I'm a regular at the north long lake location. This is the best pizza in traverse city. Nice craft beer selection and awesome salads too!

Staying at the commons for the week. We just arrived Traverse City, and want something easy so we drove there for take-out. Place looked lean and cosy and was greeted well, but that's where things went downhill. We were asked if it was for here or takeout. We clearly stated takeout and were handed the menu to order. The waiter noticed we were having some difficulties ordering and suggested the kids menu for my daughter (who doesn't like pizza). He said it was Sunday and kids menu items were half off. So we ordered chicken fingers, all-meat xl pizza for the rest of the kids and a large supreme deluxe for the grownups, all with "extra" sauce. When we were about to pay, another waitress came up and rudely said that the half off kids menu was for dine in only. We asked since we weren't told this and even suggested by our waiter this fact, and we also had a large order that she please honor the deal. She walked away and called someone on the phone. After a few minutes she came back and said that it was dine in only and no exceptions. We pointed out on the specials blackboard behind the counter and the kids menu we were given didn't specify dine in only, as some of the other days specials did. She said it was written on the menus at the tables (we were not ever seated, how were we to know that?) and they couldn't give the discount. A whole $2.50 on a over $40 order. The pizza was just ok, we ordered extra sauce but was extremely disappointed on the tiny amount of sauce there was. If the staff wasn't so rude I might go back. Please tell your staff to check their attitudes at the door and when the offer a discount (even if in error) just honor it, ESPECIALLY if it's only 2.50. 2 stars because the pizza didn't suck. read more

Greatest pizza in traverse city! I consider myselfa regular. All the workers are kind and polite! They've been named greatest pizza in traverse city three years in a row! Sometimes, when on vacation, you don't feel like going out to dinner and order a pizza to be delivered to your hotel room, There was an ad for That'sa Pizza in the hotel room, so we ordered from them. Well, for some it's a pizza, for others, who knows. For us, not really, or, at least not very good. The highlights were that it was delivered hot and on time and the price was right. The pizza itself was 'extra crispy ' on the edges-burnt edges. It was very thin, almost soggy. It was one very limp pizza where if you held onto the crust, the pizza toppings would slide off the non-supportive crust. Any thinner and I would be able to see through it. The pizza itself wasn't all that tasty. I am not sure what it was about this pizza, but about 2 hours after eating, I felt as if I had a lead weight lay in my stomach. Besides delivery, there is one more "good" thing to say: when ordering mushrooms, they ask if you want fresh or canned mushrooms. We got the fresh and cannot think of anyone who wants canned. We wouldn't recommend ordering a pizza from here. read more

We were staying right on the lake on long lake road. When we called for delivery, and gave the person our address they were clueless as to where we were, being that we were on vacation at the lake, we were not exactly sure either. The fact that we gave these people our address and they still could not figure where we were was shocking. When I put in the gps for their location it said they were 2.4 miles away, keep in mind we were both located on long lake road. In addition, the vacation rental company put this pizza place on long lake road as a place that delivers, this was the only pizza place advertised for delivery in my rental. With all this, the morons answering the phones had no interest or no intention to deliver the pizza. The manager better identify these people quick and fire them, what a detriment to their business. We ended up getting take out at north peak that night, and ironically driving past "that's a pizza" on long lake rd! read more

Ordered pizza from here last night as a last resort of food. It was some of the best pizza I've ever had. It was better than the wedding reception food I just had a few hours prior. If I'm up in TC again, I'll def be ordering from here. read more

In my opinion, this is the best pizza in the Traverse City area. My family frequents the Long Lake Rd location often. They never disappoint. The menu is great and the service is wonderful. We like to order our pizza with thin crust and just a little well done. There is a kids play area and video games. The kids love it! Delicious food at an excellent price point. We ate lunch at the restaurant--had great sandwiches! They were on locally-made multi grain bread, served with kettle chips. They can't get the order right. When the incorrection is brought to the managers attention the manager doesn't care. The salads are okay but a large to them is a small that comes in a little box. This is my favorite place to grab pizza in Traverse City. They have a good family atmosphere. The kids can play in the back of the restaurant while the adults enjoy a cold local microbrew. Most importantly, the pizza is awesome. read more

Just ordered pizza from here today for the first time... and the last. We ordered two pizzas and one was made wrong. I called back and they said we could get a free one next time or get one remade. We said we wanted one remade because the one they gave us was awful the way it was made. (I didn't say that last part, though) Then she tells me that we would have to pay for another delivery fee and it would be yet another 45 minutes. I think it's ridiculous they charged us a second delivery fee when it wasn't our fault she put the order in wrong. She then decided it would be a good idea to hang up on me. Then when the guy came back to deliver our correct pizza, he was also rude. Just handed us the pizza and said nothing. Didn't even make eye contact. The customer service here is absolutely pathetic.
