This place is so good!! Everything was fresh and made to order by a sushi chef working behind the counter/bar. It's a small establishment, maybe 12 tables total, but it is super cute inside. It feels very intimate and is great for a quiet date night. My favorite this that I tried was the salt and pepper calamari. So crunchy, and well seasoned. The veggies that came with it complemented the flavor and made for such a delicious appetizer. We got several types of sushi too, but we started eating before I remembered to snap a photo (lol). The food, service, and atmosphere were bond my expectations for the well hidden spot in Sunnyvale. I felt as if I were in Old San Francisco, where the Asian cuisines crossed regions all in one menu. I have never experienced custom made GLUTEN FREE sushi rolls, fried rices and appetizers all arrive within minutes and perfectly presented and tasty. I have been here in person several times and the food was very good. The last time we ate there we ordered online and picked it up. My crab based sushi roll was filled with fried shrimp tails. I pulled about 8 crunchy shrimp tails out of my roll that was supposed to only contain crab meat. Seems like maybe the discarded peelings from the shrimp somehow got fried and put into my sushi roll. It really put me off, and I have had a hard time eating sushi from anywhere since. I may give them one more chance- but if the owner/ management sees this- please make sure the chefs pay more attention to detail. It was a really disgusting and disappointing experience. read more

I got the Steak Basil and Coconut Chicken soup, both of which tasted delicious! The chefs specialty roll was very good and the menu had a lot of options to choose from. The restaurant was cute from the outside and had nice lighting inside. The tables were sticky. But when the food came out it was good. Mostly the roll. I didn't enjoy the sashimi that much, didn't taste that fresh. Seemed a little bit pricey in the end for the portion, but that's just sushi anywhere (nearly $30). I wanted to give this place a try since I've driven by multiple times. This was a nice hidden lunch getaway that took me by surprise. It's in a stand alone building somewhat tucked away and when you walk in the scene totally shifts to a dim, quiet, Thai oasis. The decor is amazing. We went during the late lunch hour and were seated immediately. Our server was attentive and quick. Our food came out super quick, and those bao buns are so good! My family has come here few times, and as my first time going, I'd say best sushi I've had so far. So fresh. The filet mignon appetizer is also 10/10! We were pleasantly surprised. There is the right amount of diverse options that should satisfy just about everyone. Everything was tasty. The sushi was fresh and I really enjoyed the Yellowfin. The service was efficient. The decor was delightful. Everything was clean and welcoming. I would admit any deficiency but I can't think of any. We ended up taking a few pieces of sushi home. I wanted the Sunnyvale location since it was closer but ended up ordering from the Forney location so be careful if you order online. Overall the food was good. Everyone liked their dish. The veggie sushi rolls were ok and the fried rice wasn't the best but wasn't bad either. I will most likely be visiting again but probably the Sunnyvale location to give them a try. read more
