We've been going to this place for while the crawfish are delicious however we've ordered 2lbs to 3lbs here in there so we know how much of the boil is left over. So this last time we ordered and at least one of those lbs was all crawfish boil but I still gave it 3 stars just got swindled out of a pound. Update: Thanks for the response, we have an rough idea how much a bag is suppose to weigh we come here enough. The bag that day felt about right hence my review and we didn't request any boil with it. You know that seeing a sign that informs me that they will bring me the taste of Louisiana will get me to stop. This place is just a shack, so they truly are on the right path! The kitchen is open Thursday and Friday at 3pm; Saturday at noon; Sunday at 2pm. Only snoballs Monday through Wednesday. I would have been upset if I did not show up on one of those days! I will admit that the snoball ice is decent. The ice is not the best softness that I have had in the Houston Metropolitan area, but they are about top 4. I was pleasantly surprised that the flavors were pronounced and also that the flavors are many. Do not look for a place to sit in air conditioning and eat anything you order because they only have outside seating. I ordered fully loaded nachos to go with my snoball. Truthfully, the nachos were decent, but they were better without chili. They have a drive thru which is convenient on a hot summer's day. Came here around 2pm and the drive thru seemed a bit full so decided to go in person and was served right away. I ordered 3lbs of crawfish and less than 5 min they had my order ready. The crawfish was good! It was perfect spicy, which that could mean anything to anyone. But for me it was perfect. Crawfish came in mixtures of small, medium, and big. I passed by this place last year and wanted to bring my Husband because he love's Crawfish but we are never on this side of town, well today we were . The Shrimp basket was good. You have a lot employees walking around doing nothing while your customers are waiting for 20 to 30 min for 2 medium snow balls. One time I had to get off my car and go get my snow ball because your employees were just walking by it and it was melting. Faultless. Lucky to get there around 4:15pm as soon thereafter the tables were full and the cars were lining up for take-out. We ordered two pounds yesterday and the crawfish were super small. We also waited over 10 mins for it. Not worth it esp because we went down the street to Cajun crawfish seafood & pho 2 and ordered two pounds there with the garlic butter wet sauce and their crawfish were huge! And tasted much better. About almost a month ago, the workers called my name to pick up my snow cone order and they left it there for me to get and when I went to get it I wanted some straws but I didn't realize that the napkins and straws were right by the window but I was trying to get a workers attention until, I noticed something dangling from the ceiling in the back.. so I got a bit closer to the window and took a peek and I see multiple sticky bug traps filled with nats and what looked like flys on them as well! And I was actually thinking about getting some nachos too but when I seen that shit dangling over the pot of cheese as well I damn near went crossed eyed. We stopped in Saturday afternoon and had a key lime strawberry cheesecake sno ball for desert after we had garlic sno crab & shrimp for dinner . The flavor and the taste was stupendous .. Way better than other LARGE restaurants for twice the price and a smaller portion .. The sno balls had a ice cream pocket in the middle that was a tasty surprise ...
