The beef and chicken in the dishes are plain as day.. plainly cooked and then just added to the noodles which are lacking flavor and also fairly dry with the most minimal amount of sauce. Been meaning to try this place for a while and finally did tonight. It's a pretty small place mostly takeout but a few tables to sit if you wish. We got roti with peanut sauce, edamame, pad thai & drunken noodles. Amid all the chaos of the virus craziness, I found so many Asian restaurants closed, even for takeout. Not surprising, this place is open and doing great business because it looks so clean the food is delicious and fresh. I enjoyed the pineapple chicken fried rice with cashews carrots and peas and onions; a delicious meal in itself. And I added a side of crispy spring rolls. Excellent new Thai restaurant, primarily take out but there are a few tables, nothing fancy. They have a large amount of menu items arranged by categories such as Salad and Yum, Fish, Curry, Chefs special, Sauteed, Fried rice and noodles. I tried the drunken noodle and it was perfect. Make sure you ask for spicy, I did and it was hot but not overwhelming. I like the way it was prepared with a variety of veggies including string beans, carrots, onions and bell peppers. One of my pet peeves with some Thai restaurants is the excessive use of bell peppers. It just ruins the flavor of the dish and I end up throwing out the peppers. This is not the case at Thaneree. Staff, family? Are friendly. Hope they do well in this location, they deserve it. read more

Wow what an incredible meal I had via takeout (seamless) at Thanaree Thai Kitchen. Let's just say I'm a snob for peanut sauce and Thanaree's peanut sauce is incredible and I'm glad I ordered extra. Thanaree was very good at following my instructions and substitutions on my meal and spice level. The noddle dishes are great, and the massaman curry is enough for two meals and so flavorful! Tried out this spot after Thanksgiving as I was visiting my boyfriend and his family in Long Island and I was so satisfied and full after the meal! Thai food is one of my favorites and after living in NYC, it's been hard for me to find suburban spots that meet the bar. It was a big party of 6 and I essentially was able to try most dishes we ordered which included spring rolls, Thai iced tea, pad kee mao, red curry, and massaman curry. The flavors were honestly great for all the dishes and tasted authentic across the board. Even though I ordered the red curry, I liked the noodle dish (pad kee mao) most because of the juicy and soft texture. Tons of flavor packed in there and it wasn't dry like other Thai spots I've been to. Tip: take advantage of the lunch special! read more

Pleasantly surprised to find good Thai around here. I've tried others in the area and was not happy about it. We got wings (really good), massaman curry (delicious. Was so disappointed wth the food. We ordered the half duck. It was so dry and overcooked. It looked like somebody ate it and threw it back in the box. We got 2 legs with the meat gone off them. I cannot tell you the last time I had good phad thai in Long Island. Really good. I've had better but this blows any place I currently know of locally out of the water. Other items had were: Spring rolls - good Curry puffs - pretty good Fresh roll...Has radish - pretty good. Very spicy sauce. Ground chicken salad - spicy. Oniony. Chicken slightly dry, kind of understandable. Would get other version with different meat next time. Steamed dumpling with meat - pretty good. Crab rangoon - different from chinese places. Not as good but fine. Pumpkin custard - nice. Pumpkin is stodgy but the custard is delicious. Never had this anywhere so nothing to compare to. Thai iced tea - yummy but a bit too much ice. Great food. One of the best drunken noodles! Intense flavor and not over oily. Also very skillfully cooked. Their spice level cater to all levels of spice tolerance which I absolutely love! They can go from mild to extra spicy. Great delivery. I have read reviews which say that portion sizes are small. I say that it was comfortably filling and a good usual take out portion size. Tried this place for the first time and it was pretty good. We had crab Rangoon which were okay but were the smallest crab Rangoon's I've ever seen or had. I ordered the cashew nut veggie and my fiancé ordered the veggie red curry. Let me start by saying that we are a couple that can definitely handle our spicy food, we ordered our entrees medium and I'm afraid to even know what they're spicy sauce is like. Delicious! I ordered a medium spiced chicken massaman curry with a thai iced tea on a cold blustery day and was pleasantly warmed right up! Everything was fresh and crisp and there was a nice sweet note to the dish as well. I like that this is takeout and they focus their time and effort on making delicious food. The food is fresh, made with with fresh ingredients, and really good Thai flavors. Someone recommended this place on a local fb group and I had to try! So glad I was able to! The food was delicious. We ate the following - Thai chicken wings Papaya salad Tom yum soup Pad Thai chicken Masaman curry Thai wings were not crispy by the time it was brought home. Had good flavor Tom yum soup was great! I asked for medium and it was spicier than I imagined. I still finished it. Papaya salad - refreshing and fresh Pad Thai - so good Masaman curry - tasty. It's a little sweeter than I liked but my husband thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely order again and try other things on the menu. Only downside- the place is small but great for take out.
