I hardly ever write reviews but WOW! The service was genuinely amazing, our server was named Moo. She was super sweet and very attentive. Our food was PERFECTION. I eat Thai food all the time so I'm not easily impressed but they've definitely earned themself a new regular. Every person in our party loved their food. We started with Papaya salad as our appetizer and there literally wasn't a drop of juice left when she came back to clear the plates. Our meals were nothing less than delicious. My wife and I really like this place and get takeout from here often. They can get busy during peak hours so plan ahead. I almost always get the Tai Town Beef fried rice which has awesome flavors. Make sure you know your spice tolerance; medium is plenty hot for me. A side of papaya salad hits the spot and the mango rice dessert is a nice finish. The ladies that work there are very nice and I highly recommend this place for authentic Thai food. read more

The Pad Thai and fried rice are both excellent and the portions are very good. I cannot give five stars due to the service. On my most recent visit (I'm a very regular customer), they gave me the wrong order. I didn't realize it until I got home, so I drove back to the restaurant where they gave me the right order and took the first order back and handed it right over to someone else. They didn't offer anything for my trouble or having to drive back from my house, and still charged me full price. That is very poor customer service and it may be enough for me not to come back, even though I do love the food itself. read more

The Chicken pad Thai is the best around. At lunch they give you a roll and soup to start with, both of which were delicious. The service is friendly and fast. The location and parking lot aren't the best depending on where you're coming from or going to, but everything about the food experience is top-notch. read more

Had a late lunch there on Sunday afternoon. tow other tables besides ours & it took 50 minutes to get our food. I wanted to walk out after 30 minutes had past but my sister insisted to stay. We haven't ate a lot of Thai food but decided to try something different from all the great Sea Food we have been eating this past month. So after checking out reviews we settled on Thai Town. Great decision!! First off the service was fantastic. Our server helped explain the different menu items and heat levels. We ordered the Pad Thai (medium heat) and the Sweet and Sour Chicken (low heat) We also had the summer rolls. The food was outstanding and the serving size was huge... I just wasn't a fan of the thia tea here. But the Thai noodle soup is one of the greatest Thai soups I have ever had anywhere, and the appetizer wontons were excellent. I usually do not order wontons because I do not like how oily and messy they are the perfect size and not at all oily. read more

When I worked on Hurlburt Field we would call in a 20+ person order to this place about once per week. They always got it all right, always had it done quick, and always gave the person that went to pick it up a free order of spring rolls. The only Thai food I really like is Pad Thai, but out of the countless Thai restaurants in town, everyone insisted this was the best for the other foods they got. The heat levels are definitely accurate. Thai Hot is just that.... its painful but it still has a good amount of flavor. Hot is probably my favorite, and the medium can still make your eyes water on a good day. read more

Best Thai food I've had in the Navarre/Mary Ester area so far. This is the fourth Thai place I've gone to here and it's by far the best. We had the pad Thai, red curry, golden tofu, the dumplings, and Thai tea. Everything was perfect. The golden tofu was fried perfectly. The dumplings were super yummy. The red curry was spicy and the ingredients looked fresh and the chicken I had in it was really tender. The pad Thai was a mound of food but also done extremely well. I'd love to come back here! My family was visiting Fort Walton Beach with my mom who is a former caterer an amazing cook. I found out that she liked Thai food and I begin to look for a good restaurant. The highest-rated one in the area was Thai Town. What a great choice. The food was very fresh, including vegetables and fruit. It was a wonderful meal and all six of us got something that was particularly tasty. I was told by another regular there that he had never had a bad meal there. After our dinner I believe that. You ought to stop in, the neighborhood is not special, but the food in the service were great. I would drive out of my way to get back there. read more

This is really a decent restaurant. They've recently expanded their indoor seating capacity. Everything I've ever had here has been good and flavorful. I do agree that the larb comes quite wet, but it tastes very good, especially when you enjoy it the traditional way, with sticky rice. I'd never base my entire review on one dish. Freshest Thai we've ever had!! REAL egg drop soup - smooth and rich (not the standard "funny broth with a little egg in it!") I had the Taste of Thai Town. The veggies are the BEST, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Hubby had cashew chicken and enjoyed every bite. We had the$7.50 lunch portions, but I took home enough for dinner, too! Oh, and the iced tea is bold and flavorful, and the homemade pepper sauces are delightful, too! Tried it the other night with the wife, as most Thai places in Ft Walton are closed on Sunday. Not too bad, but too salty for my taste, and my wife was the first to pick up on it. They have the hot levels correct, hot is hot, and thai hot is definitely thai hot. I've had better, but in a pinch, this place is good. read more

Used to be a long time customer, but not after today! Was brought wrong food, tried eating it but couldn't. Got disgusted. When it was time to pay my husband politely asked to remove my plate off the bill since I didn't eat it. The lady stood there and said that we ordered the wrong thing and that my plate had chicken. I ordered chicken noodle stir fry instead got shrimp stir fry w/no hint of chicken like she said it did. She started to raise her voice when my husband tried talking to her. I got involved and same way, I told her we didn't order the wrong thing and that we had never had any issues of ordering this plate the way we did. After moving, it was nice to find a good Thai restaurant that I could go back to and enjoy. Food was great and the service was pleasant.

We had planned on going to a nearby seafood restaurant, but the wait was incredibly long and our toddler would not abide an hour wait. Our next choice was Thai Town, and I'm honestly glad that the first choice didn't work out. I seriously doubt it would've been better than the thai food we took back to our hotel room. We got the standard shrimp pad thai, basil chicken, spring rolls, and summer rolls. Our little guy was crazy about everything, and so were we. It was all fresh and the flavors were perfect. Next time we're in Destin we'll most likely be back. You don't typically go to the beach for thai food, but this would definitely be the exception. read more

Had a great Sunday lunch here with my girls. We had summer rolls and rose dumplings to start. The summer roll was great, smaller than most I've had but fresh with a very tasty peanut sauce. The dumpling was good but an odd flavor profile for me. They gave us complimentary spring rolls that were crunchy and tasty. We followed with pork pad Thai and shrimp red curry. The pad Thai was the best I've had in a long time, very flavorful and less Americanized. The red curry came in a huge bowl with a side of white rice. The dish was wonderfully spicey and pungent with basil and lime. We all enjoyed the meal which was modestly priced with a pleasant atmosphere and nice Thai vibe.
