Thai Taste Cuisine Good: General flavor of the dishes was good, the service was very friendly and the dining room is lively/inviting with fun art Bad: Price for quality, food texture, and unsanitary restrooms Some of my review will seem harsh, but this place is worth a try if you're in the area. Hopefully the kitchen will consider my suggestions. I wanted to really like TT. The reviews were high and it made for a good ending after a long walk and exploration of the Peninsula. The dining room is cool with fun art and the service is fast and very friendly. Unfortunately the food comes out flat especially for Thai that's on the pricey side. All the dishes were heavily watered down - too much stock and not enough coconut milk to give that needed fat for flavor and texture. The tom kau soup doesn't need to be thick, but definitely needs more coconut milk to get the flavor and consistency. Same with the curry. It seemed like the dish was floating and needed more fat to straighten out both flavor and texture. The chicken satay was smothered in the sauce. It gave the impression of chicken drowning in gravy. A tip would be raise the peanut butter content, and serve the sauce on the side in a dipping bowl so the chicken gets a chance to shine. The mens room was unsanitary. There was a hasty "paint-over" a huge hole in the wall and the urine odor was terrible. Finally, the menu has a system of hot represented by American (1 pepper) Mexican (2 pepper) and Thai (3 pepper). I get the message but there's no need for the nationalistic stereo types and loaded assumptions. A clear and clean 1-3 peppers is all that's needed. read more

We absolutely loved the iced teas, appetizer sampler, and drunken noodles. The garlic chicken was very very bland, but it was much better with the hot chili sauce we requested. Food: chicken Panang is out of this world. One can taste all the delicious savory and sweet flavors. We have made this our stop every single time. The Thai donuts are amazing and light not to be skipped. Service: they are always so good to us. We have three kids that are feral and they always spill. The staff always provides extras for us. After visiting Presque State Park on a chilly day, dining on Thai food right outside the park entrance at this restaurant was perfect . Service was fast, my host and servers were attentive. I ordered hot jasmine tea, summer rolls, and a curry dish. Very satisfying and warmed me up. read more

Stopped in for takeout the evening before departing the area. Did not order in advance. Walked in as Sarah's look way too busy. Very well kept interior, with lovely decor. The lady took my order was friendly and thoughtful! Thank you! I ordered their Thai spicy noodle soup along with the Thai sample platter to take back to the campground. When I got there, both dishes were still hot, and I must say absolutely delicious! If we were here longer, I would definitely come back! read more

Very good new Thai Place in town! The menu selection is huge. I frequently have Thai food and consider myself a Thai food snob. That being said, I am attempting something new every time I come here. I also eat frequently at the Thai Eatery by the mall. Comparing the two is difficult. They both have very good dishes! It's a toss-up, because if one item is better at either, there is also something I prefer from the other restaurant. Comparing this particular dish , I prefer it at the Thai Eatery, as it had a slightly bigger portion and definitely had more seafood and vegetables. The ratio of noodles to seafood and vegetables was not very good here, too much noodle. It also has a different name at the Thai Eatery... something like Pad Kee Mow. They both taste delicious, but the other restaurant gave you more for your money. This restaurant is a little more pricey as well. A couple of months ago, I had the Pineapple Fried Rice here... and it was fantastic!! The presentation is pretty impressive. They hollow out a pineapple and serve the rice in it!! The rice is packed with stuff too, very flavorful. I have also had the shrimp donuts, which is an appetizer. FANTASTIC! They mince up the shrimp, shape it into a donut, and then deep fry it and serve it with a sweet dipping sauce. I wish they had that as an entree because I would definitely have it!! This place is definitely worth the visit... and so is the Thai Eatery by the mall. They both have fantastic food! read more

I love Thai food and was not disappointed with Thai Taste Cuisine! We stopped in while passing through Erie, PA - will be a place we hit for now on when in the area. Fresh, perfect amount of slice, Thai Tea with Boba was wonderful, the Drunken Niodles EXCELLENT and just loved the Mango Sticky Rice. With the Chicken Satay had more to it, but the flavors were great and the Peanut Sauce some of the best I've had. A great find! read more

Friendly staff however my lunch companion was new to Thai food and was looking for recommendations and they were reticent to give any suggestions. The seafood dumplings and veggies rolls were served promptly and hot. Very tasty. The Pad Phed Pha was outstanding and the green curry was also delicious. read more

Fabulous! You walk in and are greeted with friendly hosts. Beautiful Thai decor and music set the ambiance. The menu has pages of choice's. I lovrd the fact the menu had photos and descriptions! My husband and I had heard good things about this place and decided to try it. It was getting late, around 9, but they are open until 10 so no problem, right? Wrong! The food was decent but they didn't give us two minutes peace the whole time we were there. They were constantly reminding us that they were closing soon and that they "want to go home". They were reaching in front of us to take things off the table because "we need to clean the kitchen". One lady, I think it was the owner, stood behind me watching us eat. They turned off the lights at 9:45 again reminding us that they "want to go home". They must have repeated that at least a half dozen times. If they want to be on the way home before 10 they should close earlier. We left at 10:01 and they sat in the parking lot until we drove away. Overall it was a miserable dining experience and we will not go back. My advice, if you want to enjoy your meal go early. read more
