My family & I came here for lunch on a Saturday since my family live sin the area. I've been here several times at this location & 1x at the cypress location in the last decade. I was surprised to see how slow the business was on a Saturday. Kudos to them they survived through the pandemic but I wouldn't say they serve the best Thai food. I've had better elsewhere that tasted authentic. We ordered pad Thai, pad see ew, shrimp fried rice, & beef dish. The noodle dishes & fried rice wasn't bad but the beef was dry & bland. I remember the flavors at this place were better in the past. Price is affordable & great for family & kids. Ambiance is clean & modern.

I've been meaning to try this place for a while, so I finally got the chance to do so. I've seen this place on Instagram, and it looked really good. After checking out Yelp, this place only had 3-something stars, so I said "screw it" and gave it a try. Best decision I made! The food was amazing. Everything we tried was absolutely good. The ambiance is a chill vibe, and the food came out really fast. Also, the service was really good, and you get refills on drinks. I will most definitely try this place again, and I recommend you try it too.

My family likes to order Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Rad Na, Fried Rice, Veggies, Wonton Soup, Coconut soup... everything is delicious. We come here for birthdays too! It's my family's go to Thai food place. Also, my 90 year old grandma loves this place! Service is great. Music is good haha. Upbeat and keeps you eating xD And I love the orange chicken. Leaving the review so that I remember to keep ordering Orange chicken again next time. One of the best places for Orange chicken. I know, I'm picky and probably considered basic. It's good. Trust. Haha.

My friends and I were looking for some food and decided to go back to an old favorite. We hadn't been to Sweetee Thai for a long time - probably at least a few years. The layout hadn't changed and everything pretty much runs the same as before. We ordered some dishes to share, including what I was craving - tom yum noodle soup. This is one of the few places that make this noodle soup and has all the fixings that I like in it. Plus they make it spicy on a consistent basis, which is hard to find. Our food came out quickly and everything was good. Sweetee Thai is one of the those places where some of the dishes are fantastic while most of the other ones are consistently good. We know that when we come here, we will get a good meal. I also convinced my friends to share a coconut smoothie with me - yum! Service was good - staff was quick, efficient and we got what we needed right away. While I wouldn't necessary be in the mood to come here often, it is good to come once in a while.

Consistent as always! Food is always good. Fast service. This is our go to Thai restaurant in the area. Our faves are the mango sticky rice, spicy beef pad see ew and orange chicken.

Came here with a friend of mine. We wanted to have lunch at a Thai spot. So decided to come here. We were seated immediately upon arrival. Service was good. Didn't get her name, but she was quick to serve us. I had ordered the yellow curry with rice and salad. Not sure what dressing they topped the salad with, but it was good. Tasted like honey mustard. My meal did taste fantastic. No complaints there. They also had serve us water in a fancy stainless steel cup. Never seen anything like it. Place did get super busy later for lunch so it tells you how much customers loved this Thai place. Would like to return and try other items on the menu.

We have always been eating here. The food is fine and what should Thai should taste. I have been to some other Thai place and some food would taste different. The service is good. The ambiance is okay; not really for a special occasion.

My friend's favorite Thai spot, we recently visited here based off their recommendations. This spot serves pretty traditional Thai dishes as well as some that I've never seen before. I got the pad see kee, my classic go to, and it was flavored well, freshly made, no complaints from me about it! Next time I come by, I want to try some of the other Thai dishes I've never had before. Definitely a Thai place worth checking out!

So it does seem that there is a service charge here that a lot of people are complaining about, things really do add up here (I'm trying not to hold this against them). The service can be a bit slow, they are pretty understaffed during the busy hours it seems. The food is always delicious though and the ambiance is not bad. The yellow curry here has slowly become my favorite dish & the homemade ice cream is also delicious! Food: 4.5/5 Service: 2.5/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Value: 3/5 Overall: 3.5/5

We were craving some warm pho on a cold night, and Soup Shop sounded like the perfect spot. The plaza Soup Shop is located in is usually super crowded, but if you go after 9pm when most of the other restaurants and shops are closed, you'll find plenty of parking. Write your name down on the waiting list at the front podium and then wait for your name to be called. They have a few seats to wait right outside the door. Once we were seated, we were given menus. I really like that their menu has a lot of large photos of the dishes, so you know what you're getting! Once we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly despite being busy. For appetizers, we ordered the Crunchy Pork "Bao" since it sounded unique. Inside the bao is pork shoulder, mushroom, Vietnamese sausage, and quail egg. The outside has a thin, perfectly crispy layer that gives a nice little crunch when you bite into it. Really enjoyed these and would recommend! We also got the Crusted Parmesan Cauliflower. Not sure what's in the sauce, but it's sweet, tangy, and delicious! It's also topped with fried onion, cilantro, cucumber, and parmesan cheese. Also a winner! For entrees, we got the Chicken Pho and the Pho Ribeye. For the chicken Pho, you can get it with thigh or breast meat. I got it with breast meat, and they gave a good amount of meat! A little dry, but I appreciated that it was nice and lean. The flavor of the soup is really good. Pho Ribeye was also tasty! Hit the spot.

The steak was cooked medium, very tender, and seasoned perfectly. It paired really well with the garlic noodles, which were simple but flavorful. The dish comes with a side of Peruvian aji sauce, and it was very tasty. My friend also ordered the shaken beef, but with white rice instead of noodles. For appetizers, we ordered the fried pork bao. They were packed with flavor and so good that I would come back just to order them again. The restaurant is small, but very clean. It might be difficult to find seating if you're visiting with a large group. The customer service was okay but could use some improvement. The staff didn't check on us very often during our meal.

It was nice having a party where we can share a little with others and get a chance to try some things we normally don't. Food: The soups were quite bland for our taste so we did a bit of customization with salt and pepper. Although they provided a decent amount of banchan, the proteins in their soups were pretty scarce, not worthing the $19 price tags. Their Hae Jang Guk was the only soup with the bone filled up the bowl. However, because there's no space in the small bowl, even a little nudge made its soup spilled all over my sister's body. The waitress just then gave her a bib but the damage had already been done. The Bulgogi and Katsu took the longest to come out but they were the highlights of our meal. Service: We were the only table at the time and our waitress only gave us 2 menus for a table of 6 so we had to go grab our own from other tables. She's not the friendliest and kept tossing things on our table. She also tried taking away a dipping sauce jar after I had already requested to keep it. Our water was never refilled and napkins were very skimmed out. Though she did check up on our tables, her attitude was what made us refrain from asking for help. We love to give smaller businesses a chance, but we're sad to say Jomaru is not one of them.

I absolutely loved the crispy bottom layer because it added such a satisfying crunch to every bite. The inside stayed really juicy and flavorful with a good balance of pork, shrimp, and chives. The Juicy Pork Dumplings had soup inside, which was rich and savory. I've had soup dumplings before where the wrapper breaks apart too easily, but these held together nicely while still staying soft and delicate. The Wonton in Spicy Sauce was my personal favorite from the entire meal. The spicy sauce flavor was savory with a little sweetness. I'm typically not good with spice, so this is at a spice level that should be very manageable for everyone. I absolutely loved the spicy sauce, so I started putting it on everything. Definitely put the sauce on the chicken fried rice! The Chicken Fried Rice was a great dish to pair with everything else that we ordered. With several orders of entrees, a solid rice dish is a must order for any Chinese meal. The rice had a nice savory flavor that I enjoyed, and there was a generous amount of chicken mixed throughout the dish. I even asked the waitress if they do anything special with the fried rice because it tasted better than many other restaurants. It felt comforting and balanced compared to some of the heavier dishes. The Dry Fried String Beans were cooked perfectly with a slight crispness while still being tender. The garlic and seasoning gave them so much flavor that it honestly didn't even feel like I was eating vegetables. I do have to note that these were very much on the salty side, so if you don't like foods that are too salty, I would choose a different dish. The Orange Chicken was really crispy and juicy, which I appreciated because soggy orange chicken is always disappointing to me. The sauce had a nice citrus flavor while still keeping that classic sweet savory taste. The Spring Rolls were simple with vegetable filling on the inside with a crispy outside. I would try a different appetizer next time. The Kung Pao Shrimp was packed with flavor and had a really satisfying combination of textures. The shrimp were tender, and the peanuts added a great crunch to the dish. I thought the sauce had a really nice balance of spice and savoriness without becoming overwhelming. Another dish I really enjoyed was the Beef Roll Pancake. The pancake itself was nice and chewy throughout each bite. The sliced beef with green onions and sauce all wrapped together made every bite really flavorful and satisfying. For drinks, I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba. I really liked that the jasmine tea flavor was noticeable instead of being overly sweet like some milk teas can be. The boba had a soft chewy texture, and the drink itself paired perfectly with the spicy and savory dishes from the meal. Staff: All of the staff members were quick and friendly Ambiance: Indoor seating only. A good amount of parking in the parking lot that is shared with other shops in the plaza.

The broth is the star here. It's rich, flavorful, slightly sweet with a tangy kick, pretty sure there's some tangerine going on in there. Just a heads up, even "mild spicy level" has a noticeable heat, so if you're sensitive to spice, don't try to be brave... go no spice. The meats were surprisingly good, tender, not chewy, which is where a lot of places mess up. Noodles came out hot, no complaints there. We also got mango sticky rice and this is where they really sealed the deal. Mango was perfectly in season, juicy, sweet, not that sad sour off-season stuff. Sticky rice was soft and actually tasted like it was made fresh, not reheated from yesterday. Waitress was attentive and nice. IMO, the fish sauce and lemon (acid) should balance each other out.
