    Kao Soy

This place is amazing. We were driving down hwy 6 and found this gem on a whim. Service was nice, our food came out in an orderly time. We ordered their spring rolls, coconut shrimp, and kao soy. All three dishes were amazing but by far my favorite was the kao soy. Everything from the curry to the noodles was amazingly delicious. I want to come back and try more! Highly recommend for some great thai food.

I'm absolutely obsessed with this restaurant! My mom and I discovered Thai Way 6 last month and have been there three times since. I always order the Khao Soi with chicken and she always gets the pineapple fried rice. And of course we get mango sticky rice for dessert. The sweetness and creaminess of the rice balances the brightness of the mango just right and the mango is always perfectly ripe. My second favorite Thai dish is pad woon sen so I might order that next time, to shake things up a bit. Can't wait to come again!

We love coming here! I usually get the Pra Ram Peanut sauce and Thai tea. They do have spicy levels on their dishes and I will say it's very spicy for me at a 3. Plus their portions are a great size where I can have a second meal at home with my dish. It's great service and nice atmosphere. I love the license plates on the wall.

Found this spot randomly on YELP! Its family owned and the food and service is absolutely spectacular!! I had the Pad Kee Mao with shrimp and I like it pretty spicy. It was perfect! My husband had the pineapple chicken fried rice. This location is small, quiet and tucked off so you may or may not see it if you're not looking for it. During lunch, your meal comes with a salad and of course the entree. We also had the chicken curry puffs as an appetizer! YUM!! I can see this place quickly becoming one of my favorites!! I can't wait to go back!!

The music is relaxing, the food is delicious and chef Charley will even come out to say hello. Nothing better than meeting the person that cooked your food. A no-brainer for my desire for Thai food, so authentic.

Delicious Thai restaurant! Friendly staff. Small restaurant with about 10 tables. The food came out hot and freshly prepared. I could've ordered more spicy options however it was still a yummy meal. I'd recommend and I look forward to going back.

My oh my, I think I have found one of the best Thai restaurants in Houston! My friend wanted to check this place out as it was recommended to him. I was happy to oblige as Thai food is one of my favorites! We ordered yellow curry, tom yum, pad thai, and eggplant salad along with the sticky rice and mango. Wow! Everything was so tasty and flavorful! I really enjoyed the yellow curry! I loved how chunky it was loaded with veg and meat unlike other places. The eggplant salad was a nice surprise because I'm not a huge fan of eggplant, but this was really tasty. I love the little spice rack caddy to kick up the heat level of your dishes. The mango sticky rice was so so. The mango was sour and not tasty. I don't think it was in season at the time so I'll let it slide.

I stopped by this place before and it wasnt too bad. My food was a tad salty but it wasnt terrible. I went today for lunch and there was a lunch rush. I was seated and had to ask for the lunch menu. After waiting over 30 mins for my food, i told them to just pack it to go. I ordered beef panang. The beef was not tender at all. Definitely not worth paying extra for. The sauce was all over the place and the rice was mushy.

4.5/5 stars I love Thai Way 6 for their pad see ew! It's so flavorful and the texture of the noodles is perfect. I go back and forth between the medium and hot spice level depending on how I'm feeling. Their appetizers are also pretty good. I like the coconut shrimp. The pad thai is just ok. Service is good and fast.

Everything we got was delicious! We had amazing service, food was served promptly and the restaurant decor makes you feel like you're in Thailand despite all the US license plates on the walls. These dishes are a must; Roti Dip appetizer, Thai Basil with chicken, yellow curry, Tom Yum soup, and fried chicken wings. Highly recommended!!!!

Drunken Noodles / Pad Kee Mao

Stopped in Saturday night after looking up Thai Food restaurants near me and I can say I was pleasantly surprised. They weren't too busy besides a family and two couples it was just me and my sister. The waitresses were very nice. The decor inside is very cute. My sister and I both had their drunken noodles, the flavor was really good. The noodles were a tad bit too soft though. For dessert we had the mango sticky rice, it was so good and not too sweet. I would definitely recommend stopping in for some Thai food.

My cousin had recommended this place to me when he was visiting from out of town. So I had to check it out. It's located in the same parking lot as Kroger and the former Studio Movie Grill. Parking is a non-issue and makes this place a great visit if you are in the area. I asked if the food is spicy so I can could order either mild or medium and was told that it was spicy so went with mild. I could've easily handled the medium because I was adding all the spicy things that they had to offer on the table. I started wit the tom yum soup with chicken. Very fragrant and flavorful. Got the chicken in yellow curry which comes with white rice. While this had a balanced flavor profile, I did wish that it was a bit spicier. The other dishes that we had were the pad thai and the eggplant salad. Because I always have the papaya salad, I decided to switch things up with the eggplant salad. Once again, it was very mild. The pad thai was the star of the show. I think I could have eaten the whole thing if the portions weren't so massive. Rounding up to four stars because the portions are massive.

All the ingredients were chopped fresh and plentiful. The fruit and nuts we added to the salads pushed them over the top. I added chipotle shrimp, chicken and turkey to my husbands salad. My salad had chipotle shrimp, pesto chicken and turkey. Toppings included cucumber, tomatoes, broccoli, mushrooms, bean sprouts, corn, olives, eggs, mixed and feta cheese, apples, grapes, strawberry and pineapple. As if that wasn't enough I added pasta and bacon bits. Good thing it wasn't sold by the pound. The buttermilk ranch and chipotle dressings are my faves. Actually all of their dressing is good. I wish they still sold them by the bottle. I cannot find a great bottled dressing for me. Also get the pita chips on the side so they stay crunchy. They had soup but I didn't get any. Two salads and two cookies came out to 53.00 but will be about 3 meals for my husband and possibly 4 for me. This is a great deal. We ate the salads twice yesterday and still have enough leftover for dinner today. The trick is to not put the dressing on the whole salad so it stays crispy.

They introduced me to the place, and I must say, the salad I ordered was absolutely delicious. I went with the Shrimp and Avocado Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette, and every ingredient was fresh and well balanced. No complaints on quality, taste, or price, especially with the teacher discount, it was worth every penny. Customer service was decent. The servers were friendly and welcoming, and the cashier who took my order was very helpful in explaining the menu since I was a first-timer. They do offer self-ordering kiosks, but the restaurant was so crowded that even those had long lines, making them less useful during a busy lunch rush. Because of how packed it was, the servers were making small mistakes with orders. While my meal came out just fine, two of my coworkers received the wrong items. They didn't complain and just kept what they were given, but it was frustrating considering how long we had already waited in line and then at the table for our food. Waiting is one thing, but getting the wrong order can make the experience less enjoyable. Food Ratings: Shrimp and Avocado Salad - 5/5 Cobb Salad - 5/5 (per my coworker) Turkey and Swiss Sandwich - 4/5 (per my coworker) Turkey Avocado Sandwich - 4/5 (per my coworker) Chicken Tortilla Soup - 4/5 (a little spicy, per my coworker) Ambiance - 2/5 (very noisy and elbow-to-elbow crowded) Overall, this spot is not bad at all. The food is excellent, and the service is okay, not amazing, but not rude either. I came during peak weekday lunch hours, so the crowd might have had a lot to do with the minor mistakes and long wait times. For the food alone, I would definitely recommend giving it a try, though I'd suggest visiting at a less busy time if you can. I look forward to coming back to try their sandwiches and soups; my coworkers' meals looked pretty tasty.
