I can't say enough about this place. It really is the best of the best. I've seen Jack twice now and both times were phenomenal. We expect massages to be relaxing and to give our muscles a sense of release, but he surpassed all my expectations on both counts. His use of pressure is the most perfectly calibrated I've seen: deep, targeted, and effective, but not painful. The result is that both my muscles and my mind get to unwind. Their standard massage packs A LOT into an hour, including a little Thai stretching, hot stones, and draped steam towels. It sounds like a lot, but they really are integrated in a way that makes sense. It's hard not to feel like you are being taken care of. As others have commented, the atmosphere is also unimpeachable, which helps. Scheduling is easy, the prices are reasonable, and there is a private parking lot (you do have to kind of look to find it, as it's set back from the street). read more

Best massage I have had. I am fairly active with martial arts, weightlifting and have built up a lot of tightness and pain. The massage was everything I could ask for. Jack took his time and really gave me one of best massages ive ever had. At the end of the massage my tightness and pain that I have been feeling was completely gone. If you're someone who needs a deep massage and are very tight I highly recommend this place. I am completely pain free right now and I will definitely come back. Very happy to give five stars to this hidden oasis that we are fortunate to have just down the street from us. My husband and I got the couples massage both times which includes a mix of Thai and Western style massage (including hot stones). The first time I was pregnant and they did a very relaxing and accommodating prenatal massage. Now with a four week old baby we both needed to unwind! Both times we were able to get an appointment easily on short notice. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of the service. Also note a discount for paying in cash. I came here for the first time two months ago and since then have come back four times! It is now a regular on my calendar. The first time was so good I literally had the thought, "OMG, I've found a reason to live for!" The second time I felt like I had gotten to experience heaven for a moment on earth. The hot stones feel like lava pouring down your back and relax even the tightest of my muscles. One would think it can't get better than that, but each time I go away completely delighted and feeling like it just gets better. Jack has been my massage therapist and has been amazing. He is kind and sensitive to my back's various pains and literally has magic hands. The difference in the looseness of my back has been remarkable. I also went with a friend who had Tammy, and he raved about her too. So, it seems that you cannot go wrong with any of these wonderful masseuses. As mentioned before, if you go on weekdays before 2 p.m. it is very reasonably priced, which gives us all the more reason and ability to tip generously! I went here yesterday with my boyfriend and had a couples massage done. The massage was great and the women that gave us our massages were very sweet. We did arrive late due to traffic and getting lost ( we live an hour away ) but they were very very understanding. The way these women massaged us we could tell they took pride in what they do. The place was very warm and welcoming. I asked for medium/firm pressure and was always asked if the pressure was too much. Extremely clean. Great vibes. One of the best massages I've had, and I've had a lot over the years. Very friendly, peaceful environment. The massage was a combination of deep tissue, hot stone and gentle stretching. They offer a choice of essential oils and wipe you down with warm towels afterwards so you don't leave all oily and have hot tea waiting for you when you come out. My girlfriend surprised me with a couples massage at Thai Village Spa in Newton. Everything was as professional and as good as we could have asked for. When we were sat down we were asked to fill out a quick sheet on our areas we wanted the masseuse to focus on. After our massage, those areas we circled on both of us were completely relieved. They had us pick a scent for the aromatherapy part of the massage, they had delicious tea, had us put on slippers, and escorted us to the massage room which was dimly lit and very comfortable. These aren't cheap fold in half massage tables, they were comfy and roomy. The massage itself consisted of many different techniques including deep tissue , hot stones, and aromatherapy. The massage was wonderful, for both of us. It was hands down, the best massage I have ever had. We decided we would return here every other month and we are scheduled to return next week. The overall experience was fantastic. We were waited on and treated to an amazing 5 star massage at a very affordable and reasonable price. I had the Thai Villa massage with Jack today and I cannot wait to go back. This was my first experience getting a thai massage so I wasn't sure what to expect. This Villa massage is their special one- mix between thai, deep massage and Swedish with hot stones. It was incredible and my body feels great. My husband and I came from out of town for a wedding and decided to get a couples' massage on our trip. I found the Thai Villa Spa on Yelp and because of all the good reviews decided to book it. We were not disappointed! We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable right from the beginning. We got a 1 hour deep tissue massage, focusing on specific problem areas, but the massage was a full-body. I've been to other places where they ONLY focus on your problem areas and not anything else. This was just so wonderful. It was the best massage I've ever had. We had Tammy and Jack work on us, and they were so calming, thorough, and you could tell that they genuinely wanted us to feel good in our bodies; it didn't feel like they were just 'doing their jobs.' I felt that they went so above and beyond, and that energy came through in the massage. If we ever come back to Newton, we are definitely stopping in again -- or we might come to Newton specifically so we can experience this wonderful place again! I highly recommend. read more
