I had an amazing experience at Seoul Korean Restaurant today. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly hospitable and genuinely caring, which made the whole visit feel welcoming and comfortable. Was looking for a good Korean Bbq to try out since there are not many options in the North Port area. The food was wonderful. The portions were generous did not go away hungry. The restaurant itself is somewhat small with a limited number of tables but we were still seated right away. With that in mind you may have to wait to be seated. Our server offered great suggestions. The dumplings were excellent with a nice crisp outer shell, and perfect blend of spicy. We shared 2 entrees and could barely finish them. We will definitely be back. read more

I got korean fried chicken which i didn't like as much as General Tso's chicken. Those came with a bunch of little sides that I guess are Korean. And the owners hovered in a way I found annoying. We made a mistake. Not the restaurants fault. We couldn't go. So we ordered delivery via Uber Eats. Not their problem. Seoul Korean Restaurant is wonderful in person. The food, ambience and service make it the best Korean restaurant, for my money, in Naples. But delivered food is not in their long suit. I guess it should be obvious. Dolsit Bibimbop served in its stone bowl is amazing! Served in aluminum foil, inside a plastic bowl, with a cold fried egg on top, not so much. Same was true of the Grilled pork with garlic. It was dry, tough, and unappealing. The steamed dumplings were good, and the variety of banchan was also appealing. Sorry for the 3 stars. Our fault. Go there, eat and I'm sure it'll be a 5 star experience as it has been for us in the past. Take out/ delivery, not so much. read more

She said no order "forgot the name of the dish" (pictured). It was crsipy pork belly on the side with slightly pickled veggies (onion, lettuce, enoki, greenonion) in a spicy sauce. No idea what appetizer we got either we were just doing as we were told but it was a combo of fried noodles, potstickers and rice cakes. So good my friend ordered it as his dinner as well. First time here from Port Charlotte and it was worth the trip (drove from Fort Myers after coming from the movies). Excellent customer service on and off the phone. The man (owner) that answered welcomed me when I came to pick up my order and so did his wife (co-owner). Both had a smile and were accommodating. I ordered to-go but ended up staying when the husband recommended I return and sat down to eat. He offered a water and to plate the food so I didn't have to eat out of the styrofoam plates but I didn't care. He, instead, brought me a plate, spoon/fork/chopsticks wrapped in a napkin, and a cup of iced water. I like that there is seating in and outside. You ca hear light music playing and it's nice and bright. Though introverted, the ambiance made me feel comfortable while there. I'll definitely be back! read more

The ambiance was very welcoming. They had a good selection of authentic Korean food. The banchan were very good. I tried the galbi tang and it was good. My friend had a dolsot bibimbap and she loved it. Food was in good portion. The staff was friendly but seemed to be a bit overwhelmed to serve the party. This modest Naples establishment offers authentic Korean food. From the menu to the delivery we were very happy with our first visit to Seoul Korean Restaurant. When I told my Chinese girlfriend that we were not going for Wednesday night fried chicken but would go here instead she was most excited! We ordered: Calamari, Short Rib Soup, and KFC (Korean Fried Chicken). The Calamari came out first. The batter was light and the calamari were tender and tasty. We enjoyed the dipping sauce and split the appetizer to our delight. Next came the KFC with all the side dishes and we a bowl of rice for each of us. The chicken was delicately fried and mixed with the Korean chili sauce. Chicken was tender, tasty, not dry, and the serving was enough for the both of us. Our large bowl of soup followed soon after and served piping hot! The mix of egg, noodles, vegetable, egg, and beef rib was perfect! The broth was not salty and we enjoyed the tender and soft texture of the beef ribs. The meat fell right off the bone. We each had a glass of wine. I was struggling with my chopsticks lol and she came over and fixed me a spoonful and said try like this The food was so good I didn't even get a picture because we were to busy eating it ... but, a must try is the pork chop special ~ grilled pork belly with "salad" bean sprouts, lettuce, lots of spices and delicious flavors. My partner and I have been coming here the past two years and the consistency of INCREDIBLE food is just amazing. I usually get the japchae with bulgogi and he gets the Korean pork belly and they're SO GOOD. they're even better the next day too (which is good because you'll always have leftovers!). In Naples during a surprising cold snap. One of the best comfort foods when it's cold outside is yookgaejang. It's a Korean spicy, shredded beef stew. At home you make a huge pot and eat it over several days and it's a dish that just gets better and better. Restaurants usually skimp on ingredients to keep costs down. This restaurant put in all the ingredients you would if you were to make it at home. Flavor was well balanced spiciness and the ratio of the various ingredients was spot on. One of the best yookgaejang I've had in a restaurant. Went back a second time in a week because it was that good. Four stars because the rice on the first visit was too watery. The rice was made properly on the second visit. It's an issue when an Asian restaurant doesn't consistently get the basic white rice right. But yookgaejang was so good I took the chance and went back. Banchan wasn't great (too salty for me on the second visit) but again the soup was more than worth the return when that's what you're craving. Entertaining atmosphere with the Korean owner shouting out instructions to her predominantly non-Korean staff in Korean and dropping Korean greetings and words when talking to the predominantly non- Korean customers. I would go back next time I'm in Naples. read more

This restaurant is the real deal. It is the only dedicated Korean only restaurant. It is hidden away but this restaurant is small but warm. The staff was so friendly and gave recommendations and descriptions of what to order. We had a feast. We were so nervous about what to order, especially because the prices were on the higher end. We ordered the japchae and that was amazing, we tried the cold noodles and the owner explained how and what we were eating. While on my way to the our resort I googled Korean wings and this location came up. To my suprise when I got there I was told by staff that they no longer serve them. Well since I was there I decided to order a dish to try out any and ended up getting the Yang Nyum fried chicken. The food was ok, while I enjoyed the sauce, I felt the chicken could of been seasoned a little more. This is quite an interesting Korean restaurant in Naples. I was visiting for the day and was really craving some Korean food, and this seemed to be the best option available. Upon arriving we were greeted by the owner(?) who was very friendly, but we had to wait a couple of minutes for them to clear one of the many dirty tables to give us a seat. It then took quite a while for someone to take our order, and also a very long time to get the side dishes as well. The man serving us did come by and mention they were understaffed and everything was homemade, so I understand where they were coming from since it was also New Year's Day. The food was really good! Not super authentic I would say, but definitely flavorful and satisfied my craving. My favorites of the banchan were the kimchi and radish, but the fishcakes were also super good. I ordered the kimchi jjigae for my main entree, which was a lot better than I expected! It came with tofu, pork, kimchi, and some other vegetables along with a bowl of rice. I tried some of the other dishes we ordered such as the dolsot bibimbap, cold noodles, and stirfried pork belly with kimchi and they were all great as well. My children wanted to rate this place: The food was palatably, exceptionally, especially, extremely, excruciatingly, excitingly, and amazingly enriching to engulf. You have the option of upgrading to bulgogi beef, I opted for the regular. Staff here is always so friendly and helpful. The environment is relaxing and they usually have k-pop music In the background. Our food was made to order and took around 15-20 min. Our appetizers were promptly brought out; our food came out shortly after. With every meal you also get the infamous ban chan which is the side dishes. Everything was flavorful and piping hot, the tteokboki was delicious per usual, the rice cakes had the perfect chew. The mandu was fried to perfection and delicious. The omelet rice, was divine.
