Nice little spot to grab dinner or drinks and apps! Friendly service, pretty view and tasty food! I especially enjoyed their pear salad, extra tasty! Nice menu with something for everyone. Daily fish/catch of the day specials as well. Lots of street parking nearby.

Dropped by to celebrate a friends birthday- we typically save this spot for special occasions because we know that it's consistently a great experience, the menu is fun, and you can't predict what amazing plates will be on the special menu. We each had a cocktail, their Perfect Manhattan and I gotta say- it's really good - I tend to like my Manhattans a lil dry, not too sweet. We started things off with the risotto cakes which I think are a must, veering off the menu for the starter special which used pomegranate instead of tomato in a burrata basil balsamic presentation. I got the Pappardelle which has delicious boar meat, others went with the special which had crab- I can't remember the name and I didn't risk it all for the Instagram and take pictures before they started eating :( Service was of course excellent I had mentioned in the reservation that it was one of our birthdays and the first thing they did when greeting us is find out who's it was. The restaurant is known for its view and I will say it still looked nice even obscured by stormy skies. I will say with the storm outside it was nice to be able to have a meal in such a cozy place. We will be back again, plenty of other things to celebrate.

Chef special -ravioli ( I can't remember all that was in it, just that it was delicious )

Best place in the hood! We are regulars and never had a subpar meal. Cozy place, romantic.

The food, service, and ambiance are worth a visit to this neighborhood gem! We visited That's Amore with friends on a Friday, late afternoon into evening. It's a quaint neighborhood spot in the Mt. Baker neighborhood. We went for the Caprese, Bruschetta, and Bread n Butter to start. By-the-way, the bread is not on the house. We then turned our attention to the entrees. The Lasagna with Spicy Sausage, Bucatini Carbonera with Pancetta and Smokey Bacon, the Fettuccine Afredo with Shrimp, the Chef's Catch (which was Halibut with Mushroom Risotto), and the Dungeness Crab Pappardelle were all delightful. There wasn't a complaint in the group. We capped it off with a couple Tiramisus, a Decadence, and Cannoli. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and the view of the business district of Seattle from our table was amazing!

Had a lovely time on Valentine's Day at That's Amore! My husband made us an early dinner reservation and our food and experience was fantastic. I had a glass of Chianti Classico wine and my husband enjoyed his Peroni. For food we had the bread and butter and Caesar salad for starters and both for fantastic. The bread and butter assortment had a fluffy center and the different butters were well flavored. The Caesar salad had a nice crunch and the dressing was light and had the perfect touch of the anchovy flavor. For main courses we enjoyed the rigatoni bolognese which was fresh and al dente. Then we also enjoyed the carbonara pasta which we loved the pancetta in. One of the better carbonara pastas I've had, other than the ones I've had in Italy. The restaurant inside had a sweet homey feel and was a perfect Valentine's Day feel. Our waitress was also lovely and was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations.

First off, the location is unbeatable. We had a seat right next to the window with a view to downtown Seattle. The cozy lighting and atmosphere was perfect for our anniversary dinner. The waitstaff were really friendly and warm. They gave us a complementary dessert, and multiple staff members wished us a happy anniversary. We enjoyed every single thing we ate. The meatballs were savory and delicious, the bread was warm and crisp, and the shrimp in the pasta were perfectly cooked. We absolutely enjoyed our meal and the time we spent there. We were visiting from out of town, and it's now on our list of places that we have to visit on any future trips.

Pasta with crabmeat!!! Also the side of bread! Yes all of it amazing.

Absolutely converted me to an Italian food fan. Normally I consider pasta super overpriced for what you get however, their pasta is stunning the flavors spot on order the bread with three different types of butter. One was a garlic one was like an herb mix and then just a plain butter The most amazing bread ever I could order just that for a meal. My sister had Bolognese was very good. I tried it and I had a menu special for the evening beautiful pasta with crab and a cream sauce. It was stunning and of course the view is spot on.

We got the Caesar salad and special amore pizza along with the rigatoni pizza and the crab special pasta. The rigatoni was ok. The crab special was sooo good along with the salad and amore special. Although the pizza is on the smaller side. The service was fast and server was very attentive, and the ambiance is on the quieter side.

Cute little restaurant in an out of the way neighborhood. It has a distant view, but from our table it was a little hard to see. The food was good, but a little pricier for most pasta places. I had the boar pappardelle and my friends had the crab pappardelle. We all enjoyed the dishes. Service was efficient and helpful. There is a 20% service charge - but I was told that you can use that as your tip or have it removed and add your own tip or add more. We were celebrating a birthday and they comped us a dessert! So nice! There is street parking.

That's Amore is a very good Italian Restaurant. The view of Seattle from the restaurant is incredible. This is a great place to visit for a date or special. We ordered the bread and butter (doesn't come with the meal) and Amore salad for appetizers, and linguini and Chicken Parmesan for entrees. The bread and butter was exceptional, it came with 3 unique butters that were infused with herbs and vegetables. The salad was very good, and had a great balance of flavors. We enjoyed the entrees, but the entrees had a few minor issues. The linguini was covered in a lemon sauce. The lemon was a little overpowering in the sauce, that it took away from the other ingredients in the dish. I added black pepper to the dish which neutralized the flavor and balanced the dish. The Chicken Parmesan was slightly overcooked, but the entree had good flavor. Aside from the few missteps in our entrees, the meal was amazing, and the ambience at this restaurant is unmatched. I would definitely visit again.

We two had dinner. Highlights are the view and the ambiance. Neighborhood restaurant worth dining at if you live nearby. SERVICE: 3.5. Attentive and friendly. 20% service charge included in bill. FOOD: 3.0. - Grilled Pear Salad: 3.0. We split a salad. OK. - Fungo Davi (appetizer plate): 3.5. Mushrooms were good with bread (ordered separately). Bread comes toasted, and should be eaten before it cools down. - Linguine: 2.5. Shrimp was rather salty for us. - Bucatini Carbonara: 3.0. - Dessert - Chocolate Decadence: 2.0. Way too sweet for our tastes. Really sweet. - Dessert - Cannoli: 3.0. AMBIANCE: 4.0. We dined indoors as it was a grey evening. Tables nicely-spaced and comfortable. Simple, inviting interior. Excellent view over Seattle from the windows on rear wall. Our table was in second row away from wall and well-positioned to take advantage of view. There are 2 tables and half of another that are right next to the windows; one is next to the 2 bathrooms but the positives of the view will probably trump the negative of the bathroom traffic for most folks.

Fun intimate spot in south Seattle. Brought my family here for an early dinner. We walked in without a reservation with no problem. Super kid friendly staff that offered my daughters paper and crayons to color. Also offered to order the kids meals right away, which was a nice gesture knowing we walked in hungry! I got the crab pappardelle pasta special which was a huge portion of crab and fresh pasta. My husband got the bolognese, both delicious dishes. Kids pasta was a bit pricey but everything tasted great and felt very welcome. They have a great view of downtown Seattle and will be back for a date night!

I got fifth overall, if anybody cares, guys. Since I hadn't eaten a proper lunch and basically wanted to combine lunch and dinner into one meal, I ordered a couple of small plates. First, I got the flatbread with coal-roasted baba ganoush, citrus syrup, and eggplant molasses. The flatbread and baba ganoush came out first and were pretty decent. Nothing necessarily to write home about, but a good start to the meal. For my second plate, I ordered the lamb ribs with harissa barbecue sauce, whipped garlic, pickled red onions, and herbs. I sat outside, and when the lamb ribs came out, they were definitely different from the kind of ribs I'm used to. I normally think of traditional barbecue or baby back ribs, whereas these had more of a Mediterranean-inspired preparation. They were a little messy to eat, but the combination of the harissa barbecue sauce, whipped garlic, pickled onions, spices, and herbs made them pretty interesting. The lamb was tasty, although it didn't completely blow me away. I'd probably put the ribs themselves around a 3.5/5. Overall, though, Ciudad was a pretty good choice, especially if you like Mediterranean-inspired food and want something a little different from traditional barbecue. I'll round the overall experience up to 4/5. And yes -- ciudad means "city" in Spanish. The more you know, guys. What immediately caught our attention (for obvious reasons) was the bold sign: LIVE KING CRAB. We walked in and were instantly impressed. Large water tanks filled with live Dungeness crab and live king crab, crystal-clear water, and absolutely no fishy smell--always an excellent sign. The space feels more like a clean, well-run warehouse set up for both wholesale and retail, not a typical seafood market. A gentleman working there quickly came over and started chatting with us about crab. Super knowledgeable and friendly. They offer a wide selection: live, fresh, and frozen crab, Japanese scallops, fish, and a variety of shellfish. We considered the live king crab, but it was honestly too big for the two of us to handle in a hotel kitchen--and definitely would've been a splurge. So, plan B: I called my sister-in-law to see if she'd like some frozen king crab legs. She said yes immediately. The gentleman showed us the frozen options, and the king crab legs were long, meaty, and impressive--similar in size to what Costco carries, but priced better. We ended up negotiating a great deal and purchased a box of their Party Pack King Jumbo Crab Legs for her. Later that evening, she surprised her daughter with a king crab birthday dinner, and they reported the legs were super meaty and absolutely delicious. Safe to say, we'll definitely keep Seattle Seafood Center in mind for future seafood splurges.
