The food is delicious, we ordered the Thai Fried Rice twice now and it's seasoned to perfection. The Fried Wontons and Shrimp are our favorites especially the dipping sauce. We've also tried the Chicken Satay with peanut sauce and that was tasty too! read more

I got Pad Thai once, and have been coming back regularly. Not too oily or greasy like other Pad Thai that makes me feel stuffy or bloated. Flavor was just right. It comes with decent amount of meat too. I also got their dessert, called The Bomb (Fried roti stuffed with banana and strawberry, and ice cream). Warm roti and ice cream was really good after the Pad Thai. It was also beautifully decorated with flowers, which was a nice touch I was gonna take a picture of the Bomb but I ate it too fast lol read more

I'm really bummed to not be able to give a better rating to Thailicious!?! So I was wanting Asian food but, my 1st 2 options were closed cuz it was a Monday. So I went to yelp and Thailicious has great reviews and the food looked pretty good in the pictures. Plus... it's super close to my house. The little one zoomed over and our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs. 2 people and we ordered: Orange chicken Beef fried rice Wontons And some green bean curry thing w chicken (Came w steamed rice too) $50 later... we were excited to get home and sample everything. We piled the food high on our plates cuz we were staaaaaarving... Here's the thing. We were still starving after we tried everything cuz nothing tasted good to us. At all. Like, I'm one to eat food just so it doesn't go to waste. And I didn't wanna eat it. The orange chicken was kinda mushy and yet the chicken was dry, and overall didn't have a great flavor either. The green bean thing had way too much mint. The beef fried rice was sooo over sauced and over cooked. The wontons were fine. We still didn't finish those either. The steamed rice was the only thing we kept. I honestly packed up everything and gave it to my kid's tutor when he came over. (Ugh... I hope he doesn't see this review ). But... when you don't have to pay for it, it probably tastes better. To spend $50 and be disappointed is the worst. But...... lemme say that they probably have high ratings because the service was EXCELLENT! The woman who assisted us w our order was so over the top w great customer service. This will probably be my new go to Thai place. The staff was super friendly and sweet and gave excellent recommendations. Tonight, we tried the pad see ew beef, Tom yum chicken, and this fried fish filet with mango sauce dish. I would say the pad see ew didn't look super appealing at first due to lack of chinese broccoli but after trying it the flavor is on point! Couldn't wait to take a second bite sooo no picture. The Tom yum soup was also very flavorful. Beware of the spice level. We got medium but it was spicier than most mediums at other places. With that said I still would get medium next time. The fish wasn't on the menu but definitely ask about it because it was soooo goood!!! Perfectly crispy and the mango sauce is delicious. I will definitely be back! read more

They used to have really good food. Today my daughter ordered delivery of chicken fried rice and orange chicken. When the food arrived, the fried rice had NO chicken at all in it. The Orange chicken was cold like it was refrigerated. So I packed it up and headed to the restaurant for my money back. I got my money and noticed a B health grade on the way out. We ordered take-out from here today. Least favorite Thai place in the area, we've tried them most. The flavors were very underwhelming. We've had Papaya Salad at them all and this was for sure our least favorite. It was... Boring. We also had noodles with Shrimp, just 4 shrimps were included. Again, flavors were yawn. I love finding new thai restaurants, and it's been a hit or miss for most restaurants. I was skeptical to try out Thailicious but I'm glad I did. Located right behind Red Palace and right behind Burger King on Norwalk and South. The restaurant itself is very small and gives off this very homey feeling that I love. The owner and his staff are always super sweet and will quickly give you a new jug of water if you're running low. All the food tastes amazing and comes out pretty quickly. Even if you're ordering to-go the portions and the flavor stays the same. Their pad see ew is amazing! My boyfriend always gets it whenever we're here and I have to agree it's amazing. The burnt soy sauce flavor just really pops and the greens are so crunchy. Love love love this dish here. Pad thai is very delicious with the chewy rice noodle texture drenched in tamarind sauce. Their fried rice, Weeping Warrior (combination of seafood in coconut chili sauce) and everything else here I've tried is great. I didn't even take photos to post on yelp to attest to how good this place is. Definitely one of my top Thai restaurants out there, please give this place a try if you're on the fence. read more

Our last day in SoCal and we finally find a Thai place that lives up to my picky standards *SIGH* just my luck. It looks run down from the outside but don't let that stop you. There's some delicious, authentic Thai food hidden behind that old, faded facade. We ordered for take out: crab fried rice, pad see ew, beef salad, pad Thai, green curry chicken and Thai iced tea to go. The food was so good that everyone in our group came back for second and third helpings. Taste is excellent. High prices are offensive and the "shrinkage" is even more offensive ($18 for a container of chicken pad see ew that is only filled around 70% is just too much). Perfectly seasoned with tasty vegetables! Especially delicious when hot. Around $11 (I get chicken for choice of meat) and they give you a LOT. Takes me two meals to finish or perfect to share with a friend! Service is friendly and kind. I also appreciate how quick they are with their orders at all times! I stopped by this past Sunday & ordered the Pad Thai (with shrimp, beef, and chicken) and the vegetable chow mein. The wait was about 20 minutes for the food. The food was very hot and very good looking when I first opened up the container. However, it wasn't that good. The pad Thai was soggy, the two pieces of shrimp OK, the chicken was blah and the beef tasted like the prior day's beef - it crumbled up & didn't taste good nor fresh. The vegetable chow mein had an overwhelming taste of fish oil and curry--it also had an overwhelming amount of a white pepper & curry powder (see picture). Amazing Thai food. Very unassuming from the exterior, and frankly even the interior is nothing to write home about. But here is a perfect example of never judge a book by its cover...quite honestly some of the VERY BEST Thai food I've ever had. Even including a James Beard award winning restaurant in Las Vegas, that I love. If you are in the area and you enjoy Thai cuisine, you simply must try this place! If you are a vegetarian or vegan, this is a really accommodating place. I love that they have little (V) on their menus for any food that they can make vegan. Plus, we ordered some noodles that did not have the (V) and asked if they can make it vegetarian for us and they agreed! Yay! Really great service and staff. They were friendly and gave great suggestions for food. Ambience is casual and good for a lunch spot. It was not crowded when we got there on Sunday around noon. Food was amazing. You can't go wrong. We ordered the Tom Yum Soup which was hot and sour soup and we added vegetables. You can add vegetables and tofu to anything and everything. We ordered medium spicy. I loved the soup. It was spicy but had a great taste. We also ordered the Kee Paw noodles (probably spelling it wrong) with fried tofu and the Panang curry with fried tofu. They both came with vegetables in it. Curry comes with a side of white or brown rice. Portion sizes were generous. Both the dishes were amazing! Totally loved it. They also have a challenge called tom yum noodle fiery challenge. The winner gets a T-shirt and hall of flame and only ays $5. I doubt it's gonna be worth it. I will post a picture for anyone interested :) Prices were reasonable. It was similar to what you normally see. Parking was easily available. Its a small and nice little thai place. Service was attentive and the food arrived promptly. This place owes me money. I just paid $30 for 2 bites of pad Thai and the rest sprouts and a half eaten soup that is the wrong soup. I ordered chicken and got shrimp. Delivery guy said chopsticks because I specifically asked for chopsticks and spoons were in the bag, 2 forks and 1 spoon. Haven't even tried it yet. Tried to call and it goes to voicemail. Delivery guy after I called him said he will let the kitchen know. Meanwhile I have to leave for work soon. Wanted to eat a little with my wife before work. Ruined. I got food here and had it delivered to my house. The delivery service was quick and my stomach was definitely appreciative. The food was just okay. I ordered the pad see ewe. I thought it was a little too salty and maybe a little too heavy on the sauce. I definitely won't be ordering the pad see ewe again, but I wouldn't be opposed to going back and trying something else. Really tasty, especially with the pickled jalapeno they have on the table. So good. We ordered the CRAB FRIED RICE. This was just ok. I've definitely had way better. We also got the TOM KHA GAI. This was also just ok. It wasn't as creamy and silky as most places can get it. It looked like the sauce broke a bit too. Flavor wasn't as milky and creamy as my taste buds would have liked. The last thing we ordered was the CRISPY PORK AND CHINESE BROCCOLI. It was "eh". The crispy pork was over cooked. Most places that serve this dish have chunks of pork. This place had thin slices of pork so the pork had more of a chip consistency than a chew with a slight crunch consistency like I've had at other places. - OVERALL I'd be back again for sure! read more

This tiny casual restaurant is located on the street side (Norwalk Blvd) of a small strip mall. The clean interior shows its age with the worn chairs and walls but this just adds to its comfortable atmosphere. The sound system played everything from 70s rock to country music during my lunch. Water was brought to my table which I mention solely because I always appreciate when a restaurant provides some sort of water decanter at the table so you don't have to ask for refills. I ordered off the lunch menu - the yellow curry with green salad and steamed rice along with a Thai iced tea. The salad came with a delicious vinaigrette (sorta tasted like raspberry?) which made it quite enjoyable. The yellow curry, which I ordered with low spice, was both savory and slightly sweet. Tender pieces of chicken, potato and carrot swam around in the delicious yellow curry broth. I have this odd thing I do at Thai restaurants; I order a side of peanut sauce to put on my steamed rice. Thailicious serves a generous-sized portion of peanut sauce as their side order and I had plenty to eat with every bite of rice. They make a top notch peanut sauce here. The Thai iced tea was quite good too. Prices are average if not a bit lower than what you'd expect and service was attentive. Definitely a great choice for Thai food in the area. read more

I am a veteran and have moved around and had some of the best Thai food. But I can honestly say Thailicious is in my top 3. As for spice level I get it medium here. It's just enough spiciness for you to get that heat on the backend. My favorite dishes are the beef Pad see ew, chicken tom kha soup, and my kids love the orange chicken. Our server brings out waters immediately for us. We agreed on papaya salad, Tom yum Gai, and yellow curry. *THIS IS WHAT PISSED US OFF* As we are ordering the papaya salad, our server notified us that they were out of dried shrimp, but we could substitute it for fried pork, salted crab, and some other options. We opted for fried pork. She then tells us it's $1 extra. So now I'm thinking she doesn't understand the definition of substitution. If you guys don't have a specific ingredient on hand, and is striving for good customer service, at least let the options you've suggested be free. Oh but, we can just have our papaya salad without the dried shrimp for the same price. By this logic, if we were going to get charged extra for something that should have been in there in the first place, where was our discount for not getting our full order? Stupid service. Some of the BEST Thai food. Ordered a little bit of everything and honestly, everything was SO good. Took our server's advice and tried something new, fried white fish with a mango type slaw on top and WOW. The fish comes with a beautiful, crispy crust and the fish inside almost dissolves in your mouth. Got all of my fave classics like pad see ew, crab fried rice, golden shrimp, and they were excellent.
