return the equipment an hour before they opened not realizing they didn't open until 10am. I was sick with the flu and trying to hurry to a doctors appointment as soon as possible. I called and spoke with someone who said the AV person was on his way and she would let him know to come early if he could. 20 minutes later I had turned everything in and was on my way to the doctor. I would absolutely recommend this vendor. They were friendly, professional and knowledgeable with amazing customer service. Kudos!

I am a volunteer for a local non-profit organization that provides services for the elderly. This…read moreorganization rented a pair of stereo speakers with built in amplifiers (Mackie Speakers 15". SRM 450) from Mr. Video on July 3rd 2010 for use on our float in the annual Palisades 4th July parade. After around one hour of use in the parade one of the speakers emitted smoke, caught fire and then stopped working. According to the user manual the speakers have a thermal protection circuit that is supposed to cut the power to the amp and speaker if it overheats. This circuit malfunctioned causing the built in amp to burn up. We continued with the remaining speaker but the effectiveness of the float was compromised. Worse still, upon return of the equipment Mr Video charged $600.00 for a new replacement speaker. This is akin to a customer experiencing a roadside breakdown on a rental car and then being billed for the repair! The speakers were brand new and subject to a 5 year warranty in case of failure so it would appear that Mr. Video may have been attempting to have the unit repaired under warranty and in addition be paid for a brand new unit. After several months of fruitless correspondence with Mr Video the credit card company agreed that an injustice had occurred and charged back the $600.00. Also the units were powered from a car battery then through a DC to AC inverter. This inverter emitted a very loud buzzing interference throughout the operation of the speakers. A replacement inverter was provided but the problem repeated. Needless to say we won't be using this unscrupulous outfit ever again.

Yet for the camping items, they are cheaper at major retailers. I'm sure the NCAC has to pay a large rent to be here, but I'll be getting tents, flashlights, and sleeping bags elsewhere. Still glad this is here. Props to the employees. They are all part of scouts. That alone is great, so you will get solid advice. They do have good products in here for the most part. Also they've been very helpful with last second court of honor items. Scout leaders forget stuff. I appreciate how helpful they've been, and am glad this stores at this convenient location. Spencer who is the store manager had a great presence about him and made it easy for me to make a decision on what to buy. I ended up buying a Minute Maid Blue Raspberry and it is delicious. The sugar intake is 27 vs the 87 percent of sugar in another drink I almost bought. Have to draw the line somewhere. My drink cost $4.49 with a Virginia tax of 7.25%. A lovely .33 cents added brought my total to $4.82. Still this once in a blue moon experience was worth the cost of doing business. The store is decked out nicely and the music play is fantastic. We will be back again. Oh, the shrimp chips were delicious for my wife. Not my cup of tea for me.

Sedar the Team member working this day greeted us warm and friendly as soon as we walked in the store. Sedar gave us a friendly quick tour after we let her know we were looking for vinyl albums. The organization of the albums were very good as well as the grades listed on the each album. I slowly went through the selections and picked up about few. sedar did interact with us a few times and made the visit warm and welcoming. I actually bought a few more albums because I felt comfortable about the business style and layout. We bought 10 albums at about 200.00 and feel great about the quality. I came to Blue Groove Soundz after seeing the 3 $ signs on Yelp, and thinking I could get a higher price here. It ultimately comes down to relativity. Yes, I got a higher price than CD Cellar, but still much less than selling on eBay or even Craig's List.* To give you a comparison of the prices I would've gotten for the turntable: eBay: ~$500 Craig's List: $350 (this is where I actually sold it) Blue Groove Soundz: $50 CD Cellar: Didn't get a quote For the 70 LPs: eBay: ~$350 (excluding shipping/eBay fees) Craig's List: ~$250 (still posted on Craig's List so final prices TBD) Blue Groove Soundz: $70 (after haggling) CD Cellar: $35 So what did I do? You guessed it - I said "thank you but no thank you" and posted everything on Craig's List. I always knew I'd get a lower price when selling to a store, but I didn't expect the price to be less than half the Craig's List price. *That said, I give the store credit for testing my turntable and giving me a price quote for the 1 needed repair.
