So good, in fact, that I came back from Ohio to get my bridesmaid dress altered. The bridesmaid dress just needed to be taken in. I got it hemmed for cheap back in Ohio, so I just needed it taken in. Like I said, the hem was for cheap, so they didn't do a good job. That's why I went to Jodee's - I knew they would do an excellent job taking the dress in. To be clear, I did NOT ask for the dress to be hemmed, just taken in so it fit better on the sides. Well, she saw how bad the hem-job was and redid for me, without charge. The prices are fair, the ladies who run the business are delightful, and the quality is amazing...I would happily drive the 5 hours home just to get another dress done. Thank you!

Specifically, I've had suit pants hemmed and suit sleeves shortened here. When the lady (assuming the wife) has assisted me I have always had a good experience. She's polite, and if you make any requests she tries to accommodate the request. However, more than twice now I have encountered the man (assuming husband). He's not friendly at all. I went in on a morning when no one else was there. I asked for pants to be hemmed and asked if I could have them by end of day. He took 30 seconds to think of an excuse that is believable and he told me no. His excuse was "the machine isn't available" on Mondays. In the past I have made the same exact request from the wife and she always accepts the business and applies an additional charge which has always been fine with me. But after today's unpleasant experience I've resolved never to go back here again. The man doesn't have a clue about what good customer service means.

The work was good, but extremely expensive for the alterations needed. The store is a small store but carries high quality suits, sport coats and shirts, but again at very high prices. If I was still working, I would probably shop for some. As I am retired, I only needed some alterations for a few sport coats for casual use. I do not plan to use them for that again, however I may buy some of their merchandise if the need arise.
