THEY HAVE CLOSED THE CLEMSON RESTAURANT. It was a great restaurant, an offspring of their original on Greenville St, across Anmed Hospital in Anderson. Now, the restaurant Thai-Ger (a Clemson pun) is the place to go Thai. I don't think it is quite as good as Thai Spice was (or is in Anderson), but it is good for Clemson... and far better than the one that was here years ago. If you get towards the hospital in Anderson, try Thai Spice. read more

Some of the best food in town- if you like spicy foods, try the Spicy Veggie with beef. If you're new to Thai food this place has some of the best Pad Thai ever. If you're in a hurry for lunch, this might not be the place to go. their busiest hours are between 11:30-1:00 as they are right across the street from the hospital. This is the best restaurant in Anderson for a healthier option in restaurant food. This is a very casual atmosphere, (atmosphere)? It is clean an reasonably comfortable. The have many vegetarian options but you can add chicken, beef, tofu or shrimp to just about anything. If you eat gluten free they have lots of rice noodle options. I have had Vegetables with Cashew Nuts, Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice and Massyman Curry. Everything has been delicious. When I'm there I love looking at others wonderful looking dishes coming to the tables. I always ask about something appealing I saw being served for my next visit. The Thai Coffee is good as a dessert for me. I am so pleased Anderson has this restaurant so I don't always have to go to Greenville when I want to eat out. The prices are very reasonable. read more

Thai Spice was my first experience with Thai food. I absolutely fell in love with it. I've been to a few other Thai restaurants in the area since, but none are as good as this. I usually get the Thai fried rice or the Spicy fried rice. The atmosphere and service are great. The only downside to eating in the restaurant is that it's pretty small. It can get crowded around lunchtime, but you can always get carryout. read more

Outstanding food! In the past ten days I have had 15 different entrees, one salad & one soup. The spice level can be ordered from mild to Thai hot. This is one of my favorite restaurants in this area. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and service is courteous & speedy. If you like Asian food, do not miss this one. The customer service here was good. Very attentive. I ordered chicken pad Thai and I seriously got it in less then 6 min. Fast right? And it was good. Water was always refilled. My husband ordered a soup and he didn't like it too much it had a strong smell to it. But that's his taste . This place is very expensive for what it is The presentation is very nice but the food does not live up it. I got several items and paid almost $20. The salmon roll was boring, and Publix' california roll is better than theirs here. Th wontons were amazing, but at $1.50 each, they should be. The service was fast and friendly, but the food was just too overpriced for me. I won't be back unless I decide to splurge on wontons. read more

How does this place not have more reviews? I live in NJ and my Aunt lives in Anderson. She took me here for the first time a few years ago. They have the best Chicken Satay IN THE WORLD!!!!! I always get 2 orders of it, and get 2 more to take home! It is full of flavor, and the sauce is to die for! Also the cucumber salad that comes on the side is amazing! The Pad See Ew is Awesome as well! The place is small and they have a small parking lot. The owner is really nice as well! Every time I visit my Aunt I have to stop here. My wife and I love Thai food, and we agree that this is one of the best places we've visited in the country. We've explored nearly every Thai restaurant in Denver, Seattle, Portland, OR, and many in Massachusetts, New Hampshire (the few you can find), Memphis, and Virginia. Every one of their beef salad dishes is incredible, their Nam Tok, Yum Nua (on the menu as Beef Salad), and Larb (we always get beef instead of chicken). Their Tom Kha is world class. The nuance in flavor of everything they make is demonstrative of a chef who considers their work an art. Service is always friendly, and they are more than happy to accommodate special requests. I ate here last weekend and I got the Chicken Pad-Thai. It was disgusting! I not much of a picky eater and there is nothing that I really don't like and wont eat. It was so bad. I didnt even get close to finishing it. I had my whole table try it and they all 7 agreed. It was like it was cooked in toothpasted with a hint of gasoline. We told our waitress how bad it was and either she didnt understand or just didnt care. I tried their sushi, which was good. SO be warned only get the sushi. read more

NO WONDER the parking lot was empty when I went there to order take out !!! I got ripped off BIG TIME !!! TWENTY THREE BUCKS for baby egg rolls (disgusting), Tom Yum Seafood soup (about ONE bowl worth with almost NOTHING it ...AARRG !) and shrimp pad thai....The pad thai took up about HALF of the take out container and that's it !!! Guess what ? You get plenty of plain white rice.....TOTAL RIP OFF !!!!
