The same team from the time when it was im Madison area. I love some of the newly added menu items along with rhe old favorites. I loved the beef tender rib over the risotto. That was simply amazing. What's amazing is Hugo/George, the bar manager still remembered my drink just.the way I like them It was a perfect drink to finish my long day at work. Actually, I think itz the best most smoothest dirty martini I ever had. So glad to see that they are back

So the crux of my review is that the food was really tasty, but they had quite small portions especially for price. I had an app and a pasta and left hungry. My partner shared the app with me and had a flatbread and was also somewhat hungry too. The service was really good through most of the meal, though when they got busy later we did wait a little while to ask for the check after plates were cleared, but we weren't in a hurry so it was fine and the service was overall very attentive. The ambiance was pretty cool because it was classy and modern, though I didn't love our table behind the column as it made it difficult to see the windows. Would recommend a reservation if you're coming at 6 or later.

Pleasantly surprised with this restaurant! I'm a local to the neighborhood and have been waiting for this Italian spot to open! When I saw they were offering a Restaurant Week deal, I knew I had to try it. I made a reservation for two about a week in advance for a weeknight and it was already pretty filled up, so be sure to make a reservation in advance. Right when you walk in, it's a jaw dropping entrance that you wouldn't know from the outside. The host was super attentivene with a friendly demeanor, greeting us immediately. We were seated at the table for two right at the front so it was bustling, with the door opening, people walking in and waiting for their table. Since our dinner started at 5:30PM we got to see the transition from early evening into the later evening. It got pretty loud but that's what to expect. Absolutely loved the European moody ambiance with arches, wooden beams, candles, and artwork. Since it was restaurant week, pretty simple menu to select from. It was four courses and it was two of us so we got to try a lot of things. We started with the caesar salad and rainbow carrots. The salad was lightly seasoned and fresh while the carrots were glazed, roasted and on the sweeter side. A nice light start to dinner. Next was the lobster tagliarini and short rib ravioli. The tagliarini was so thin and light, and the sauce was delicious. The ravioli was my favorite, with a generous amount of meat and complimenting sauce. For the next course, we got scallops and steak. The scallops were cooked perfectly with a creamy herb sauce on top. The sauce was the highlight for sure. The steak was cooked exactly how we liked it with mashed potatoes. So tasty! We finished with dessert: olive oil cake and hazelnut affogato. Together they paired very well and was a fabulous end to the meal! Additionally, the service was wonderful. Our server was so friendly. Our plates and utensils were replaced a few times, water was refilled quickly, and we were asked multiple times how everything was going. Even when the food came out a little quicker than expected while we were still on our first course, our server apologized but it was all good for us. I was pleasantly full from everything and so happy with we tried this place out! Service was great and the ambiance felt like nothing I've experienced in Seattle before. I will definitely come back again to try the pizza!

had a lovely dinner sitting at the bar on a Monday night. the ambiance is incredible and felt so cozy on an otherwise dreary night. Started with the Caesar, which easily could be shared between two. The short rib risotto was some of the best risotto I've had - didn't leave a single morsel behind. Ended my dinner with an affogato. Service was great, the crowd was lively and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Bar Cantinetta nails that perfect "night-out" vibe. The atmosphere is super vibey with warm lighting and a lively crowd -- it is slightly loud, so expect more of an energetic buzz than a quiet dinner spot. Service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was attentive without hovering and staff gave great recommendations. And the food? Phenomenal. Every dish we ordered was great, feeling authentic and fresh With my favorite being Tagliatelle Carbonara. If you're looking for a spot that blends ambiance, great service, and standout dishes, Bar Cantinetta is absolutely worth it. Would definitely come back.

Absolutely incredible experience at Spinasse. One of the rare occasions where I truly have no…read morecritique to give! I'll start off by saying that I RARELY give out a 5 star review. To me, a full 5 stars, means the restaurant goes above and beyond. Food, Ambience, and Service all have to be on point, and Spinasse has it all. You walk in and it's warm and welcoming. It's a fantastic mix of classic Italian decor mixed with a modern casual restaurant with large viewing windows of the kitchen. You're then met by extremely friendly and helpful staff. They've got answers to your questions, they're great at conversation, but not too in your business. Fantastic service. As I said, I have no critique to give, so I'll just try and describe what I tasted. We started with the ANTIPASTO MISTO DELLA CASA which is essentially small portions of all of their antipasta. This can rotate seasonally. Every single dish in this was amazing. We think the Capricciosa salad was our favorite out of the bunch, but everything was fantastic. We then ordered two half orders of Pasta, the TAJARIN CON BURRO E SALVIA and the TAJARIN AL RAGU. The TAJARIN CON BURRO E SALVIA is essentially pasta in an emulsified butter and sage sauce. I'm not gonna lie, I had low expectations for such a simple dish, but WOW. Sage can be VERY overpowering, but not in this dish. You taste the sage, but as a compliment not as an overpowering flavor. The ragu was also fantastic. The Tajrain by the way - perfectly al dente. It's such a thin pasta that it could easily be overcooked, but they nailed it. Then the Pan-roasted king salmon with sauteed chanterelles, crimini brodo and thyme oil... omg... Perfect pairing. Crispy skin, tender king salmon, and those mushrooms... one of my favorite dishes I've had ever. Not too salty, mushrooms were perfectly - al dente? not too chewy, but not too mushy. Perfect. Dessert was also seasonal - a sort of cake with cream, wafers, chocolate and hazelnuts on top. Phenomenal. If you're visiting SEA, or live here, please do yourself a favor and add this to your list!

Ordered: - Crespelle…read more - Tajarin con burro e salvia - butter and sage pasta. yummy. - Cavatelli al ragu di costolette - Cavatelli shape works really well with the ragu sauce. - Risotto di mais - Corn and tomato combo was good. Alternating it with the Butter/sage pasta was really nice. It was a tad too sweet near the end when we ran out of butter sage to alternate with. I don't think I would be able to eat this on its own, would get flavor fatigue. - Maiale brasato al latte - Zucchini estive con salsa agliata - Pomodori - hierloom tomatoes were huge and so yummy. Would recommend getting a reservation. Parking garage next door that wasn't too expensive.

Not only to experience the food, but the DREAMY outdoor space I had seen all over social media. Service was excellent from start to finish. We managed to get an outdoor seat (yay!) and the vibes were immaculate from the start. It definitely gives off more romantic/date night vibes, but it was also fun to experience with some ladies from my team. Perfect for a girl's night! Obsessed with the string lights, the fountain, and the overall atmosphere. You somehow don't even realize you're in the middle of Seattle when you're here. The menu has so many options which made it so hard to choose, but I ended up going with the Fettucini ai Fungh - fresh fettuccini pasta with wild mushrooms served in a light cream sauce topped with truffle oil, and I also added chicken. When I say this is probably my FAVORITE pasta I've had in Seattle, I'm not kidding... I almost cleared my plate which is hard for me as my eyes are always bigger than my stomach, but I made it happen! The cream sauce was rich but not too heavy, and the truffle oil was prominent without being crazy overpowering. 10/10 absolutely no notes. Hands down would have trouble ordering something else when I visit again. Without a doubt, I will be returning in the future for a date night!
