Not very good. The food was mediocre, the shrimp tempura was inedible. Won't be back.

I always try to give a restaurant at least twice before leaving a less than stellar review. Well…read morenow I've tried them a couple of times and I'm still not impressed. The food is okay, not great. The service a bit of a mess, the ambiance is okay. Our table ordered Drunken Noodle which was good, red curry and green curry. We also had a coconut soup and an order of baby egg rolls. My favorite part of the meal was the baby egg rolls and that's kinda sad. My companions ordered Thai teas and I got sweet tea which my tea was fine. Hubby's drunken noodle was actually pretty good. My green curry (with tofu) was fine but the rice was mushy. We also got a mango sticky rice for dessert but it seemed the rice was leftover from yesterday maybe. I wish I had better remarks but again, this is not my first visit and I had similar complaints the first time. As far as service, the servers were nice enough and I think for the volume of patrons they were doing okay but it still was a bit of a mess. They were doubling the work trying to cover all tables when maybe they should've had separate sections. I think that would've quelled some of the overlap like both servers working to refill my tea and by the time one had, the other was coming with the pitcher. This next part is the fault of the kitchen. I watched table after table get served their dishes scattered, where one person would get theirs while the others at the table were waiting for theirs to come. Some would wait for the others to be served but some would go ahead and start eating ahead of their party. This happened the last time I was there as well. That needs to be tightened up. Personally, I wouldn't go back. The experience was a bit of a drag. We regretted ordering dessert as it took so long to come and we were antsy to get out of there by the time it came. The food was good enough but it could've been so much better and the service stayed afloat but certainly could be better.

The honey orange chicken was served with vegetables and jasmine rice. It wasn't too sweet and the chicken was crispy. It's a great place for a date. The decor was very nice. Bon apitito!!

Thai is probably my favorite cuisine and specifically I'm addicted to Thai green curry. I'm very particular and am often let down when restaurants slack on the creaminess/richness of the curries. I've yet to experience that here. I've tried most of the curries offered here and they are all very rich and flavorful! The Drunken Noodle is delicious as is the basil fried rice. They nail the landing on coconut soup and as recently offered with dinner egg drop soup. I've never been much of a fan of egg drop soup but Tifudi changed my mind! I'll enjoy theirs any day which makes me wonder if this is what egg drop soup should really taste like. Tifudi raises the bar on so many dishes. Being from Atlanta and constantly on the road, there are only a couple of standout Thai restaurants that would keep bringing me back and Tifudi is one that makes the list of about 3 top favs, which says a lot! The service is always pleasant, the restaurant is always clean and the food is top notch! Grateful to have this place close by.

Stopped by Monsoon, located in quaint downtown Spartanburg, for a quick lunch our way to Atlanta!…read moreYou place your order at the front counter, even if you're eating in the restaurant, and seat yourself. We got the: - Drunken Noodles with Pork: Delicious! The sauce was the right level of sweet with a subtle spiciness. I'm used to wider rice noodles in this dish, but these noodles still had a good mouth feel. Good amount of well-cooked veggies (bell pepper, carrot, onion). - Stir Fry Eggplant with Tofu: Overall, a good dish with lots of tofu plus veggies and a sweet sauce. I prefer my eggplant to be a bit softer, but this was fine. Comes with white rice; I chose to upgrade to fried rice, but would not do this again (it just felt like rice with a hint of soy sauce). - Thai Iced Tea: Loved this! The tea flavor was super strong and not overwhelmingly sweet. Service was super fast, surprisingly so. Ambiance is really nice, lots of seating available. There's free 2-hour street parking. 9/10 would recommend!

We ordered the Pad Thai and a couple of their specials. The dishes were decent, not the most memorable Pad Thai we've had, but still satisfying and honestly pretty solid for Spartanburg. Beautiful decor and space, lots of seating space. I would go back when I'm in the area and want something quick and casual with great service.
