Beautiful bar which is connected to the InterCon. This place definitely has an upscale feel. I ordered an Old Fashion and it went down so smoothly. There was a nice balance between the fruit and the bourbon. Service was friendly and professional so much so that I ordered two .... My bad

Bestie and I did a staycation at the hotel and we dined here for breakfast and dinner because we did not want to leave the property. The menu is very limited but what I had was good. Fresh ingredients and very flavorful. Not sure why there is corn on the pasta dish though. I server was Friendly and efficient. I feel they should have complimentary bread as part of service as the appetizer menu itself was unappealing. I would go back if I'm in the area but would not make a special trip to dine here

I had the pleasure of dining here for breakfast and lunch. This restaurant is located inside of the IHG hotel in Atlanta, however, you can enter the restaurant from the street. The ambiance is nice and elegant. The decor is very esteemed. The class definitely matches that of the hotel itself. Welcomed and greeted by a host, we were able to get seated without a reservation, although, I do recommend making one. I opted for the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and while that may sounds basic, it most definitely was not. It was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have had. For lunch, I had the Americano Burger which consists of a Wagyu patty. Again, delicious! I would've loved to give this restaurant 5 stars. What prevented that was an issue with gnats. There are flowers that are on the table. I'm not sure if that was the issue, but it made it hard for me to fully enjoy my experience as I had to keep shooing them away from my food. They were present for both breakfast and lunch. Even still, this restaurant is a must try and I will definitely dine again when I am back in town.

    Meatballs and Caesar Salad

I ordered room service from the Americano while staying at the Intercontinental Buckhead. What I liked? The Caesar salad was amazing. The breadcrumbs instead of traditional croutons were a nice touch, the lettuce was fresh, and the dressing was light and flavorful. What could be improved? The flavor of the meatballs was great, you can't go wrong with basil, pomodoro, and stracciatella cheese, but I prefer my meatballs to be a bit more tender. These were very dense which suggests they were overworked during mixing or had too much egg/breadcrumb. All in all the dish was tasty, but I would've liked the meatballs to be more airy and less heavy.

The Americano is a high end restaurant located inside the Intercontinental Buckhead. The Wedge Salad was a good light starter. The Wagyu was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the fries were crisp. Asparagus had a slight "snap" texture with good taste. Staff here was attentive and made sure things were in order. The restaurant is on the romantic side, and some may find it a bit too dim.

This drink had the word "trouble" in it, that's all I recall!

Intro - A group of coworkers and I popped into spot for a nightcap after an event. Ambiance/Vibe - 5/5 This bar/restaurant is located in the Intercontinental Buckhead and is quite swanky, as you might imagine. It was nighttime when we visited and the vibe was perfect for a night cap, after dinner drinks, type of vibe. Service 5/5 Our waitress was attentive and quick. Kept the libations coming. Not much more to could ask for! Food N/A Food was not ordered during this visit Drinks 5/5 The drinks were well made, generous pours and reasonably priced. They have some in-house specialty cocktails. I don't recall the names of what I ordered but they were tasty. Final Verdict 5/5 If you're looking for a after dinner, after work, wine down, and happen to be in the area, this is a great option. They even have happy hour with various specials available as well.

Came here on a Sunday night and sat at the bar. Ironically was in town during the college football championship game so it was a bit busy at the bar. Olivia was great and very friendly and made sure my drinks were full. The bolognese pasta was a bit too rich for me, the cheese sauce they put on top was a bit much. I wish the branzino was a bit lighter, the capers were not needed. But it was cooked well. My favorite was the potato puree haha

My husband and I had an incredibly thoughtful birthday celebration at The Americano. Everyone went above and beyond to make our dinner special. Upon being seated, our table was tastefully decorated with rose petals & a warmly greeted by our waiter. He gifted us a champagne toast & a delicious pair of rice balls to celebrate the occasion. We decide to split a couple items for dinner, starting with the Ceaser salad & meatballs. The Ceaser salad was special, there was a spicy crunch that made each bite flavorful. We shared the half chicken & charred broccolini as our main. The half chicken stole the show- it was perfectly prepared. My husband was tempted to ask for the recipe of the sauce. It was incredibly delicious! To say the least, the Americano dinner experience is 5 stars without a doubt.

Just got home from spending our Christmas dinner at the Americano inside the InterContinental hotel in Buckhead. We self parked and walked through the hotel, seeing all of the decorations around and made our way to the restaurant. It wasn't super busy when we arrived, but got busier as we ate. The fixed menu was spectacular and had an amazing array of tastes. To open, my dad got the wine flight, my mother got the affogato, and I had the cherry blossom martini....and then I had a second lol! Opening course was the Stromboli. We packed this up as our appetizers came out right away. The truffle ceasar salad with all romaine hearts (the way I love my salad!), fried ricotta balls, the meatballs and fregola, and scallop crudo were all super tasty. The scallop freaked my parents out a little but they ended up liking that the best! Mains: branzino, duck breast, and ribeye. Sides: polenta, creamed spinach, Parmesan popovers, and roasted heirloom carrots. Dessert: torrine, macarons, buche de Noel, and pear tart with a touch of gold leaf on it for tonight's holiday touch. We aren't big eaters so it was a lot to take home. Their 4 sauces were tasty but it would've been a nightmare to pack them up so that's the only thing we didn't take home- and the creamed spinach was gone too. Our server Gonzalo was tremendous. The runners were also fantastic. Never needed to ask for water refills, or anything else. It was really a great way to spend your Christmas dinner without making a mess at home. I can't wait to go back and try some pasta. The truffle fettuccine special made in a wheel of Parmesan looked crazy good but we would've eaten nothing if we got pasta on top of the meal. Thank you to the Americano for a wonderful meal that I could treat my parents to.

Pomodora cocktail and yes that's a tomato

Nice spot for a date night for locals. The only same-day reservation for a Saturday for dinner was 6:15 which was odd since the restaurant was mostly empty while we were there. Maybe they leave tables open for walk-in hotel patrons? In any event service was excellent with warm hospitality amongst all the staff from the host to the person who filled our water glasses. It took a little while for our drinks to come out (received after we finished the appetizer) which is the only critique. My bf had the Nero manhattan and I had the pomodora (can't remember if that was the exact name) which I couldn't resister because it had tomato in it! It was very refreshing. The tuna crudo appetizer was good, using fresh fish, although the greens it was served with was slightly too acidic for my taste. I loved the gnocchi and the sauce it was served in, plus the burrata atop the pillowy goodness. I wasn't able to eat the entire thing so they packed me a small box and I devoured it when I got home. My bf had the farro risotto, a good sized portion. The beef was perfectly tender and the addition of horseradish gave it an interesting taste. The farro was also tender but not mushy. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse and my bf had amaro latte. The mousse was a little loose for my liking but very light and airy, and a huge portion. The coffee drink was surprisingly delicious. Overall this was a technically well executed meal and experience. I only wish it wasn't part of a hotel because parking is such a pain. They do validate valet parking but the Intercontinental is always super backed up and the valet area is so small. We didn't see anywhere we could self- or street park without being a hotel guest or taxi. If you're staying at the hotel, eating at this restaurant is a no-brainer. It's cool when the restaurants of celebrity chefs actually live up to the hype.

From Dinner to Brunch (or is it from Brunch to Dinner?), it's safe to say The Americano is worth a visit any time of day! Our first experience was for dinner. The chef sent a small bite for our wait, and when we had the table side pasta-- it was a phenomenal experience. On another occasion, we joined for a jazz brunch with the chef. My fiancé had the steak and eggs while I ordered the French toast. For drinks, he ordered the table side bloody Mary cart and I was a little jealous of how cool it was! They bring carafes -one regular and one spicy- and all the toppings, then fix it to your preference. After trying it, I can say it is also very delicious. My espresso martini was lovely and went great with the French toast! The french toast was made perfectly-- so light and fluffy yet so flavorful. Such a fabulous restaurant!

Honest constructive feedback for an upscale hotel restaurant..I was staying at an another nearby local hotel and decided to try the Americano..I went into this restaurant on Nov 24th at approximately 842 pm and sat at the nearly empty bar with the knowledge that their kitchen didn't close till 10pm, so I felt like I was being respectful of their time as I don't like to be that kind of patron placing a big order 10 minutes before the kitchen closes. When I sat at the bar, I did not feel very welcomed by the male bar tender who seemed annoyed I was there..maybe it was befause I was dressed business causal and wearing a hoodie and not a hotel guest which he seemed to scoff at when I informed him I would be paying by card for my meal and not charging to my room. I rarely saw him the rest of the night and he never came back to check on me. That being said the old fashioned was skillfully crafted so I do give him credit for the cocktail. Next I order my meal which was the steak and fries priced at $70 for a 14 oz New York strip and Parmesan fries. I don't mind paying a premium in a hotel for a good steak, and despite a good presentation the steak was extremely fatty and chewy and not edible. I totally get it may have just been a bad cut, so I let the other female bartender know since the the other guys left, the manager on duty did follow up with me to offer to exchange it for something else and I opted to the pork chop which was amazing. Though I will say the manager never checked in with me afterward to ask how my experience was or how my food was or anything. The only truly positive experience of the night was from Holly the only bar tender that seemed to care about my experience here and also crafted a memorable smoked ol fashioned for my final cockatail. Overall, I spent close to $130 for an entree and 3 cocktails, which is on par for an upscale restaurant like this, and I get it, food mistakes happen, but felt Americano could have provided a better experience to a outside guest who had no problem paying a premium for good food and services, and I felt both were lacking tonight.

I was soooooooooooooooo excited to try Scott Conant's, The Americano. However, it left a little to be desired. The menu was small I thought, but I don't need a lot of selections, it makes it too hard to decide lol. It's pricey and portions are of course, small but cute. We settled on: Bread for the table: which came with butter that looked like a round mold of spicy brown mustard. It didn't taste like mustard thankfully but had a smoked flavor and was very light and airy. Shrimp cocktail app: 4 jumbo shrimp cooked well and good flavor Scallops entree with corn, zucchini, and tomatoes: the veggies were good but the scallops were sooooooooooo salty they were inedible. Had to send them back. Side of wild mushrooms with jus: pretty good Blueberry cheesecake: I'm not a big dessert fan, but this was delicious. Not too sweet or heavy or rich like cheesecake can be, which I loved Raspberry gelato: was ok After the scallop debacle, our server Kat had the manager come over who offered to get us different entrees, but the wait for everything had already taken so long and we were too tired to wait for replacement entrees, so we decided to just get dessert which wouldn't take nearly as long, and it didn't. Kat did provide good service overall, it was just such an inexplicable long wait for seafood in a restaurant that had only 4 other tables besides ours filled. They did remove the two scallop entrees from our bill and Kat brought out a cute lil plate with bon bons which we also were not charged for. Overall, I would say they did make it right. So I hate to say this, but I will skip this restaurant the next time I'm in Atlanta. 6/10

Making reservations was incredibly easy through OpenTable, and I was pleasantly surprised by the convenient valet service for only $3. It was an effortless start to what turned out to be an exceptional dining experience. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the host and promptly escorted to our table without any wait. Our waiter, Kevin, was phenomenal. He did an excellent job explaining the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations, and making sure everyone's needs were attended to throughout the afternoon. The service was attentive without being overbearing--truly excellent and unforgettable hospitality. We started with the Chargrilled Oysters, Oysters Rockefeller, and Calamari. Everything was satisfying, but the calamari was the standout for me. It had the perfect crunch and was quite literally fried to perfection. I would absolutely order it again. These appetizers are true staples and a great way to start the meal. We also enjoyed several rounds of cocktails. The bartender was able to execute a few off-menu, custom cocktails perfectly, and there were absolutely no complaints from our table. Everything was well-balanced and thoughtfully prepared. For my entrée, I ordered the Blackened Branzino with lemon-herb beurre blanc, paired with whipped potatoes and Vichy carrots. By far, this is one of the best seafood entrées I've had in Atlanta. I've had branzino at plenty of other restaurants, but this one? It clears the competition and has officially claimed the #1 spot on my list. The fish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the sauce and sides. The rest of our party had equally impressive meals. I had the opportunity to sample the 12 oz. Prime NY Strip, Blackened Salmon, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Brussels Sprouts, Green Beans, and Clam Chowder, and everything was amazing. There wasn't a single dish that disappointed. Overall, this was truly an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Great food, phenomenal hospitality, attentive service, and an atmosphere that made celebrating my mother's birthday feel special. I'm already looking forward to returning--and next time, I definitely want to check out the patio! A true standout for seafood in Atlanta. Highly recommend.

I came on a Friday afternoon during oyster happy hour, and it was packed. There's plenty of tables. However, because it was so busy, I'd recommend making a reservation in advance. I made one and came 5-10 min earlier and we were seated right away. But they gave us the table right next to the door so we'd feel the door opening and closing throughout our dinner. As for food, the $2 oyster deal applies to their regular oysters where you can get them grilled or raw and in either half a dozen or a dozen pieces. The oysters were overall kind of small. Honestly, the grilled oysters were better tasting than raw to me. The calamari was great though. However, the breading easily fell off. The garlic aioli is a good addition for more flavor combos. I wish the sauce could have been a little bit spicier but that's a personal preference. I tried their draftburger beer which on happy hour is $5. It's a good light beer if that's what you're into. Not bad. Cocktails were ranging $10-20. This place takes pride in their service and attitude - and you can tell from how they dress and how they run things. It's definitely a place to come back for whether it's for the oysters again or other entrees.

It's in a shopping center so there are plenty of parking, but you may not be able to park close to where you want to walk to the door to because there are so many other spots there. But the parking is free in Buckhead. So that's a plus! There's spaces inside and outside for you to go to, so that's good, but the inside is very nice and decorated very well. They have TV so you can watch sports but it's not a sports bar so don't get that confused. The bar is a nice size and set it pretty well. Not billions of bottles but just enough to what you need. Dean was my my server and bartender, super good customer service, very warm and communicative, and I would have come back just to sit at the bar with him again. The menu is predominantly seafood related but they have other things as well. But they have a couple things that look like. They should be really really good so I am going to have to double back! But it had a sweet chili sauce to it, but the calamari seem to be crispy and seasoned enough to where it wasn't a requirement. Brussel sprouts - brussel sprouts for good, kind of wish they had more of them but they were still pretty tasty. Overall. They had the vinaigrette flavor so I know that they were cooked well. They were more firmed and mushy so that was good. I would get them again and I was see. Can I get a full order instead of just a side order because they were just that good. Old bay fries - The Old Bay fries were okay. They had that sodium to where you needed ketchup to kind of bring the sweet. But they were still good though regardless. Shrimp tacos - these were good. Had 3 large shrimp. Got mine blackened and they were just the right amount of taste and flavor. The sauce on it was a little much but that was okay though, it balanced out all of the spice for the peppers and the shrimp seasoning. Gumbo - the gumbo was pretty good and it came in a large bowl, more than you would think a cup would be. Savory and tasty. Overall, with the quality of the food and the customer service, I feel like this place definitely deserves my attention again. The first time I went in I only had a couple of appetizers, and that really didn't do it justice.

My bride really liked her glass of Sauv Blanc. The glass is a nice size and the pour was really generous. We enjoyed the Fried Calamari app. My bride ordered Fish & Chips and I ordered the Lobster Roll. All the food was excellent. Great fries, really great Cole Slaw. Drinks and food arrived promptly and everything was at the proper temperature. Every staff person we met was cheerful and helpful with Deenie our server best in class. This was my second-ever Lobster Roll and it was the second-best after a Cousins Food Truck. The B's portion seem significantly smaller and, at $35, more expensive. In general, Big B's pricing is what lost them a star in my review. We will definitely return when we earn another $120...

I was staying at a hotel in Buckhead and noticed they were right next door, so I decided to stop in for happy hour. The service was excellent, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Their happy hour is one of the best in the city, especially if you're an oyster lover! Monday through Friday from 3-5 p.m., they offer $1 raw oysters, $2 Oysters Rockefeller, and $1 peel-and-eat shrimp, which is such a good deal. While their regular menu is really good as well, this visit was all about happy hour, and it definitely did not disappoint. I'll absolutely be back for the oysters!

It is exciting to find a restaurant serving great Cajun food (probably my favorite cuisine)…read more They have all the dishes you'd expect from a serious Cajun restaurant. Multiple stuffed and topped redfish options, lots of crawfish, and plenty of dishes that require a roux (all things that lesser restaurants are clearly afraid, or unable, to offer on their menus). For me, most importantly, they have crawfish etouffee. Any other dinner items will have to wait till a future visit. It was terrific, made from a hearty roux, with lots of crawfish flavor. It was a more tomato-y variety of etouffee than I make for myself, but it was excellent in a different way (the tomato presence was good -- neither sour nor bland). Service is great, attentive but not obtrusive. Plus, they have live jazz music -- even though I was there too early for the live music, it's important to support restaurants that make the effort to have real musicians. Nearly everywhere in Atlanta has very kind people and very good food, but I will still try to stop by the Louisiana Bistreaux next time I'm visiting the friendly sweltering inferno that is Atlanta.

The bad weather left us with a change of plans last minute from being fully outdoor to fully indoor and she went above and beyond for us. She closed off the dining room to other patrons for the couple of hours during our event, greeted everyone, was handing out pizza, etc. All of the staff working (thank you so much April, Liz, and Eliza!) were so fantastic. I haven't even gotten to the food and drinks yet. It was phenomenal. Absolutely incredible. My mouths watering just typing this. We chose 4 pizzas for our event and would order every single one again. Everyone who came to the event couldn't stop talking about how good it was, how nice the inside was, and how much fun they had. And the pre-made bar menu (we didn't know this would be a thing!) was laid out so cute for everyone to choose off of and they were BEYOND delicious. Thank you thank you thank you everyone at Corbus for making our night spectacular, we will absolutely be returning!

My girlfriend came for pizza. I believe she had a Margarita pizza maybe "beam me up Scotty" I'm not sure. I came for what I remembered to be seven lamps's old burger. Or at least something similar. My burger came with a Caesar salad which I love. I also enjoyed an old-fashioned. Our server was lovely and informative. However, my old-fashioned was yummy, but on the sweeter side. Next time, and I think there will be a next time, I will ask if they can make it less sweet. Also, the cherry was completely wrong. At least it wasn't good. I take my cherries very seriously in my old-fashioned. My burger was good and the Caesar salad was delicious. However, it just didn't hit the way that I had hoped. The restaurant was also out of Tabasco. They gave me a buffalo sauce which in my opinion was gross. I hope this restaurant finds its bold audacious way of telling the neighborhood who they are and what they offer. I feel like they're trying to figure out what the neighborhood wants. I'll give it a few months and come back. I work in the area. I was Just disappointed by the lack of WOW.

Service was prompt and on point. They were attentive to food allergy requests. I opted for a 3 course tasting option they had while wife ordered an app and a steak for dinner. Both the tuna and the octopus apps were great. Wife's steak was prepared well and my beef Wellington was incredible. Not often you find it on a menu and the prep here was outstanding. Sides were good and the sauce was kinda whatever and totally unnecessary. Somehow left room for the dessert (bread pudding with ice cream) and had no regrets. They were super accommodating separating the ice cream out into a separate bowl so my wife could have some. We ended up valeting just bc we didn't want to figure out which deck had the validated parking. Excellent, memorable dinner. We'd gladly come back.

The gumbo was piping hot and even burned my tongue a little, but I'm not mad at it at all lol. It was delicious! For my meal, I got the chicken and waffles with mac and cheese, and everything was so good. The chicken was well-seasoned, the waffle was fluffy and delicious, and the mac and cheese was a great addition. I highly recommend coming here! I would definitely suggest making a reservation beforehand, especially if you're coming with a group. The food and experience are absolutely worth the price.
