I've been wanting to try Lemon Grass for awhile and am glad I did. The employees were very attentive. The inside was nice, nothing fancy but comfy. There's a large parking lot, but depending when you go you might have to park pretty far. There's a wing place right next to it that tends to be packed. We started with the Spring Rolls and Basil Rolls, both were very good! The Thai iced tea was perfect. I got pad see u with tofu. There was a good amount of broccoli and tofu, which was perfectly crispy. The sauce was a little too salty for me but I still enjoyed it. It was two meals' worth for me. My parents both got spicy noodles, one with tofu and one chicken, and with different spice levels. They both enjoyed their dishes and had leftovers for another meal. They said it reminded them of "drunken noodles" which they've gotten at other Thai restaurants. Overall it was a great value for the price and I plan to go back and try other dishes. read more

I've been coming to lemongrass now for almost a decade. The staff has remained the same. Very sweet and always checking on you .I believe their family members Ginger, and everybody there is just the sweetest. Lemon Grass Thai is still one of my favorite Thai restaurants after 25+ years! We enjoyed Chicken Coconut soup, Basil rolls, and Panama Curry, all gluten free. Other members of our party had Spicy Noodle, Beef Fried Rice, and a salad whose name I cannot remember. We arrived at 7:30pm on a Saturday night with every table full. Still we were seated relatively quickly and our server was phenomenal. The meal for six people, with Apps, was very reasonable. I am also a fan of the upgraded interior. This venue is located in the mini mall. It's located in a nook of the mini mall. There is plenty of parking. The venue is pretty large. Good for large groups. The restrooms were very clean. It's very calm with low music. You can hear your party speaking. They don't have fountain drinks. They have a small bar with limited beverages. There's also a widescreen television. The service was professional. The food came out quickly. We had Crispy Shrimp, Steamed Dumplings, Spicy Pork Noodles, Thai Spring Rolls, and Chicken Fried Rice. The food wasn't much to write home about. The flavors were just fair & food presentation was average. On an aside, the food heats up well as leftovers. The best thing was the Crispy Shrimp, next were the Spring Rolls and lastly the Chicken Fried Rice. The complimentary Fortune Cookies had positive fortunes. The second star is for the food as it was good, but sadly the service was abysmal. No courteousness. No accountability. No transparency. Our server arrived to our table frustrated and irritable. We asked if there was a kids menu for three children 10 and under and she responded with a simple "no". No further options or suggestions from regular menu. It took over an hour for our main courses to arrive. Half the party of nine had completely finished their meals before the rest got theirs. The explanation was that the kitchen ignored her instructions. Then, the server felt compelled to advise us to come again on a weekday for better service. No, thank you: we would rather go to one of the other hundreds of Thai cuisine restaurants in the metro ATL area with hopes of equally good food and better service on a weekend. Finally, the bill comes (and as the picture shows) good luck knowing what you were charged for when it finally did come out (see pic). Then, it made sense why we couldn't find her for 30 min while inquiring about the timing of our entrees, she knew she had a 20% gratuity regardless. Then there is a clear price discrepancy between several items on the bill and the menu price. Our server unapologetically explains that we missed the sign when we came in saying the menu prices are basically suggestions. Review based on 1 lunch meal on a Monday. I had the Beef Larb. How have I missed eating this!?! I am doing low carb so this ground beef salad served with cabbage leaves is ideal. Someone reviewed this place on Google with lower stars claiming they only had one Thai item and all other dishes were Chinese. Definitely not true. Meal was under $13.00 which is pretty right on. Now let's get straight to the real reason I'm typing this review from the moment you step inside you are greeted and seated ASAP. The host, waitstaff, and management all cater to you and your party everyone is treated like royalty!!! "OMG" the food is prepared fresh when you order they bring it out in a timely fashion where you don't feel rushed but not a long wait. The food tastes absolutely delicious no matter what you order well-seasoned, fresh ingredients, great portions ,true authentic Thai. This may be one of the best Thai restaurants I've experienced. From start to finish, we had a terrific experience. The spring rolls are made in house and you can taste the difference. There is a sweetness to them that I don't think I've experienced at any other location. The coconut chicken soup was soothing to my throat and creamy. It was served lukewarm so as not to be too hot. My curry fried rice was amazing! I loved the sweet spice and smoky flavor, the huge and copious shrimp, and the preparation of the tofu. The servers were personable, accommodations, and fast. Lemongrass is a consistently great Thai restaurant, with delicious food, excellent customer service, and a relaxed atmosphere. I've been coming here for years, and over time tried numerous solid dishes but keep coming back to the Panang curry with tofu. It's sweet, rich, and I get nice and spicy. I eat meat, but think tofu is the way to go with this dish. Also highly recommend the chicken coco soup and trying the cheese roll. It's also really great value for money, especially the Family Dinner. I used to live closer but still it's now a go to when stopping in the area. read more

He said the chicken coconut soup was surprisingly good. Well, to my surprise, his girlfriend surprised me with lunch last Friday, and I took myself this Friday. She told me about the lunch menu. So she brought be Basil Beef Fried Rice and asked for hot rice. The rice was truly spicy. I do like spicy but wasn't expecting it, so it caught me off guard. It was my lunch and dinner. Yesterday, I got the Chicken Fried Rice regular. And let me not forget that delectable spring roll w the peanut sauce. I am not a peanut fan. The roll was so good dipped in the sauce. I looked it up after the fact. Anyway, I will order extra spring rolls going forward. If you dine in, you get the soup as well Not on the to go orders. Both dishes were really good. Simple good food without a bunch of ingredients. I ate all my food. Again, for me, one entree is enough for lunch and dinner. They gube you a nice portion size. For $9.80, it is a good deal. The food was not bad. We asked for Thai hot and they made it decently spicy compared to most places that add no spice despite asking. They also brought a cup of chili on the side when I asked for some that gave me the kick I needed it. I have a big issue with the way they make their chicken though. The chicken is kind of dry and it kind of ruined my basil chicken dish. I usually always get the same dish at every Thai place and this was the only place where I did not enjoy it as much. First off, they have the best coconut soup. I challenge you to find a better one anywhere in the city. The staff there remembers your face every time. Not just one but 4/5 will remember you even if they did not serve you. The food is cooked to perfection. I have never had any dry chicken breast from them which is what you get from most thai restaurants. You can tell that they cook with love and they are there to ensure a great experience. When u want it spicy, they can bring the heat. When u want it mild they can make it that way as well. If you want authentic Thai this is without a doubt the place to go. I've had a multitude of things on their menu, everything you get is so flavorful and the servers are so honest about their opinions on certain dishes as well as very sweet. The portions are also large so whether you're a big eater or looking to share one entree could feed two and a baby. If you go you have to get their Thai tea, it'll forever make you sad to drink Thai tea anywhere else. Some entrees I recommend is their wonton soup, chicken coconut soup (don't get if you don't like coconut), cashew nut chicken, any of their curry's or pad Thais.
