One drink rang up correctly, but a latte with added flavor rang up higher than the menu board indicated it should be. I didn't get any food, but someone else there told me the crepes are delicious. It's an unassuming spot in an office park area, not your typical retail shopping center. The coffee, however, was far from typical. We very much enjoyed our drinks. The interior is small but warm with plenty of seating for the size of the place. There are also a few tables outside. They are adamant (but not unfriendly) about keeping the cafe free of laptop computers, which they don't allow. They offer no WiFi. Their business model is focused on fostering genuine human interaction and conversation, and I must say, I do admire that anyone is really trying to encourage that these days! The staff was super friendly and helpful as we asked about the coffee menu choices and what their recommendations were. (They also offer some food items, but we did not order any of those on this visit.) They explained to us that the coffee drinks are listed on the menu from most sweet to least sweet, which is certainly a helpful thing to know. But they emphasized that they try to keep all of the drinks balanced so that they are not overly syrupy, which is also something we appreciate! To put that to the test, I ordered the most sweet drink on the menu, the Turtle Pie, which I ordered as a shaken espresso. (You can get any of their coffee drinks as a latte, cold brew, or shaken espresso.) That drink comes with two shots of espresso, dark chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut. My wife ordered the Sweet & Salty as a latte, and it comes with two shots of espresso, maple, sea salt, and white chocolate. We each thought our drinks were just the right balance of coffee and sweetness, and the flavors really worked well. We were quite impressed. :) I am not in the area that often, but when I am, I will definitely be keeping Momentto in mind.

I know the 414 Mill shops as I've been to the boutique shops in here many times. They're all new shops so it's worth stopping in. I love the waterfall courtyards inside. Check my photos! Gio had amazing coffee, shipped from Peru. The beans come from her family farm in Peru and they get shipped over the ocean and travel all the way to Tempe. It's quite amazing. They have lovely flaky pastries too. Quaint Seating inside and out. Very peaceful spot inside the shops. The coffee is amazing with a smooth rich flavor. I got an organic drip choice but I'll be back for the lavendar latte. Def stop in, it's such a treat to drink coffee from Peru, you must try it!

I got a danish, and it was flaky and had a balanced sweetness. I also got one of their candles, they are made from coffee grounds. The candle is extremely cute, but doesn't have a strong scent. So great to have Proyecto Coffee Bar officially serving The Bouldering Project!…read more The owners behind Proyecto have been operating here as part of Pair Cupworks for a while, but they're now taking the spot in a direction of their own (with beans still roasted by Pair!). The first special we tried -- the iced Cafe de Olla -- was fantastic. It's nicely spiced with cinnamon, clove, and allspice and sweetened with piloncillo syrup without overpowering the strong espresso flavor. It's such a convenient location with plenty of seating -- check out the hammocks outside if you want to chill -- and WiFi if you want to get some work done. Or, work on some climbs by doing a drop-in at the bouldering gym. :)

We asked for the receipt and opted for receipt via text, because they did not have the paper option, and when we received it it showed that we were charged for 1 Tea Latte shortie with oak at $7.35 ($6.60+$.75 for the oatmilk upcharge if we do the math) + tax to total $8.20. We asked the employees about the price difference from the menu and that we wanted two matchas. The employees had a hard time explaining the price difference and when we asked for the second one we were charged $6.60 + tax which totaled $7.20 for the second one. We stopped coming here due to their inconsistency in pricing. We used to get a cafe de olla and one of the sweet mocha ones, the prices were always inconsistent, we were hoping to have a better experience this time. They didn't even have a manager we could speak to. For sure we won't be coming here anymore, nor will we be recommending the place. EDIT: We threw away the drinks because they were horrible. They tasted like coffee sweetener with matcha, too sweet, and they just left this sticky dry mouth taste like medicine.

It wasn't very sweet and had a slightly sandy texture that I couldn't get past. We also ordered ahead, but didn't realize you have to check in when you arrive. My husband waited for a bit before going up to the window, only to find out the drink had been sitting there for a while. That part was a little frustrating and definitely something I wish we'd known. That said, there was a line out the door, so clearly people love it. I'm thinking I may have just ordered the wrong thing. I'd be open to going back and trying one of their coffee drinks instead.

My coffee only took a couple minutes to get on a Sunday around noon. We went in-store to order, so we parked in the parking lot. There is a ton of outdoor and indoor seating. The staff was friendly enough.
