This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and unfortunately, it was not a great experience. I ordered the shrimp fried rice, and while transferring it to another plate, I found a long black hair buried deep inside the rice. The waitress watched me pull it out and took the hair, but never came back to address the issue. After waiting, I had to call another employee over and ask if they were going to replace the fried rice. Her response and attitude made me feel like I was expected to just eat it anyway. They did make a new order, but when the bill came, I was told the original fried rice was removed from the bill and I would have to pay for the replacement. In my opinion, I should not have been charged for a dish that had a hair in it in the first place, especially since I was already finished with my meal and ready to leave when the replacement arrived. Customer service was disappointing. The staff seemed irritated when I asked questions about the menu, even though it was my first visit. Overall, the food was average at best. Had a great meal here on a quiet night. Thai Way isn't a big spot, but has a decent ambience compared to the more spartan Thai places you often see. Service was very good and quick. Had the Pad Kra Prow, and it was simply outstanding, with a generous portion and fantastic taste (and some nice heat). Pad Thai and curry dishes were also well received at our table. This is the FIRST great Pad Thai, fried rice with pork and spring rolls I've had in Houston that blew me away. Even when we order it through DoorDash it arrives with all flavors intact. This place is amazing. We were driving down hwy 6 and found this gem on a whim. Service was nice, our food came out in an orderly time. We ordered their spring rolls, coconut shrimp, and kao soy. All three dishes were amazing but by far my favorite was the kao soy. Everything from the curry to the noodles was amazingly delicious. I want to come back and try more! I'm absolutely obsessed with this restaurant! My mom and I discovered Thai Way 6 last month and have been there three times since. I always order the Khao Soi with chicken and she always gets the pineapple fried rice. And of course we get mango sticky rice for dessert. The sweetness and creaminess of the rice balances the brightness of the mango just right and the mango is always perfectly ripe. My second favorite Thai dish is pad woon sen so I might order that next time, to shake things up a bit. Can't wait to come again! read more

We love coming here! I usually get the Pra Ram Peanut sauce and Thai tea. They do have spicy levels on their dishes and I will say it's very spicy for me at a 3. Found this spot randomly on YELP! Its family owned and the food and service is absolutely spectacular!! I had the Pad Kee Mao with shrimp and I like it pretty spicy. It was perfect! My husband had the pineapple chicken fried rice. This location is small, quiet and tucked off so you may or may not see it if you're not looking for it. My oh my, I think I have found one of the best Thai restaurants in Houston! My friend wanted to check this place out as it was recommended to him. I was happy to oblige as Thai food is one of my favorites! We ordered yellow curry, tom yum, pad thai, and eggplant salad along with the sticky rice and mango. Wow! Everything was so tasty and flavorful! I really enjoyed the yellow curry! I loved how chunky it was loaded with veg and meat unlike other places. The eggplant salad was a nice surprise because I'm not a huge fan of eggplant, but this was really tasty. I love the little spice rack caddy to kick up the heat level of your dishes. Stopped in Saturday night after looking up Thai Food restaurants near me and I can say I was pleasantly surprised. They weren't too busy besides a family and two couples it was just me and my sister. The waitresses were very nice. The decor inside is very cute. My sister and I both had their drunken noodles, the flavor was really good. The noodles were a tad bit too soft though. My cousin had recommended this place to me when he was visiting from out of town. So I had to check it out. It's located in the same parking lot as Kroger and the former Studio Movie Grill. Parking is a non-issue and makes this place a great visit if you are in the area. I asked if the food is spicy so I can could order either mild or medium and was told that it was spicy so went with mild. I could've easily handled the medium because I was adding all the spicy things that they had to offer on the table. I started wit the tom yum soup with chicken. Very fragrant and flavorful. Got the chicken in yellow curry which comes with white rice. While this had a balanced flavor profile, I did wish that it was a bit spicier. The other dishes that we had were the pad thai and the eggplant salad. Because I always have the papaya salad, I decided to switch things up with the eggplant salad. Once again, it was very mild. Small little mom and pop restaurant tucked away in a strip center off of highway 6 and west road. Always the best! But this place warrants it. Came here by accident, actually. We were going to try a different noodle house but they were close for some reason. Saw them online and thought with a catchy name like this, they are either amazing or just terrible. Had the drunken noodles. "medium". I have a decent heat tolerance but the first one I got would have thinned the thickest of oil based paints. Some folks like that but I could handle the heat. She graciously offered to remake mine for me, mild. She's a saint. I would have died right there most likely had I finished the medium. There were also an order of pad Thai, which honestly was one of the best flavor ones I've eaten. Ever. Now I haven't been to Thailand yet I'm going to assume they taste like theirs. Delicious. Great flavors all around. Also got the shrimp summer rolls. Fresh, the peanut sauce was delicious, and I could have crushed all 6. It's very safe to say I would come back here. And I will. I've been twice before but only for takeout. The service is good and the food is delicious: the roti dip and yellow curry are so good. I also love the finger shrimp. The lunch specials are a great deal at under 13$ for a curry with rice or a soup. Way better than fast food and it's a big portion. A group of friends and I went during the lunch time. It is a cute and clean place. The employees were really nice and accommodating to multiple different bills. The table orders a few appetizers and they were pretty good. We had summer rolls, edamame, cheese wontons, roti, and Tom ka soup. The salad that came with it was very good - the dressing reminded me of the salad at Benihana (which is a good thing!). I took a bit of a break since my last visit was underwhelming. Decided to try again and my experience was worse if that's even possible. Everything lacked flavor. Chicken satay had little to no flavor, they looked and tasted like some Tyson chicken strips from the frozen food aisle in the grocery store, thankfully the peanut sauce has improved. My fried rice was once again bland and I had to add Maggi seasoning again to give it flavor, my Pad Thai had an odd cucumber flavor so I don't know what that's about. I barely saw any chicken but tons of huge tofu chunks. I've given this place multiple chances, maybe I have different taste buds than most. I'm accustomed to a wide variety of great Thai in the Pacific NW part of the country and it's very hard to find in Houston. The place was very clean and had a very nice decor. we had just gotten there before the lunch rush so we were sat instantly. Everyone there was very nice and friendly. it did not take very long for the food to come out and it came out nice and hot. Portions were a good size and we we unable to finish them so we took them to go however I could not turn down the mango sticky rice and had to try it. We came here during lunch and ordered Pad Kee Mao and Pad Thai from their lunch menu. These came with a lunch salad that had a mango drizzle, which were delicious. One of the owners who served us mentioned that they were experimenting with the menu and were looking for feedback. She was very nice and kept checking on us throughout the meal. The interior of the restaurant was very nice, modern and clean, with a wall full of artwork depicting various cities around the world and their distances from the restaurant, topping off with Bangkok that was 7,000 miles away.
