I met a friend here one day due to her recommendation. The ambience of the location is pretty cool. There are multiple seating options + you can tell that it is a local hangout spot. My friend and I both ordered the latte flight (see pic). I was excited to try each of the chosen latte flavors, however I was a bit disappointed upon drinking the lattes. What a cute little coffee shop. I've been following the place on Facebook and have been dying to stop in. I live in NJ and frequently come to NC to visit my sister. I always love trying new places. This was on my spits to get this time. We came early before a trip to the mall for a pick me up of a Sunday Brunch Latte. Yum! I usually opt for a seasonal flavor but I thought this one sounded yummy. It did not disappoint at all. I also had a lemon poppyseed muffin which was so so. The woman behind the counter asked if I wanted it warmed which I declined. I'm betting it was better heated up a little. Oh well, my bad. The entire vice of the leave was so nice though. Lovely staff and great selection of drinks and gifts. Love the fireside latte. Last time I was there I brought my grandmother who was visiting from out of state, she loved the gifts and we go some of the hand painted christmas glasses and macaroons for my mom. Do not go here! Today was the second time the latte I received from the HS location tasted very sour and disgusting and gave me horrible GI problems. This time I only took one sip and threw it out, and it still hurt my stomach so bad. The last time I had GI problems for several days. I don't know what happened to this place. We used to love it. For the record, I drink espresso based drinks from all other coffee shops with no issues. I'm not sure if the staff doesn't know what they're doing or if it's a new ingredient, but I will not ever go back to this coffee shop!! read more

I hopped in, when the Dunkin line was WAY too long. (I know...I had a gift card). Saw that this place was in the same complex. I hopped in and loved seeing the amazing ambiance. So well lit, loved their offerings board, the gifts were so cute. Slightly put off by the very religious items, but hey- we are on the south (Just moved from the north). I've been here three times. The first two times were great, I bought a couple things and thought the baristas were very sweet. I was happy to support a local coffee shop and loved all the decor inside! Today was a very different visit. The two owners stared at me the whole time and i felt very unwelcome. Maybe because I had my young daughter with me?? I asked a question about one of the items for sale and they seemed annoyed. It was a very snobby and unwelcoming vibe which is extremely disappointing considering the kind of shop this is. I love this little place, it has amazing things to look at while you wait for your specialty crafted drink. Everything I have had here, taste so good and fresh. My husband likes their smoothies, while I usually get coffee. This is one of very few coffee places I'll drive 30 minutes to get to since I live in the north Cary area. Normally I'll settle for something closer, but this place is definitely a favorite. Unique shopping, great coffee and delicious pastries! What more can you ask for? Went in on Friday morning, and got a seasonal eggnog latte and my mother in law got a white pumpkin latte which we loved. They are always good at tips if you need help ordering since they have a lot of options there. This place feels so cozy and inviting. Great place to bring a laptop and work and drink some great coffee and eat pastries or just hang out and talk with your friends. I had been coming to this cute place even before it was a hit they still were working on how to run there establishment.I was always in love with it to me the coffee was good at the time that was the best you could find in HS. Recently when I've stopped by there's a vibe in the air the baristas are snobby and just not welcoming but when they see someone they approve there attitude changes dramatically. I am not sure why ??? at the end of the day your coffee is only OK I guess because I'm in and out of coffee shops in Durham, Chapel hill,Cary, it's like relax your not a BIG DEAL. HS is coming up and I get people living here feel that way now.But it really shouldn't be the case. I won't be coming back. This is one of the nicest places in Holly Springs. It's a family-run coffee shop that is is very pretty inside. The staff are friendly, the coffee is good and they have La Farm baked goods. If nothing else, come for that but stay for the coffee. It's also very light and airy inside with plenty of room to get work done on your laptop, or chat with friends. read more

This was our first time at Thanks A Latte. We were impressed. The coffee drinks were delicious. I got a Charleston Iced Latte and my Wife got an Iced Americano with Vanilla. Great background music and friendly staff. There are also a lot of gifts if you are looking for some unique ideas. I know I will be back shopping for my sisters around Christmas time. My favorite little treasure I found was a modern day "soap in the mouth spray". Basically a spray that is used to deter potty mouths. Not a bad idea! We will be back! read more
