This place is kinda a hidden gem? I have had the Cream cheese which are INSANELY good absolutely phenomenal I could eat 100 of these. The shrimp fried rice is SUPER delicious and plentiful. Since covid I have had to think of what is good for eating to go and taking home and this is my go to food. The pad Thai is Also extremely good. I would suggest sitting in and eating that though! I never remember the name but I remember that they said it's that place over by ORU So years later when I was over by ORU and hungry my fiance and I found this place and were happy to find that it was still good. We have been back a couple of times since then and I would have told you a couple of years ago that I didn't like hurry. This place changed my mind completely on that and it's just as good if not better the next day when you warm it up at work. Safe to say, it's a great place to eat. My most coveted menu item is Penang Curry. While you can choose your level of spice, I always go to the top of the heat level, Thai hot. It's a very well balanced curry that is served with a big bowl of white rice. I never have leftovers and I have never left hungry. I forgot how much I loved this place until I got some take out tonight. It was just pad Thai and just satay chicken but damn if it's not one of the best - I'd not the best - I've had in a long time. I can't have spice at the moment and that didn't matter - they were fine with making mine sans spice :) and it tasted as if my own grandmother made it - if she made Thai food (my grandmother didn't really spice things up but I'd do anything for her food again). I found that the pad thai was totally different that other thai restaurants'; it was too sweet with a taste of orange, it looked orange-ish, taste of peanut was non existence, and it was so soggy. There were a lot of pan and wok banging coming from the kitchen! I found it weird that the restaurant put a notice for credit card customers who wanted to put tips on the card to specify the amount of the tips before the card was swiped. Ugh... It's the only way to accurately describe Thai Village. I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant where EVERYTHING was worth the one-star rating. Spring Rolls: They have to be frozen. I have had far too many spring rolls to not be able to tell some frozen spring rolls. Almost no crispiness at all and the insides tasted miserable as well. It was kind of depressing. Pad Ka Pao: I like spicy. I love spicy. It's an unhealthy habit that I am sure I will suffer for in the future. Whatever pain I'm suffering from will not be due to this food though. I order the hot, their highest level, and my girlfriend who is a normal person when it comes to spice found it disappointing. Add onto that there was almost no flavor in the meal itself. It was just a big disappointment, to be honest. On top of that, I wonder if they got complaints about not serving enough rice with their dishes because I've had bowls of ramen smaller than the bowl of white rice they served me. Service: Okay, this might get three stars? It was the definition of A-OK. Except that our original waitress peaced out after taking our orders and was replaced with a different person.
