Garlic bread delicious
Amy C.

First time here, the food was good so fresh. Specially the smoked fish, loved it. The service was good! Thank you Brie. The ambience was relaxing. Had a wonderful dinner with my friends.

I stopped by on a Monday afternoon to try their happy hour menu. Street parking was easy. Service was friendly and I was immediately greeted when I walked in. The dining space was clean, but a little on the smaller side, so I could see it filling up during peak hours. The low lighting created a calm atmosphere. There were even two televisions above the bar to watch sports highlights. The happy hour menu consists of some starters, pastas, half pizzas, and drinks. I started with the garlic bread (focaccia, garlic, butter, Parmesan, chive). The bread had a good texture and was very flavorful. I also ordered the rigatoni (tomato, basil, burrata). It was perfectly al dente and the portion size was generous. For pizza, I ordered the simple cheese with basil added. I liked the crust, but unfortunately the cheese easily slid off whenever I'd grab a slice.

Tried G.H Pasta and Pizza for the first time with a friend and it was such a great experience overall. We went on a Saturday around 7pm and were able to grab a booth as a walk-in after only about a 5-minute wait, which was a nice surprise. We started with cocktails--flavor-wise they were really good, but definitely on the stronger side. Not totally my personal preference, but I can see a lot of people enjoying that. The Caesar salad was a great starter. Super flavorful, and I especially loved the croutons. The portion size was perfect for sharing. The Carbonara pizza (seasonal) was AMAZING. The runny egg on top really took it to the next level, and the flavors all worked so well together. I don't usually eat pizza crust, but this one was too good to leave behind. For pasta, we tried a couple dishes. The spaghetti noodles were thick and delicious, and the meat sauce had a really great balance--plenty of meat without being too heavy. We also tried the campanelle, which just wasn't my personal favorite, but it was my first time having that shape. I've realized I just prefer a classic meat sauce. They do automatically include a 22% gratuity, but honestly the service was so great that I would have tipped the same anyway. A bit on the pricier side, but not outrageous for quality Italian food. They have bar seating, tables, and outdoor seating, and the whole vibe is super cute--perfect for a date night, dinner with family, or even a birthday celebration. Definitely a spot I'd come back to!

Refreshing mocktail

This place was very cute. It is small so I'd recommend making reservations. There's also a bar area as well. I had a mocktail that was delicious but I forgot what it's called. It was very refreshing! I had the truffle pasta and it was delicious! You can get hints of parm and truffle. The pasta was so light that I didn't feel heavy after eating this. The service was great and quick. I definitely will come back!

Cute bougie Pizza & Pasta restaurant. Small dining, reservations are a must! Great beverage options and for the non drinkers as well. While we loved the pizza, the homemade pasta excels here!

I had first been to the GH Pasta Co restaurant back in 2019 for lunch at the Denny Triangle location, finding it in West Seattle was a nice surprise. I ordered three family-style dishes that were absolutely phenomenal - a caesar salad, The Classic which was a pepperoni pizza with an incredible 2-day aged sourdough crust, and their campanelle pasta, handmade and crafted from scratch that same day. Each bite was a reminder of why I frequented that spot for lunch before. The fresh pasta was particularly outstanding - you can taste the care and craftsmanship in every bite. The service was excellent and very friendly. The ambiance was also very nice with candlelight on the table and mild music. Definitely recommend checking it out!

I did a walk-in reservation for 2 people. We were seated within seconds and the location had just opened 9 months ago. The waiter was very enthusiastic and provided the history of the restaurant. The rigatoni pasta was seasoned well and came out within 5 minutes of us ordering. The arugula was cheesy and crunchy. We ordered the Classic pizza which was good as well. There is parking behind the building and indoor and outdoor seating. Reasons for Rating: +1 Excellent location and parking +1 Food taste really good +1 Customer service +1 Interior/atmosphere +1 Would return/recommend others

Cute little pizza shop in West Seattle with a really good wine and a nice patio I have to say that the wine that we got which was fair in price was really good For food, we had meatballs, pizza, and salad. The meatballs for the price were not a lot (3) and were a little overcooked and dry. The salad was a really nice portion, very fresh and tasty. The pizza was good but nothing incredibly special. I was really hoping to be blown away but it was just good. The service was ok. Did not feel the incredible welcome of hospitality. Unfortunately, I think I am just going to have to get used to that in Seattle... All in all a good spot to grab pizza and wine. Will be back

We stopped by after being picked up from the airport and we were glad we did! They had delicious pastas, pizzas, and salad and a great drink selection. We ordered the tonnarelli and the campanelle which were both really good- my favorite was the campanelle with the mushrooms and lemon zest. We had a lovely tiramisu and blueberry softserve to cap off the night. There are both indoor and outdoor seating, and the service was amazing. There's easy parking on the street. I know we'll definitely be back again the next time we visit Seattle!

GH Spaghetti

We originally got hooked on GH Pasta when they had a location in South Lake Union. The spot was always packed despite the small counter only seating and we loved the bite of their pasta and inventive dishes. We had the chance to go for dinner tonight at their new spot in West Seattle and we were again blown away by our meal. The pastas have a bite and the ingredients shine with flavors that aren't over complicated just delicious. The spaghetti and rigatoni were both fantastic as well as the side of meatballs (tender and well seasoned). The portions were so ample that took leftovers home. The service was great and loved the comfortable booths with the high ceilings. Looking forward to heading back although a bit nervous it will get more difficult to get reservations here!

This was my favorite with fresh mozzarella and basil. The sourdough crust is the best crust we've ever had!!!!!

Upon arrival the team was super friendly and attentive and wished me a happy birthday. We enjoyed the fluffy warm focaccia bread and the sliced meat plate to start. For my main meal I had the tagliatelle pasta and it was outstanding. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the flavors blended so well together, especially with my glass of Chianti. My husband's pasta was fantastic, which was surprising to me as I am not the biggest fan of mushrooms but it was brilliant! We enjoyed tiramisu for dessert and that was the perfect ending to the meal. The decor inside the building is beautiful and elevated for an intimate, cozy feel. Definitely will be back!

One thing I found interesting was that for reservation times between 6:00 and 7:00 PM, the only available option seemed to be patio seating. The restaurant has a parking lot, but compared to the size and popularity of the restaurant, it's fairly small. Finding a parking spot on a nice day in Alki can be challenging. The patio setup was a bit surprising for a restaurant of this caliber. As you can see from the photos, it felt more functional than inviting, and I expected a warmer atmosphere. Service was excellent. Our server was attentive, efficient, and communicated well throughout the meal. For food, the focaccia was the standout. It was fresh with a crispy exterior and a soft interior. The texture almost reminded me of something between bread and a croissant, and the olive oil served alongside it was excellent. The burrata was just okay for me. I wasn't a fan of the amount of spicy sauce on top, which overpowered some of the cheese's flavor. The tagliatelle was very good and met my expectations. The seafood special that night was salmon. It was cooked well and nicely prepared, but at $55 for a 6-ounce portion, it felt quite expensive. For dessert, we ordered the tiramisu, which was served in a mason jar. We were told to dig straight down to get all the layers in each bite, but it was served with a spoon that made that a little difficult. The presentation was unique, but the eating experience felt somewhat awkward. Overall, the food was good, service was excellent, but the pricing felt high for what we received. Between the limited seating choices, challenging parking, and decent-but-not-amazing food, I left feeling that the experience didn't quite match the hype.

We are having a friend over for dinner this week who we have not seen in over a year, so we wanted to make it extra nice. This is a PERFECT place to stop for a host/hostess/housewarming gift, FYI. There is local honey, wine, meats, tamales, cheese, fresh pasta they make themselves, pantry items and canned goods like St. Jude's tuna. Plus Sweet Alchemy ice cream! I grabbed a jar of pickled asparagus and had to resist buying some really tempting dip they make in-house. As I was checking out, the staff person mentioned that the Tall Grass baked goods in the case were free because they were two days old and would be replaced the next morning by a fresh batch. So nice! I brought home a savory spinach breakfast item with me, which my partner greatly appreciated. Hint: Make sure you have cash on hand for a tip! They can't include tips on card purchases.
