Griese and Csonka were teammates and won back-to-back Super Bowls together. Griese was the NFL MVP in 1971 (the season before the team's first league championship) and Csonka was MVP of Super Bowl VIII (1973). Csonka leads the Dolphins all-time in rushing yards (6,737) and rushing touchdowns (53). Marino was NFL MVP in 1984. Both Griese and Marino played their entire professional careers for the Dolphins. Marino played under Shula for the first 13 of his 17 seasons. One of the most popular NFL players of his era, Marino played in only one Super Bowl (Super Bowl XIX in 1985) and is still the winningest quarterback to never win a Super Bowl. Another Dolphin great, defensive end Jason Taylor (1997-2007, 2009, 2011), was a six-time Pro Bowler and the NFL's all-time leader in touchdowns (9) among defensive linemen. As a first-time F1 attendee, I was thrilled by the close-up view of the racing, the helpful and passionate fellow fans (shout-out again to those super-knowledgeable teens who enhanced my understanding), and perks like the Mercedes lounge that made parts of the weekend feel special. The Beach Grandstand turned out to be a superb choice; it gave me a great view of the most exciting section of the track, and the crowd around me was fun and friendly. I came away with fantastic memories of the race itself, which truly lived up to the hype. On the negative side, the logistics and organization are left with much to be desired. The traffic management and lack of a smooth exit strategy were a big letdown, it's something I hope the organizers and the city seriously improve for future races, because it did tarnish the experience. Also, while I appreciated having access to premium lounges, the Chase Sapphire Lounge, particularly, was more trouble than it was worth due to long lines and limited access. These things might seem small compared to the race, but after paying steep prices (or, in my case, being lucky enough to get a ticket gifted), you want every part of the event to feel enjoyable, not just the race itself. Overall, I'd give the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix 2025 about 3.5 out of 5 stars. It was undeniably exciting and memorable, and I'm so glad I went, but the operational hiccups, especially with transportation, really detracted from an otherwise world-class event. I never had season tickets to the games but always accept last minute free tickets from friends. The pre-paid parking passes are like gold and almost as costly. The Hard Rock Stadium is a cool name but most of my experiences here were during the Joe Robbie Stadium banner. Fun times at the games where I only will splurge on a $20.00 can of domestic beer with an oversized salted pretzel. the atmosphere during the games are exhilarating whether up in the nosebleed section or down on the lower level fifty yard line. Guys, please at least get to the playoffs in 2026 - fingers crossed.

The park was moved from its original site at Wellman Field about a half-mile away to the Henry D. Perry Education Center's recreational field to make way for the development of townhomes. Henry D. Perry Park is named in honor of Dr. Henry D. Perry who along with his wife Margarette were one of the pioneer families who shaped Miramar. Mr. Perry settled in this area after the 1926 hurricane demolished the ice cream plant he and his brothers, Lonnie and Carl, had started. A discovery that he could produce milk cheaper than buying it led Mr. Perry to owning the 1,200-acre Perry Dairy Farm. As development grew in the area the farm was sold off piece by piece. North Perry Airport, Henry D. Perry Middle School, Annabel Perry Elementary School, Perry Park, and Calder Race Track now cover areas of the old dairy farm. The Perry Park Wellman Field was previously the field of the Henry D. Perry Educational Center. It was developed by a partnership between the City of Miramar and the School Board of Broward County. The Park is available to the public weekday evenings and all day on the weekends and holidays. Use is restricted to the students during school days. Park amenities include an open play field area, a 200-meter oval running track with a 100-meter straight away, a shade covered playground , table tennis tables, and a ¼ mile walking path with exercise stations. The basketball and racquetball courts were renovated. The park also has public restrooms and water fountains. The new Perry Park is part of the Historic Miramar Innovation and Technology Village project that plans to "create high-quality housing, an innovation and technology hub, a public safety complex, commercial mixed-use opportunities, and open space that integrates into the existing community and links the various surrounding public and private uses."
