The food is good but the outside environment is even better! Find a table under the twinkle lights for a peaceful dinner with ambiance. They have a nice menu with a nice balance of Thai and Japanese. The sampler appetizer is shown below along with the kanisu, vegetable pad Thai, chicken teriyaki, and Hawaiian roll . Greeted with a smile and I felt welcomed. My server greeted me in under three minutes and I had a glass of tea at my table moments later. The server had good suggestions for my appetite and Thai food spice levels. The food came out and the portions were large. Food what good flavor and seemed authentic. Food was very good - we had spring rolls, chicken dish, curry dish. Just be prepared that they will be slow during busy times. I ordered take out and showed up at the designated time that they told me, but waited an extra 30 minutes. Hear me out. This place is convenient to me and they started out really well, when they initially opened. However, the last 3-4 times I ordered from here they began falling off. I usually order the pad Thai or drunken noodles. For $16-$18 they give practically no protein. It's actually absurd the amount of beef they put in here. Used to be my favorite place for sushi now for the passed three visits my orders are completely messed up and not just the wrong order but the wrong fish on my sushi and the wrong sauces. This restaurant is delicious and our go to Asian food in this area. The ingredients are fresh and if you want spicy, they will make it very very spicy! The sushi has good flavor and is fresh. Placed a sushi order online and was promised a 35 minute pickup time. Arrived at stated time and had to wait an additional 1 hour and 40 minutes. While waiting, I observed one of the sushi chefs not wearing a mask. Meals were served to those who were seated however there is no protocol or system in place for takeout so expect confusion and long wait times when arriving to pick up. As far as food quality, the cooked Thai food is far superior than the sushi. The tuna was very strange looking, very dark and bluish in color. Slices of yellow tail were cut very thick and there was 3 times the amount of rice used on each piece. Beware of any sushi restaurant anywhere featuring white tuna. There is no such thing unless it is albacore. They call escolar, a snake like mackerel, white tuna, a deception and eating more than a few ounces could affect your gastrointestinal mechanisms. We have enjoyed this food for several months and like the tuna dishes and curry dishes however lately the quality of the tuna is going downhill. The tuna tatami tonight was tiny and strange, the worst we have seen. We so want to go back for many more dishes but the quality is what we liked so much. I'm really picky about Thai food, but this is really good! The outdoor seating has some ambiance, especially for a strip mall. Love the curries and pad Thai. We had dinner here. We arrived before 6 so I actually had 2 appetizers as they were on a special until 6, they were delicious. My husband ordered vegetable fried rice. For the 3rd time, we are disappointed with this restaurant. All 3 take out order occasions are such a pain. First, it took us so long to pick up the order because my husband picked it up for me and they cant find my order like took 30 mins to figure out. 2nd time, our sampler was missing. 3rd time today, is the same pain bcoz it took so long to find the order because the staff asked a lot of questions, like order #, Full name etc and then got home and found out that they missed the miso soup in our order. The owner is a shrewd and heartless! I (was a frequent customer until yesterday and won't be going back! My son had been fighting stomach issues all week long and spent one full day in the hospital to try and figure things out. He said I need to get out let's go to our Favorite restaurant and I will just get some soup while my wife and I will get a good meal. My son decided he might be able to eat something solid but with soup he won't be able to eat a full meal. We asked out waitress is we could order a kids chicken teriyaki but please have the sauce on the side because he probably won't use it but if he want to try and dip it he can. She said no problem!! Fast forward she said we can't do it because the owner won't allow you to order a kids meal. I kindly asked to speak to owner and I explained I eat hear at least 3-4 times a month and reccomend this place all the time and that my son is not well but wanted to see if he can eat something small beside the soup, she says why don't you order something else and get an appetizer because he can't just have a kids meal. She then asked me if we were sharing our meals because people who order kids meals get over on us. I was disgusted with her but she reluctantly said Ok. A few minutes later my son was no feeling well and asked if we can get the food to go. Bottom line she is a nasty owner with no compassion and does not know how to treat a good customer.
