I didn't realize it, and drove on it just a mile or so before getting to a place I could put air in it. The next morning, I was trying to find a place that could come tow it or put air in so I could drive it to be fixed, since that service was covered by our insurance. I called McCall's, and the call was sent to voicemail. While I was talking with my brother about the tire over the phone, I got a call back from Bill McCall. I returned the call, and he said they could come put air in it. When Jeff arrived less than 15 minutes later, he surprised me by saying HE would take the car to the shop, leave his truck at my house, and then bring my car back when they were finished. I thought that was pretty awesome, but they topped themselves by bringing it back and saying "no charge"!They also turned the tire around, because it had a noticeable mark on the tire from where I drove it flat. I was blown away!! Where on earth do you get that kind of service these days? So glad I went with a local company. They've been in the same spot for so long, they have to be doing things right or the business wouldn't have lasted. They looked at it, quoted a price, got the parts there in a couple hours, and fixed it the next morning when I dropped my truck off. They said that they fixed the radio slot because the radio was loose, they folded 2 pieces of foam rubber and put it on each side with no front plate because they broke it. We had asked them to do a lot of little things and they did none of them. They had our car for two weeks and did basically nothing. But you get charged for hours and somehow they claim to have spent a lot of time on it, I really don't know how. The shop manager told me that even though I would be paying the same hourly rate as other smaller jobs, he did not want to have his staff do it because it was too hard. He said that he would rather do a bunch of smaller jobs such as brakes and oil changes than one large larger job even though the pay would be the same. This doesn't make any sense to me at all. He indicated that he was too poorly staffed, lacking Talent to complete larger jobs. The manager was engaging and was polite, but at the same time, dogmatic and insulting to a degree. Not recommended, keep on looking for a shop that is not afraid of your car. I wouldn't be surprised if they come on here and try to turn this around and state some positive things about their business in an effort to use it as free, marketing or advertising, but, enter at your own risk. They even detailed the engine compartment. My great Pyrenees rides in my car and they got every spec of dog hair. I felt bad for the detailed. I also recommend them to just detailed your car.
