My first experience at the Brownstone Pancake Factory was with my daughter and grandbabies, who have been several times before. Walking in felt like going to a carnival--bright, lively, and full of energy. I initially expected a simple diner, but I quickly realized it's much more; there are so many menu options that it was actually a bit overwhelming in the best way. My daughter ordered an iced vanilla latte along with a California omelette, which came with breakfast potatoes. I had a regular coffee and a croissant sandwich with bacon, ham, and cheese. They also have a great kids' menu. My granddaughter had a blueberry pancake with scrambled eggs on the side, and she absolutely loved it. Fast moving place to say the least. Gets crowded quickly on special event days like Mothers Day. We waited for nearly 90 mins. Not my choice to wait. I don't wait for food. Definitely not 90 mins.. My daughter just had to have Brownstone. The worst part of the wait was their system. They do not notify you by text or restaurant pager. They come to the door and yell out a name. If you miss hearing your name or they mispronounced your name, they pass you by. That's crazy considering the amount of names they get and the house doesn't pronounce it correctly The food: All of our order was VERY good. Only complaint. My skirt steak was cooked well, not medium well. But it was not over cooked. Was still tender and delicious. If you can't tell by all the photos. We took a lot of food home. The waitress was really attentive. But it looked like all the staff was attentive. Not over bearing at all. Super busy place. And they only take 1st come, 1st call. Well ladies and gents back at it for the second time this week. Guess I was on a steak kick. There skirt Steak is cooked to perfection every time and seasoned very well. All honesty the steak dish my girlfriend had was so tender I could cut it with a knife. It must be luck but again in and out. It was not busy at all and food did not take long to get to us after we ordered which was nice. So if you want to eat then play or play then eat. Iplay America and top golf is right up the road. Some Sundays just hit different. Church was absolutely PHENOMENAL! Rev. Nicole Drakeford preached a WORD that reached all the way into my soul. It was nice and neat. We were seated immediately. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I can't complain. The food was very delicious and filling. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and happy that I did. This place stays busy! I got there 1hr after it opened on a Saturday and had to wait about 25 minutes to be seated. Once seated we had good service from our waitress. I wasnt quite sure what to order, but I saw a server walking to another table with eggs benedict that looked so good, so that is what I went with. It did not disappoint! It was delicious and fulfilling. I ordered a side of homemade corned beef hash and was surprised of how large the side was. That was enough for 2 meals on its own. I took most of it home and had it the next day for breakfast. The pancakes I had was ok, wish i didn't get the walnuts in it. I was happy that they had pure maple syrup upon request. I have been to this location twice and both times were good experiences. It's gets really crowded but everyone greets you with a smile. They have a huge menu. I've only experienced breakfast however I've seen some plate pass by with lunch and looks very good. Hugh portions and kids favorites the ultimate shakes. The restaurant is very cute, kid friendly with a carousel located in front of the restaurant. The food is always delivered to your table hot. The only downfall is they don't accept reservations. I've been wanting to come here for a while. We've been to the one in Brick, NJ and liked it. We were immediately seated after checking in. The place is very cute and follows a carnival theme. A small carousel with white horses is to the immediate left and the host's podium has a carnival-like overlay on it. The walls are minty-green, with matching ceiling lamps and mounted lamps that resemble red, white, and gray balloons. The booths are also the same color as well and Brownstone's logo can be seen on the tops of them. TVS are mounted to the upper corners in some areas too. Daughter ordered Cali Waffle Eggs Benedict, which has 3 mini waffles each topped with chicken sausage, avocado, a poached egg and drizzled with hollandaise sauce. She liked it a lot and thought it was really tasty and the waffles were crispy. Next, Hubs ordered Garden Omelet, which comes with tomatoes, mushrooms, broccoli, onions and peppers. The plate was chipped. He said that he was surprised at how big the order was. He thought it was fluffed up but it was actually filled with vegetables, which was all right. Potatoes was nice and brown but could use some onions. Lastly, I had the 3-Egg platter, which I ordered 3 over easy eggs served alongside with choice of homefries. Everything we had so far has been a hit, and always end up with leftovers for later. Amazing first experience at this pancake factory. The menu reminded me of the Cheesecake Factory where it was pages long. The options are endless and it took us a good 10 minutes or so to finally decide what we wanted. But since this was our first time, we both decided to order breakfast. I ordered the Newport omelet and my husband ordered the muscle man pancake wrap. My omelet came with ham, peppers, onions, american cheese and was topped with their homemade meat sauce. It also came with a side of toast, and i substituted my other side with a salad instead. The portion size of the omelet was quite big, and i definitely had to take more than half of it home. It was quite tasty with the meat sauce and I highly enjoyed it. The Muscle man pancake wrap was very big and took up the entire plate. it had chicken sausage, egg whites and cheddar cheese wrapped in an oversized pancake. It was quite bland and not much flavor. Despite this, though, i would definitely go back and try their other menu items. It does get quite busy on the weekends with a long wait. First let comment on something very positive. The service was very close to perfection. Our server was super pleasant and always asking us how everything was tasting and if we were happy. The only - 1/10th of a point is the bottle less $4 coffee hit bottom and was never asked if I needed a refill. The food was ok and could be so much better if the cooks cared. The waiter was super nice and helpful in decision making for my entree with such a variety of choices. The food was very flavorful and the portions are huge, my son had a cheeseburger and fries off of the kids menu and it was enough for 2 meals. The Tijuana skillet was also huge it could have easily been shared with 4 people, it included pork carnitas Yukon gold potatoes jalapeños cheddar cheese and 2 fried eggs. We then ordered the ferris wheel special which was a ferris wheel filled with different mini items. It came will the churro french toast, regular french toast, mini pancakes and waffles, bacon, and sausages. It also came with syringes filled with peanut butter, Nutella, blue vanilla, raspberry sauce, and caramel. For $60 it was well worth it and could feed 4-5 people. Another party ordered the Oreo cheese cake pancakes which where huge. It came with pancakes topped with fried Oreos, and cheese cake slice. We also ordered eggs as well. We could only eat about 10% of our food. I would recommend this place for certain occasions, not a regular thing. The portions are BEYOND huge and very calorie heavy but I love the concept. Our bill came to about $110, which wasn't bad. Drinks are kind of pricy, $8-9 for oj or lemonade. I also noticed other reviewers talking about flies. I went just this morning by myself for a bite so I thought I would hop on and warn anyone, do not order the Salted Caramel Pretzel Pancakes and the Brownie Sundae Pancakes together. Between the ice cream and the caramel sauce on both large stacks- eating them will literally kill your stomach. They don't come with a side so bacon, porkrolll, and a cream cheese bagel actually come separate- very pricey. I think my meal plus the milkshake was around $65 plus tip. Really steep price for breakfast. And not to be gross but I am on the toilet writing this review on my phone, haha. Stomach feels like a brick is in it. I asked the waiter and he told me that it didn't come with those items, I didn't have the menu in front of me anymore, this was when our food was delivered. He then offered to bring me a pickle and did so. Tipped him extra because I felt so awkward, he very much reacted like I was a Karen trying to get free stuff or something. I didn't dare ask about the coleslaw after his response to the pickle. Checked the menu after we left to confirm I wasn't crazy and sure enough it said it came with those sides.
