But if you're looking for flavor then you may need to reconsider. The eggs didn't taste like the eggs you crack, rather the eggs from the carton. The biscuit was okay, a fresh bojangles biscuit taste better in my opinion. The cheese grits taste like they just placed processed sliced American cheese and let it melt in the grits, the red hot link sausage taste like the great value brand at Walmart. Very basic generic taste but I wasn't mad because of how reasonable the price is. If you ask me I'd tell you to just go to bojangles. Now I haven't tried their other items- it may be good. I tried this seemingly Popular restaurant about a year ago. I had ordered a chicken biscuit and I bit into a raw piece of chicken. A year later I tried it again, another chicken biscuit. Tried their chicken biscuit - chicken cooked and seasoned right; bacon, cheese and egg biscuit - yummy; biscuit and plain gravy (no meat) - tasty; grits (I really liked their grainy texture) and cinnamon roll made with leftover biscuit mix. Their sweet tea is on point. All super affordable- all of these food with two sweet tea under $18.00. Sandy took care of us - very friendly. Fun time here. Order 3 egg and cheese biscuits, cinnamon roll and few orders of hashbrowns. They were really customer oriented as they provided much ketchup and other condiments so we can enjoy out by our van. The biscuits were good however the kids enjoyed the hashbrowns and cinnamon roll more! May not get a chance to come here again until we visit Atlanta again but glad we stopped by to try this establishment out. read more

I absolutely love this place, and if I could give them more than five stars, I certainly would. There is nothing fancy about the restaurant itself, but the menu is full of traditional southern comfort foods that never disappoint, and the staff is always friendly, polite, and professional. My favorite menu items are the tenderloin and cheese biscuits, the hashbrowns (which are to die for), a fully loaded philly cheesesteak, and the Brunswick stew. However, as I noted earlier, you really can't go wrong with any of the standard menu offerings or the rotating daily specials. My husband and I were staying at a nearby campground and had wanted to try this place for about a year since first seeing it. My husband used the drive thru but noted that the inside was PACKED (around 10am on Tuesday of spring break). Our tenderloin, egg, and cheese biscuits were fairly large and yummy. The cheese grits I ordered were watery/soupy, so I decided to pass on eating them. The "hash browns" were dang awesome! They were a cross between homemade potato chips and little hash rounds. I can't think of a single bad thing about That Biscuit Place! Hubby brought me here on our way to Mount Yonah for hiking. The prices are right! It's crowded but service is quick. The space is crowded but cozy. For 2.99 I got two huge sausage gravy biscuits (eggs not included). I also ordered an order of hash towns that were crispy and well seasoned. Although the store itself is on the smaller side, with limited indoor seating, they have a drive-through window that came in extremely handy during the Covid pandemic! This place is a hidden gem! Came for breakfast on my way to N. GA for hiking around 730 am on a Saturday and it was already busy! As I was enjoying them in my car, I witnessed an ever bigger stream of people going in. I ordered the sausage and bacon with eggs biscuits, with a side of hash browns and grits. The biscuits were not the ones you are used to, square and very dense in the middle. Theirs were hamburger shaped, soft and fluffy in the middle. Very tasty! The hash browns were crispy and the grits were lumpy and of good texture. Overall, this is a great place for home made breakfast at a good value. Highly recommended! read more

I popped in finally after hearing about this place for years. It did not disappoint. Service was excellent and fast and they brought it to my table. I had a tenderloin biscuit, sausage gravy biscuit and cheese grits...I failed to take into account how large the portions MIGHT be before I ordered. They were quite large and well worth the price, which was competitively low and very reasonable. The biscuits were excellent and huge (cat heads!), and the tenderloin was well seasoned and flavorful. I little disappointing. Their biscuits were very good, but not not outstanding. I had a country ham biscuit that had very little country ham. My wife had a sausage gravy biscuit that was very good. As we had just sat down they brought us someone else's food and never asked us our name or anything. After telling them it wasn't ours they brought out my wife's order and asked if we needed anything else. I had to tell her I needed my food too. I had been looking forward to stopping in here for MONTHS. So when I finally had the chance, I ordered two different biscuits to try: the tenderloin and the sausage gravy. The biscuits were cooked to a hard crust on the outside, which was disappointing to me. I prefer tender biscuits.I tried to get past that, and bit into it anyway. The tenderloin pieces were fine - nothing special. A little tough to be placed on a biscuit - especially when the biscuit itself was tougher. The sausage gravy was nice and thick, but there was no flavor. And barely any sausage. It was definitely a disappointment, all around. I might go back one day and try the lunch menu, but everything seems to be served cafeteria style, so I'm not sure it's worth the 30 minute drive. If you want breakfast in Cumming, it doesn't get better. Growing up in Forsyth County, this was the place where everyone went for breakfast before school. It's that kind of place where friendly, neighborly people go to catch up with each other over some Southern-style grits and biscuits. Because of this, it has a lovely, warm atmosphere. Though it is both a dine-in and drive thru restaurant, service can take a bit longer as things are made fresh, and it doesn't follow the the "get them in, get them out" paradigm. Quality is never sacrificed in order to present the quickest service possible, which is completely fine with me. I have had a variety of things from their menu for both breakfast and lunch. They have one of the best chicken biscuits around, and their sausage biscuit isn't bad either. I absolutely love their cheese grits, reminds me of my grandma's! I recently stopped in here for lunch with my mom, and we both got bacon cheeseburgers and fries. They were both excellent! Bacon was crispy, not chewy like most bacon cheeseburgers, and fries were perfectly cooked without a ton of salt poured on them. If you are in the Cumming area, you must stop by and enjoy That Biscuit Place and relish the sweet, slow, Southern lifestyle! read more

This is your typical Mom & Pop hole in the wall restaurant. It is not much on looks, but their food is legit! Thanks to Yelp, I was able to find this place. It is about 25 minutes from my home, in a part of Cumming, GA that I don't typically frequent, but I have a funny feeling that I will be coming to this area a lot more. I ordered the chicken biscuit, cheese grits and a cinnamon roll. First off, I was surprised at how affordable everything was. All of this was only about $7. I placed my order at the counter and they brought it to my table. They also have a drive thru if you don't want to dine in. The chicken biscuit was huge and very filling! The fried chicken was tasty and the biscuit was one of the best homemade biscuits I've ever had. The cheese grits were creamy and not watery. I highly recommend both of these items. I was not as impressed with the cinnamon roll. It was a little too doughy and not sweet enough for me. I recommend coming to this place early if you are interested in trying their homemade baked goods (muffins, cookies, pie, etc...) that they offer. I got here around 9:45 AM and they were already sold out of all of them. On my next visit, I plan to come by earlier, so that I can give these a try! Add this place to your "must try list!" First time here on July 1st, and we loved it. After a morning of fishing Vann's Tavern on Lake Lanier, you gotta have biscuits and gravy, ya know? Philip had been here before and recommended it. I'm not quite certain how this place has a rating past 2 unless it's for some of the wait staff. Based on high reviews our entire family went here for a true southern breakfast. What we found is very dry pancakes, plain...that's all we were told they make, eggs scrambled because they obviously use powdered eggs and they only offer scrambled eggs. The eggs were horrible little beads. The table was dirty, we had to clean 3 tables ourselves. Overall, the breakfast was horrible, all 7 of us threw 98% of our food away.
