With my Mom being 85, It's reassuring to know that we have found someone we can trust and who will be responsive. He even lent us some personal space heaters for the days we were without heat. My furnace was letting off toxic fumes and he stayed with me until he was certain all the air was non-toxic and I was safe. He then proceeded to make sure I had a brand new furnace the following morning and was prompt and on-time. Not only is he knowledgeable, but he went through everything with me so there were no questions. Him and his co-worker were clean, orderly, knowledgeable and helped put me at ease. I am a sales professional and I know bull when I see it. These guys are on the mark and I would refer them to friends and family. Daniel the service technician opened the unit up and tested everything. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why. He discovered a bare wire that had been chewed (possibly by a mouse) and was touching the metal housing which tripped the circuit breaker. Daniel replaced the wire and the unit is working perfectly. The honesty and integrity of this company is refreshing. We will not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to all our friends.

My entire cooling and heating system was left in an inoperable state…read more I called for a diagnostic of the air conditioner today because cool air isn't coming from the vents. I was told the diagnostic would cost $149. I asked to be informed of any repairs that had to be done. Technician checked the system and recommended replacing unit. We discussed replacement unit and cost. I was ready to pay deposit. In the next 10 minutes I was told that the model I selected is old and not available. New model costs $1000 more. I asked for a proposal to decide later. Technician told me that the visit costs $396. He said that he fixed air conditioner that was not working. He never told me that he is fixing anything. Through our the visit it looked like he was figuring out the problem. I talked to the owner and we agreed that any repairs that were done will be undone so that I do not have to pay for repairs. Then the technician removed all the wires from the board making both heat and fan unusable. He did not just undo the "repairs", but made entire system unusable including fan and heat which were working before his visit. See the photos to show what was done!

I can't say enough great things about this company. We had lived in our home for about 6 months…read morewhen our air conditioning stopped working on a very hot day. We contacted our home warranty company and after sending a very rude technician out, they let us know the air conditioner wouldn't be running for 7 to 10 days because they "couldn't find the part" and that they had "other customers." We ended up calling Yorkville Heating and Air Conditioning after our previous experience that same day. They arrived with in 10 minutes, diagnosed the same problem and found the part in the town over in just a few minutes! They rearranged their whole next day to accommodate us, arrived first thing that next morning and had the AC up and running in an hour. Being a stay at home mom with a 2 year old, I felt that its was not safe for my son and pets in this unbearably hot and humid weather to try and live in a home for an indefinite amount of time with no air conditioning. It meant so much to me that they were so accommodating and honest with us, I highly recommend this company and will be using them in the future for all of our heating and cooling needs.
