Wonderful staff at this location I had a wonderful experience at this location. I happen to run into my family at this location and the staff was really great. They sat us together without any issues and brought the food out all together even though we ordered at different times. I had the beef and shrimp vermicelli, which was good and filling. I tried their dragon fruit martini which was a good sipper since it packed a punch. It could be me though, I'm a light drinker. They were attentive and kind. They gave my sister some cookies as a holiday gift for her baby and as we walked out they wished us a happy holiday. They were all wearing festive hats and had a christmas tree. The pho here was so yummy! I love how soft and not overcooked their noodles are. The broth is flavorful, chicken wasn't dry and hard to chew, over all very good. Their staff is great with very nice attitudes and helpful. The decor here is pretty and feels like a nice fancy place to dine in. Walking by the places look lively, walked in and I was greeted with a handshake, the place was full but the bar was open, I got seated next to a couple, we were introduced by one of the owners, the appetizers showed up, spring rolls, fresh, delicious, and with that the conversation begun, we won't talk politics or religion my neighbor said. They were having a chocolate and coconut martini, they laugh, Dessert before dinner they said. I ordered Chicken Vermicelli, wow delicious! They ordered a chocolate martini for me as dessert, and so glad they did, it was wonderful. Even the politics talk came out and we all had a great time! The Shrimp and BBQ Pork Goi Cuon Spring Rolls I was not a fan of. I guess you need a taste for the sticky rice paper its wrapped in. I am not a fan of eating a condom though... NOW lets get to the good stuff. The Chicken Pad Thai. Where do I begin. For starters - the to go container was very small. For the price of almost $17 I expected to have a much larger portion. When I opened it up I basically had chicken fajitas in a dish with noodles. I was very very disappointed. I had to call the restaurant to make sure I didn't get the wrong item because by the looks of it I got Mexican food. It was not sauced, everything came on the side which I didn't like and the chicken was dry. Overall for the price I paid I am extremely dissatisfied. Over priced for the quality of food you get. Don't waste your money. You can go somewhere else for better food and a MUCH CHEAPER PRICE! read more

Wasn't a big fan of anything except the avocado milk tea but even that was just okay. Most of the tapioca pearls were stuck together and wouldn't go through the straw. We had an order of steamed pork gyoza which was good! The curry was a bit too sweet, I'm assuming from coconut milk. I prefer and was expecting a more savory curry. My wife had the chicken lo mein the chicken was from the Pho, which meant it was flavorless. The sauce that was on the noodles was gummy, sweet and not very good. I ordered the beef lo mein which followed the same trend from above except that the beef was thin cut supposed to be ribeye but it had the texture of chitlins. We ordered the street corn which was nowhere near the street just simply boiled corn and a strange sauce on it with raw paprika and raw green onions. The portions are tiny. I would recommend that you don't even stop if you're anywhere near it. Ate here tonight with a friend and our toddlers. We were impressed with how many egg rolls and crab rangoons we had for the happy hour special at $6 a piece. My friend enjoyed his old fashioned and my milk tea was good. Our entrees were well made and enjoyable. We were rather disappointed with the speed of the service. The old fashioned took forever to arrive, and the waiters were very busy and did not check back often. Once our food was dropped off, we didnt have a server come back to check on us for 20-30 minutes. Not to see if our food was ok, or our bill, which was long overdue even with the most well behaved toddlers. The most disappointing part was seeing that an 18% gratuity was added (to a table of 2?) and no mention of it from our servers. When the final bill arrived, there sure was another big obvious spot with pre-calculated math to add ANOTHER tip, as if one wasn't already paid. For even the most average service I always tip 20%. It takes pretty slow/bad service to be under that. This could have likely been 15% due to the long waits. I have to wonder if the automatic tips are contributing to the slow service. It's hard to believe that the same service would be expected when a tip is automatically provided vs it being a reflection of the service. It would have been courteous for the server to point this out, as most people likely wouldn't catch it. I wouldn't have if I wasn't sure how I had a $45 bill for a $6 appetizer, entree, and one non-alcoholic drink. I may go back at some point, but those items were certainly a turn off. read more

I went to this restaurant with my friends this afternoon and had an absolute terrible experience. We were approached by an employee who advised that we needed to wait for the bartender to place an order. After waiting for a very long time (the restaurant was completely empty) a lady comes from the back and looks at us and began washing dishes. We waited to see if she would approach us or greet us and didn't. After a few minutes my friend decided to ask the lady who the bartender was. The lady responded with a terrible attitude that she was the bartender and continued to ignore us. She was in an absolute terrible mood and never once again approached us. I paid for my drink that tasted old and we decided to take our business elsewhere. We will not return again and will inform others to do the same. read more

Not a good experience at all. There only one potential positive from our experience and that's maybe pushing it. Right off the bat, we ordered three items and two had to be returned and remade. One was the entree because the waiter either failed to listen to the specifics our order or the kitchen failed to abide by them. Regardless, it had to be remade. The second was my wife's drink, the Summerwood Lemonade. First one tasted like a cleaning product. It was totally not drinkable. They remade it but the drink description was false. The menu stated the drink container strawberry puree, but what it actually had was some cheap, sweetened, red syrup that in no way tasted like strawberry. Drink was a huge disappointment. Oh, we complained to the waiter and he said "I'm not the bartender." My wife then got up, went to the bar and complained to the bartender. My son got the popcorn shrimp which were awful. Yeah, I know places like this probably just use pre-made, battered, frozen shrimp that you quickly reheat. That was expected buy they just blew the execution on this or the quality of what they buy is terrible. You can get better popcorn shrimp at your frozen food section at HEB. My son's shrimp were hard, overcooked and bordering on inedible. They tasted overdone and were just not good. See the attached pics. We wasted our time here.
