I enjoy the Thai curry dishes. They are always fresh, fast, and spicy hot. Don't forget to try the special Priik Nam Pla, extra yummmy! Basic dinner style. They do get busy though, of course, because others know it's good too!

Located at 81st and Lewis in Tge Plaza Shopping Center is this hidden gem. Not many businesses are left in this center, but Thai Village is serving up some great food. I ordered Pad Thai with pork. My order came out in about 10 minutes. This was a dinner portion and was more than enough for dinner tonight and a lunch or di ner tomorrow. The food was served steaming hot and the flavors were amazing. I love Pad Thai and this was some among the best I've had in Tulsa. I don't make it to this side of town very often, but would definitely come back and would suggest it to friends as well.

How are they so fast? Literally, the table next to me placed their order. The waitress went back to give the tab to the kitchen. Took my order, went back to kitchen and brought the spring rolls to the other table. Went back to the kitchen and brought fried rice and pad noodle. How are they faster than McDonald's? The stir fried dishes and fried dishes come out ridiculously quick at this restaurant that my jaw is still on the floor as I am writing this review. My spicy eggplant dish came out as quickly as a Big Mac. Because if this, I feel like the stir fry and fried dishes are not the highlight here. Not enough eggplant in a dish called spicy eggplant, but has a lot of other stuffs. The sauce is not quite there and doesn't make the dish flavorful enough. The salad took almost twice as long for them to make. You could actually see why, more intricate, especially the apple salad. I actually like it better than the main dish and I fell like the salad is actually the highlight at this place.

For being within walking distance of ORU, Thai Village is a small and comfortable spot. I ate here a couple of times and wish I could do it again. The food is very tasty, and service is quick. Highly recommend the Thai Curry Noodle. They also provided a number system as a level of spice, which I found to be very helpful.

Thai Village is now our go to Thai place in South Tulsa / Jenks area. First and foremost, their Thai dishes are pretty decent. Spices and spiciness are balanced. Not overly salty, good news for folks who watch their sodium intake. The cook time varies but they work fast and hard. Many of the patrons seem to be repeated customers. This can tell a lot about a restaurant. The fried rice is 8/10. Seasoning and the cook temperature can be improved. TomKa is 9/10, definitely worth to come back for. Papaya Salad - 6/10, a little disappointed, quite blend. Couldn't bring out the spirit of a Thai dish. I look forward to see if they can improve the favor of the dishes in the future.

Sit down your ass down, order, eat, then get the hell out! Enjoyable, Excellent, Extraordinary! Description of the food in order: Tom Yum, Satay, and Gang Keaw Warn (Green Curry) What stood out about the Tom Yum was the spices. I am sure there were some traditional herbs and spices that I have never had before. It was a very flavorful soup loaded with beef. Enjoyable! The Satay was a generous serving of skewered, curry flavored chicken and a delicious peanut-based dipping sauce. Excellent! And finally, the Green Curry. Wow! My wife said she could drink a glass of the broth with a straw! Extraordinary! I'm thinking that the lady working the floor was an owner. She was handling the dining area by herself! She was a no fun, get'r done worker. No lost movement in her effort and no time wasted. I could see how her fast, sufficient, effective service could be misconstrued as less than amiable. Maybe a little terse. Possibly, that accounts for some reviewer's reference to service. It does make you feel a little rushed and hurried when you eat here. Kind of like eat and get out! Ignore it, the service is good! The menu is extensive. Great lunch options. Some of the best Thai food we have had in Tulsa! Recommended!

Very good! Excited to explore the menu more! Satay and pad Thai have been my favorite so far. The peanut sauce that comes with the satay is to die for!!! Dishes come out piping hot (temperature wise) which is nice. When it comes to spice/heat level, beware that if you have no spice/heat tolerance than even mild will be a bit too hot! I have to order no spice at all Pad Thai 10/10 Satay 10/10 Seafood combination 7/10 (hardly any shrimp) Drunken noodles 8/10 Sweet and sour chicken 7/10 (very sweet)

Loved this place!! Just driving by 81 & Lewis and decided to try it. Small but packed at lunch and w good reason! First, they had outdoor seating and it was quite nice plus I was by myself, yay;). I had fresh spring rolls w shrimp and awesome peanut sauce which I loved. Then I feasted on delicious chicken pad Thai dish. Thought I'd take home for seconds but...SO good and I ate almost all of it! Highly recommend and so glad I happened upon this jewel of Thai food restaurant. I'll be back!

the fresh spring rolls were good, however, the noodles lacked a freshness and bite to them. the sauce was pretty good, however, they seem to dump so much on the noodles, it makes them taste incredibly soggy. i would like to try it again because everyone seems to love it. service is exactly as previous yelpers have described, straight forward and courteous. this is a smaller establishment with maybe 10-12 tables inside and a couple outside for those nice, summer days. read more

Our friends introduced us to Thai Village after always eating Thai at another well-known local establishment. I'm glad they did! Thai Village delivered exceptional food at a great price point. Our kids got the sesame chicken kids meals and they loved their food. My wife and I ordered Pad Thai and Thai Curry Noodles and they were both delicious. The curry here is the best I've had. The pad Thai was exceptional as well. We'll definitely be coming back when we want Thai again. read more

Very good. I was traveling home and on my layover the girl that answered was nice and asked when I'd like my order to be ready and didn't put it in till about an hour after I ordered so it was ready and fresh when it could be picked up. Friendly service and delicious, authentic food. Service is quick and efficient. The food comes out piping hot and is always spot on. The only thing I haven't been happy with is the fresh rolls, they definitely could have more substantial amount of the protein filling, it's mostly lettuce, but other than that everything is fantastic! Thai Village is close to work so we go frequently. read more

I first tried Thai Village when someone brought it to their house for takeout. I never remember the name but I remember that they said it's that place over by ORU So years later when I was over by ORU and hungry my fiance and I found this place and were happy to find that it was still good. We have been back a couple of times since then and I would have told you a couple of years ago that I didn't like hurry. This place changed my mind completely on that and it's just as good if not better the next day when you warm it up at work. But just know that the zero level is still a little spicy so don't be a hero and try to go medium! read more

One of my regular places to have a quick, delicious, inexpensive lunch. I see many of the same folks here at lunch and several regulars that the owners know by name. Safe to say, it's a great place to eat. My most coveted menu item is Penang Curry. While you can choose your level of spice, I always go to the top of the heat level, Thai hot. It's a very well balanced curry that is served with a big bowl of white rice. I never have leftovers and I have never left hungry. If you're looking for something even more standard for thai, their Pad Thai is very good and even more filling. With whatever you choose to enjoy, you can't go wrong with Thai Village. read more

Tried their new menu. It was rewritten to be easier to navigate and actually divided into lunch and dinner sections as well as by entree type. The food was fantastic as always. It's always a treat to go a place where the employees clearly love every moment of being there. read more

First experience would have been a 5 star. I ordered the Peanut Curry level3 it was excellent. However, My next visit I ordered it again it was not the same more watery. Third Visit Ordered again hoping for the same experience as the first, This time even worse..watery, and the veggies were old. Well we've found our favorite close Thai spot for takeout! Love their potato/yellow curry. Husband got the Thai noodles and raved. Also the crab appetizer doesn't look like Rangoon normally looks but it's DELICIOUS. We are happy to have found the place. New-ish to Tulsa and I'd semi given up on Thai. NO MORE! I forgot how much I loved this place until I got some take out tonight. It was just pad Thai and just satay chicken but damn if it's not one of the best - I'd not the best - I've had in a long time. I can't have spice at the moment and that didn't matter - they were fine with making mine sans spice :) and it tasted as if my own grandmother made it - if she made Thai food (my grandmother didn't really spice things up but I'd do anything for her food again). They give you so much that you can eat two meals and I absolutely will savor each bite! If you're a mild person like me don't worry at all, Thai village is for you too! read more

Pros: My boyfriend loves this place and we come here any time he's in town. He's more adventurous than I am and enjoys a variety of items on their menu. His favorite is the pad ped (can't remember how to spell it). I stick with the pad thai. Which tastes good, so I never have to deviate from it. The owners are really nice. Close to my home. In a shopping complex with plenty of parking. They accept all credit cards. Their to-go service is fast and easy. Cons: Can't really think of any. read more

I really enjoyed this little restaurant!! A friend recommended we go here for lunch as it's her favorite Thai restaurant and restaurant in general in her area. And I was not disappointed! Based on her recommendation I tried the green Curry. I got pork. And it was delicious!! So yummy!!! The service was excellent even around their busy lunch time. First timer. I ordered pad thai because for me pad thai is the benchmark of any thai restaurant. I found that the pad thai was totally different that other thai restaurants'; it was too sweet with a taste of orange, it looked orange-ish, taste of peanut was non existence, and it was so soggy. There were a lot of pan and wok banging coming from the kitchen! I found it weird that the restaurant put a notice for credit card customers who wanted to put tips on the card to specify the amount of the tips before the card was swiped. Ugh... It's the only way to accurately describe Thai Village. I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant where EVERYTHING was worth the one-star rating. Spring Rolls: They have to be frozen. I have had far too many spring rolls to not be able to tell some frozen spring rolls. Almost no crispiness at all and the insides tasted miserable as well. It was kind of depressing. Pad Ka Pao: I like spicy. I love spicy. It's an unhealthy habit that I am sure I will suffer for in the future. Whatever pain I'm suffering from will not be due to this food though. I order the hot, their highest level, and my girlfriend who is a normal person when it comes to spice found it disappointing. Add onto that there was almost no flavor in the meal itself. It was just a big disappointment, to be honest. On top of that, I wonder if they got complaints about not serving enough rice with their dishes because I've had bowls of ramen smaller than the bowl of white rice they served me. Service: Okay, this might get three stars? It was the definition of A-OK. Except that our original waitress peaced out after taking our orders and was replaced with a different person. Who schedules a waitress to go home an hour before you close? Or did they just let her go home while she had just sat a table? read more

The Thai food here doesn't seem authentic. It is the Americanized version of Thai food. Price is okay. Ambience is typical of a low end Asian restaurant. Would I go there again, probably not. I would drive 5 more miles to Lanna Thai. read more

One of the most unique parts of the visit was learning that the person seated at the table next to us was the previous owner. She is still a regular customer, and her photo is proudly displayed on the wall in the restaurant. That says a lot about the history, loyalty, and character of this place. I also accidentally left my credit card behind and did not realize it until about an hour and a half later. I called the restaurant, and the management immediately helped resolve the issue. They kindly arranged to mail it to my home in Los Angeles, and I have now received it safely. That level of honesty and customer care is rare. A special thank you to the management for handling everything so professionally, and to Heather for her kindness, attentiveness, and outstanding service. Hands down, this place serves the best Thai food! The owners are super accommodating, and the atmosphere is always warm and inviting. One thing to keep in mind: their dishes can range from not spicy at all to extremely Thai hot, so be sure to specify your desired level. I tend to play it safe with mild, but I wholeheartedly recommend this spot to anyone in search of authentic Thai cuisine. read more

Best Thai food in the area and the service is great, the prices are also great. Love that they have several degrees of spicy; no spice, mild, medium, hot and Thai hot.
