I stopped by on a Monday afternoon to try their happy hour menu. Street parking was easy. Service was friendly and I was immediately greeted when I walked in. The dining space was clean, but a little on the smaller side, so I could see it filling up during peak hours. The low lighting created a calm atmosphere. There were even two televisions above the bar to watch sports highlights. The happy hour menu consists of some starters, pastas, half pizzas, and drinks. I started with the garlic bread (focaccia, garlic, butter, Parmesan, chive). The bread had a good texture and was very flavorful. I also ordered the rigatoni (tomato, basil, burrata). It was perfectly al dente and the portion size was generous. For pizza, I ordered the simple cheese with basil added. Tried G.H Pasta and Pizza for the first time with a friend and it was such a great experience overall. We went on a Saturday around 7pm and were able to grab a booth as a walk-in after only about a 5-minute wait, which was a nice surprise. We started with cocktails--flavor-wise they were really good, but definitely on the stronger side. Not totally my personal preference, but I can see a lot of people enjoying that. The Caesar salad was a great starter. Super flavorful, and I especially loved the croutons. The portion size was perfect for sharing. The Carbonara pizza (seasonal) was AMAZING. The runny egg on top really took it to the next level, and the flavors all worked so well together. I don't usually eat pizza crust, but this one was too good to leave behind. For pasta, we tried a couple dishes. The spaghetti noodles were thick and delicious, and the meat sauce had a really great balance--plenty of meat without being too heavy. We also tried the campanelle, which just wasn't my personal favorite, but it was my first time having that shape. I've realized I just prefer a classic meat sauce. They do automatically include a 22% gratuity, but honestly the service was so great that I would have tipped the same anyway. A bit on the pricier side, but not outrageous for quality Italian food. They have bar seating, tables, and outdoor seating, and the whole vibe is super cute--perfect for a date night, dinner with family, or even a birthday celebration. I've driven by here many times and just recently visited for my birthday. A serious plus for me in choosing a restaurant is that you can make a reservation and that there is parking!!! Very cute place and everyone very friendly. Full bar service and a generous pour. Three of us split: Calamari - really crisp coating and not thick and battery. Flavorful dip Fig and prosciutto pizza. On that we all agreed on and server said better choice than the mushroom. I think it might have been even better if there was a handful of arugula tossed on Spaghetti and meatballs - although it looked like the thick noodles you got out of a can as a kid, it was anything but that. Unfortunately, The food was simply disappointing, the tonnareli tasted like it was only suggesting flavor, seasoning was nonexistent and it was oily. The same goes for the campanelle. Both the spaghetti and rigatoni were salty and lacked depth. The pizzas were good but nothing mind blowing. To make it worse, my plate came at least 10-15 minutes later than the rest of the table. I had first been to the GH Pasta Co restaurant back in 2019 for lunch at the Denny Triangle location, finding it in West Seattle was a nice surprise. I ordered three family-style dishes that were absolutely phenomenal - a caesar salad, The Classic which was a pepperoni pizza with an incredible 2-day aged sourdough crust, and their campanelle pasta, handmade and crafted from scratch that same day. Each bite was a reminder of why I frequented that spot for lunch before. I ended up at GH Pasta & Pizza after getting totally bummed out by a Halloween light show nearby--someone vandalized the place and the whole thing got canceled. I was already in the area and didn't want to just go home disappointed, so we decided to come here instead, and I'm glad we did. The restaurant has a really cool, contemporary vibe: open layout, no weird walls, just a clear view of the bar and the dining area. It's modern and a little loud in a good way--people talking, music in the background, it feels lively without being chaotic. We ordered three pizzas: cheese, pepperoni, and mushroom. I forgot to take pictures, but the dough is what really stood out. You can tell it's a freshly made sourdough base--chewy, light, and super flavorful. The Caesar salad was also really good, simple but done right. For the kids, we got two orders of wings. Just a heads-up: these are full wings (drum, flat, and tip all attached), not the trimmed pieces you get at most places. Some of them still had a bit of feather on the skin, so if you're someone who needs your food super "clean" or prefers boneless wings, this might not be your thing. Otherwise, they're kind of fun if you don't mind working around bones and want something more old-school. Drinks were solid--the cocktail I had was made well and hit the spot. Our server was really nice, just not as attentive as I expected. The restaurant wasn't super slammed when we were there, but we didn't get checked on very often, so that part could use a little tightening up. I did a walk-in reservation for 2 people. We were seated within seconds and the location had just opened 9 months ago. The waiter was very enthusiastic and provided the history of the restaurant. Cute little pizza shop in West Seattle with a really good wine and a nice patio I have to say that the wine that we got which was fair in price was really good For food, we had meatballs, pizza, and salad. The meatballs for the price were not a lot (3) and were a little overcooked and dry. The salad was a really nice portion, very fresh and tasty. The pizza was good but nothing incredibly special. We originally got hooked on GH Pasta when they had a location in South Lake Union. The spot was always packed despite the small counter only seating and we loved the bite of their pasta and inventive dishes. We had the chance to go for dinner tonight at their new spot in West Seattle and we were again blown away by our meal. The pastas have a bite and the ingredients shine with flavors that aren't over complicated just delicious. The spaghetti and rigatoni were both fantastic as well as the side of meatballs (tender and well seasoned). The portions were so ample that took leftovers home. Also, the outdoor seating is not cold at all and is really quite nice. The kitchen is small but mighty, the meatballs are balanced and perfectly spiced while the garlic bread is unique with salt and cheese atop a garlicky focaccia. The pasta is also stellar. The rigatoni is drenched in a delicious vodka sauce and topped with a healthy dollop of fresh burrata. As well as that, the Caesar salad is delicious, you can taste each element and they complement each other perfectly. Finally, the tiramisu takes the cake for the best I have had, despite two trips to Italy. We were able to find street parking really easily. It was 6:00 pm on a Wednesday and they fit the 3 of us in. I think the spaghetti (beef & pork bolognese with mascarpone and mint) will not ever be forgotten. The oversized noodles were so fresh. This is a must-try! And it was my first time trying a place that makes its own noodles everyday but I felt the noodles were still a little harder the what it should be. The one thing I really didn't like was the dish that's like a risotto seems like small portions, kid size portion. And it took the longest to get to the table. This restaurant opened up a few months ago in West Seattle. It has gone through a few iterations in the last 4 years or so and now is G.H. Pasta and Pizza. Walking in it had a very cool vibe. The staff were very welcoming the minute we walked in. They have a full bar area where you can sit, drink and eat. We did not have any alcoholic drinks although they looked fantastic. We shared a few plates including meatballs and Parmesan bread. Amazing! We also shared a few pasta plates and a pizza, which I recommend so you can try more. It's worth it. this was very solid food and a place i'll go back to! here's the long and short of the experience: i opted to place an online order for evening pickup. that was easy enough. all the menu items were available and had good descriptions to allow for educated decisions. some even allowed for additional ingredients, removal of others or customization based on allergies (...this seemed very helpful for potential customers who might have varying needs in their overall to go order.) i arrived about 5 minutes ahead of the scheduled pick up time and was told it would be a couple of minutes to get the order together but five stars in terms of it being ready on time and packaged well for transport. the person who greeted me at the door was super polite as was the other individual who brought the boxed and ready food to me a couple of minutes later. i was invited to hang out at the bar but opted to just wait near the door since the wait wasn't going to be long. once the food arrived home and we sat down to try it, we can say this: the pizza, crust, toppings and overall flavor was fantastic! zero complaints and only praise! same for the rigatoni. it was light on the sauce but you can taste the in-house extrusion process because of its fresh, chewy texture. again, absolutely lovely dish and even more props for it being eaten off site and retaining such amazing taste after having spent 10 min in the car being transported. the tiramisu was great in terms of flavor and texture. one star off for the size of the slice. at the price point stated on the menu, i'd have appreciated a slightly more generous cut for two people to share but again, this is my only criticism and a minor one. we both agreed the flavor and quality of the food was great and i'm excited to return, either for take out or eating on site. if you've been to raccolto and know their level of pasta prowess, you can expect to find the same here. but i'd put in a plug to venture beyond the pasta and try the pizza: i doubt it'll disappoint! overall, bravo! read more

We were craving Italian cuisine and were supposed to go to G.H Pasta in Seattle but realized they closed early. After checking Yelp, we discovered this new location in west Seattle. Complimentary retailer parking was nearby so it was convenient. Luckily, we got here by 5pm and got sat right away. Ambiance was modern with industrial touches. Limited bar seating and dining tables. The server was friendly and attentive. We ordered garlic bread, arancini, blackberry cider, blood orange mocktail, campanelle, Rigatoni and the classic pizza. Since table was small, the server did a good job to course out and we enjoy all the dishes. Everything was delicious and It was wonderful experience. If you have been to the sister restaurants Haymaker and Raccolto here in West Seattle, you likely know what to expect here at GH. Very similar offerings to their sister restaurant and did not disappoint. Our waiter was Charlie and he was very attentive- shout out to the mozzarella appetizer which was basically a big square mozzarella stick but fancy. The chili crisp side sauce was AMAZING and I would go back just for that. The pasta was on point and in general I think this place will do well as they also have a bar with beers on tap and tv's. My wife and I are regular supporters of Raccolto, so we were anxious to try this new venture of the company. It did not disappoint us at all. Terrific meal, that featured great food and service. We started our experience with a couple of cocktails...one being the Negroni and the other being the Apricot Bellini. They were each perfect in balance and flavor. We brought a great Barolo with us, which the server Lucas was so gracious and opened it early to allow it to breathe and open up. We then tried the Arancini's. Incredible. The rice, the marinara sauce made it a perfect appetizer. We then split the Arugula salad as they are large (just like Raccolto). It was perfectly dressed with lemon, almonds and pecorino. The Garlic Bread is also a must have. Then we went into our main course with my wife having the Rigatoni, which featured tomato, basil, burrata. She prefers Mozzarella though and Lucas was excellent in accommodating her wishes. I had the Spaghetti, which had beef & pork Bolognese, mascarpone, mint. The mint was the highlight, as it added a great flavor. Of course we had to try the soft serve dessert. So fun. It had caramel flavors, and we were so glad we did have it. The entire experience was excellent. The music was at the perfect volume, and the restaurant was warm enough on such a cold night.
