So, here's what happened: Keo has this happy hour deal, but the catch is you have to sit at the bar to get it. So, four of us walked in and saw that the bar was pretty crowded, but there were two empty seats--one on each side of a couple already seated there. Then, that couple decided to move outside to the patio but left their stuff on the bar seats, kind of reserving them, I guess. I talked to the lady behind the bar, who was also serving, about this whole situation. Unfortunately, she didn't do anything about it. So, for about 20 minutes, those two bar seats were technically taken by the couple sitting outside, leaving us unable to take advantage of the happy hour deal. Honestly, it's just bad manners on the couple's part and not great customer service from Keo to let them essentially claim four seats when they were only using two--outside, no less! At the very least, Keo could have offered us the happy hour pricing at our table since those two outside were basically holding onto their bar seats without actually using them. This isn't the kind of service I expect, and my future visits to Keo will definitely be less frequent because of this experience. read more

I just have to say I'm seriously obsessed with the fresh spring rolls. I have had others and the rice wrappers can be thick and gummy especially at the ends. That's not the case here. The rolls are packed with delightful ingredients and when you take that first bite your taste buds yell, "FRESH DELICIOUSNESS!" I eat mine with the sweet chili sauce instead of the peanut sauce due to an allergy. Mmmm, mmmm. I would probably choose the sweet chili sauce if I didn't have an allergy because it's perfect with the spring rolls. I have tried the Malaysian Fried Rice and the Pad Thai - w/out peanuts and both have a great flavor. I just can't go and not order the Fresh Spring Rolls. I've actually started getting 2 orders and bringing one home! I do have to order gluten free and I have food allergies and have never had any kind of an issue here. They are knowledgeable about it all and will answer your questions. (I've never been brave enough to order Pad Thai anywhere else...I would do it here again!) read more

I was on the hunt for some good Asian cuisine while visiting Tulsa and came across Keo... one of the best Asian meals I've ever had. I visited around 5:30p on a Wednesday so it was a tad busy. Parking is valet in the back but plenty of street parking. The service and ambiance were great, followed by my delicious hot and fresh dish. Let me start by saying we arrived at about 5pm on a Saturday. Upon arrival, we were the only table. The bartender greeted us, but we had to wait for a menu to be brought. I had to pull up the website to see the drink menu selection. We had to ask for our check at the end of the meal because no one was around to check on us. The bathrooms were...unpleasant. The women's bathroom was clogged with so much toilet paper that I felt it was probably better to use the men's room rather than risk a flooded bathroom. The men's bathroom had stains all over the walls, smelled horrible, and had overflowing trash. The only reason for the 3 stars is because the food was quite good. I really enjoyed the flavors and the woman who served our food was very friendly. I will try again, and hopefully have a better experience, only because of the food. read more

Can't go wrong with Keō. The Mee Siam is delicious, and the street skewers are amazing. We enjoy both the beef and chicken skewers. We have been getting take out mostly, but I've always enjoyed the decor and atmosphere at Keō. I wasn't a fan of the short rib, but the yellow curry is great. VERY small portions. Not authentic. Only brought 2 spring rolls. I was dining with another person so we only got one each. The peanut sauce was thick and off in flavor. Thai teas were very watered down however i told them and they corrected it. They barely gave us any meat with our entres so i dont feel like this place is worth the money and we had a not so nice experience. I wouldn't recommend this place. Definitely Asian infusion! Has everything from pho, ramen, to Korean short ribs, just no chop sticks. So far everything I have tried has been super tasty. Has a great atmosphere as well. Been here many times, service and food is always amazing. My favorite is always the wagyu burger it's a great combo of savory and a little spice and I've never had taro fries before but theirs are the best. My husband got the glazed tuna, which was overcooked and not well seasoned. I'll be fair. While we know this isn't cooked by southeast Asians, it could have definitely been better. I'll start off with the service. They did an okay job, they greeted me and seated me. The waiter then came right over and asked me what I wanted drink. I just put my order all together with my drink since I knew what I wanted. Then he forgot my drink, another waiter noticed it and asked if I wanted a drink. They brought over my drink afterwards. I ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls and Pho. The spring rolls were decent for 7.00. Could have used more meat like the actual vietnamese restaurant but I will give them a 7 out of 10 for taste, price and portion. The pho is the disappointment. For 14.00 you get a small bowl with 3 small stripes of meat in it. The broth taste like pre packaged powder seasoning, similar to the Ramen noodle seasoning. They definitely used pre packaged seasoning to make the Pho. There was a lack of authentic taste to it As well as that after taste with pre packaged ramen noodle seasoning. Overall if this is the closest place to you for Vietnamese food, I would order something different from their menu. If you want authentic Vietnamese food, get it from an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. For their Pho and Spring rolls, I would say pass the next time around especially for 24.00. That is a high amount of money for the portion and instant noodle taste. This rating also reflects the pricing. read more

Upscale and flavorful is how I would describe this Brookside neighborhood restaurant. Everyone working there is very friendly. Pleasent surprise, upon being seated complimentary edamame with seasoning on the pods. I didn't think I like edamame until now. I ate the small bowl with my draft Sapporo beer, delightful. Having just discovered Tom Yum soup I was anxious to try theirs. They only serve a very large size, because it is individually prepared. Once I learned that I could take home the portion I couldn't finish. I had to order. WOW! Lots of big chunks of veggies, mushrooms and chicken (you choose the protein)- and the flavor was outstanding. Similar, yet different than the other restaurant. For my main course I ordered the sushi grade Ahi Tuna on top of a salad. Again, WOW and so flavorful. Ahi was definitely sushi grade. I was surprised that I could finish it, but it was soooooo good I just couldn't stop. The portions were perfect so I was full. But not unpleasantly stuffed. I never order dessert.....but, of course, after enjoying everything and discovering so many delightful combinations, I ordered the banana, won ton, ice cream drizzled with chocolate and caramel dessert. After a long day at the Renaissance Festival we needed a hearty dinner. The edamame that came out immediately was deliciously seasoned and our masked server delightful. Their jasmine tea was refreshing and the patio quite well appointed considering you are essentially in a parking lot of the strip mall. My portion of Pad Thai was quite large and spice level two was perfect. Everyone's food came out quickly and the cost was spot on for what we received. The server seemed to get in the weeds in the end. However, with everyone struggling to re-staff it's understandable. Second time here, and we will be back! read more

Do NOT waste your time here. I haven't ever left a restaurant review, negative or positive, but I had a very poor experience here. Our server needed more support from this establishment than he received, and I felt bad for him. Our table had to wait FOREVER for our bills after we ate, at least 30-45 minutes. I have been to several restaurants with this size of a group, and it really does not have to be that complicated. There wasn't even a huge amount of people in the restaurant, which would have made the situation a little more understandable. If I'm going to a nice restaurant in this part of town, I shouldn't have to wait so long to leave. Our whole party was so tired and upset by the time we finally got to pay for our food. Really really really good. Gluten-free options are CLEARLY marked on the menu, and there's lots of them. I got my all-time favorite Vietnamese dish, bánh xèo, a crepe made with rice flour, coconut milk and turmeric. The crepe was a bit TOO thin, and not very crispy, and I was really missing the trademark mint and basil to eat with it. So, it is possible that this is more Americanized, and that's fine. I would absolutely eat it again, but was really missing the fresh herbs I love so much about Vietnamese food. My partner's beef stir fry was great, came out piping hot (which he is all about) and was GENEROUS on the meat. If you like Asian food but also want to play it safe in a nice surrounding with excellent service and ambiance, this is the place for you. And, if you are gluten free or vegetarian, it's super easy to navigate the menu, and that earns them repeat business for me. read more

They have a good wine menu and I got a lovely glass of a Cotes de Rhône for $9.00 which is a score. They brought me out gratis edamame with a nice light seasoning with just a hint of heat. Yum! I ordered the Pad Thai. After I left them know I was vegan they said there was a slightly different sauce. I don't know what their regular Pad Thai sauce is like but this was excellent. They used bigger noodles than normal for Pad Thai but this could be because they are an Asian fusion restaurant, but whatever! It was tasty. Tasty enough that when I was on my way home I stopped and ate my leftovers for dinner. So why not a 5 star. Well, the prices for one. Or was too pricey for lunch Tofu Pad Thai. Not enough options. We've been coming to Keo for years but the most recent experience was more than disappointing. The service was very disorganized and the drinks took an incredibly long time to bring out. The food was decent. Very overpriced and could get better at a less expensive and more authentic location. One of the parties ordered the "beef short rib" and instead of a flavorful fall off the bone beef that was anticipated, we were given a small dry spare rib. The mislabeling on the menu was extremely disappointing and would not order this again. The only thing worth ordering here is the Tom ka. I have yet to have one as good as here. Yum yum YUM! I love love asian food and it's hard to find aam authentic place in Tulsa.... Keo is one of the few Asian restaurants that I will continue to go to! We've visited Keo on Peoria a few times over the years and have almost always found it to be good. But on our last trip in, the place felt like it wasn't being managed properly at all. The general attitude seemed very casual. The service wasn't very good (we had to re-order because the kitchen printer was "broken") and neither was the food. The red curry udon was way too spicy (no indication of that on the menu) and I didn't enjoy it at all. Maybe I caught this place on a bad night? I hope so.
