The place is just simple inside. I was told they've been here for a long time. It's a homey feel with the traditional big round wobbly tables with a lazy susan in the middle. The menu is extensive and has plenty of seafood options as well as meat dishes. We ordered a variety of both and everything was delicious. My only critique is the portion size. It's okay for a few people but for a family meal, we had to order two portions of some dishes. There's another gentleman that brings the food out and buses tables that's also very friendly. Get the dungeness crab fried rice!

The fish filets are fried to perfection, full of salt/pepper flavor, and pairs well with the jalapeños. If you don't like fish, you can get the same flavor with the pork version of this dish, which I also really like. The service can be a little slow because it's just 1 chef and 1 waitress who own the restaurant - same people that have run the show since I first came here probably almost 30 years ago! The lady working was sweet and was working her butt off with the 5 tables she had. Felt great to support a local business. The restaurant itself is out dated but the tables and utensils were clean. The atmosphere added to the experience and the background music was just perfection.

He claimed that the wire must have come from the "brush they use to clean," and insisted it was okay. That reasoning made absolutely no sense. If the wire came from a cleaning brush, why wasn't the wok rinsed properly? And if it somehow ended up inside the fried rice, what exactly is going on in the kitchen? How many people have eaten these wires without noticing over the years? Food safety is not something to be brushed off with excuses. This was our last visit here. If you care about cleanliness and proper kitchen standards, I would proceed with caution.

I ordered takeout and still had enough food left over for another meal. The menu is massive, and I had no idea what to get at first. Chris (server) took the time to help me look through the menu, explain some of the dishes, and make recommendations. He didn't make me feel rushed at all, which I really appreciated especially for the takeout focused style they have going on. The owner, was also super friendly and welcoming when I came in. It was also cool hearing about some of the improvements they have planned for the restaurant. You can tell they care about the place and want to keep making it better. Great food, great people, and great portions. Definitely won't be my last visit!
