Something is radically wrong. We have taken our dogs here for years. I called in the am and pm for an appointment. NO RESPONSE. No one answered the phone. I went by and talked to the guy about why they didn't answer the phone. He said they were all booked up. How would i know that? He said he was short employees. OK. We took our border collie there a year ago and they did a good job but charged quite a bit and proceeded to tell me that it was a lot of work and next time they would have to charge me more. We did Decide to take him one more time about a year later I called and made an appointment And explain that my dog had high anxiety and wondered if it would be helpful if me or my husband would stay in the building and I was rudely told....WELL THATS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! And that proceeded to talk to me like I was an overworried pet mom And tried to explain to me that they were professional enough and didn't need any help because they had notes on my dog from the previous trip! I was offended enough to not take my dog there anymore! If you can't speak In a professional manner to a client I can guarantee you you will not be getting my service ever again!!! read more

This place is awesome. Before finding the Aristocrat (cool name btw), we used to take our dog, Beyonce, to PetSmart. We thought that they would be the best since that's where we go to get supplies, but everytime we picked her up after a groom, she would have cuts and scrapes on her from the clippers and they always blamed it on Beyonce for moving too much. And then they would even slap on a $7 fee because they said our dog was hard to handle. Went back a few more times and had same issues. Then somehow we were lucky enough to stumble into the Aristocrat and took Beyonce there. We we so worried that she would be hard to handle and also worried that this place would cut her too, but to our surprise, they gave her the best groom ever with no cuts. Only smiles. We asked if she was hard to groom and they said, "no, it just took some time for her to get used to us.. After that...she was good." That made me realize that our dog was not the problem, it was the handlers at Petsmart. My apologies for the long review, but all the facts needed to be stated to help others to look no further than "The Aristocrat" when they want to get their furry friends groomed and knowing that they are in good hands with people that truly care about animals!! This is my go to place now. I'm actually writing this review after our second trip there yesterday. The doggie makeover and friendly service was still top notch so I can truly say that the first visit was not a fluke. The first trip was about 7 months ago but, somehow, forgot to write a review. Probably because we got excited and lost in Beyonce's fresh look. Thank you all again at the Aristocrat for the good work and care you've given our dog and Keep up the good work!!! I hardly give bad reviews but feel the need to this time. My little critter seemed displeased and agitated when I picked him up and on the ride home. He wasn't himself days after grooming. Took him to vet and they said he got mange............WT?!?!? I guess that's what I get for going to some random hole in the wall place. Owners were very unpleasant and demeaning when confronted about giving my dog mange, it looks like they are only pleasantly fake with their regulars. They are only in it for the money. I'll just take him to Petco next time.............they know how to treat four-legged family members with care. read more

They dislocated my dogs knee and now he can't walk on it and needs surgery. They yanked his leg too hard and also cut his nail too much so they day we brought him home, there was blood everywhere... will not come back. read more

I want to start by saying the reviews on here are either 5 stars or 1 star. But suspicious much?? The 1 star reviews are probably fake by disgruntled people with nothing better to do with their time. I cannot believe the 1 star reviews at all because we've been going to the Aristocrat for a long time. Aristocrat is the best!! They are a wonderful family who takes very good care of animals. We've taken our maltese, Mimi, there for years. She was always a skiddish and nervous kind of dog. As she got older, stress and anxiety would send her into seizures. Lynn and the family always took special care with her and listened to us on how to handle her. They were also very friendly and had great customer service. We wouldn't have taken our little precious anywhere else!! read more

You can tell this is a family owned business because they care about the customers and their furry children . When I pick up my dog she looks great .nails are clipped and never too short , ears washed and for an extra $5 they will brush her teeth . I have read all the reviews and it is obvious someone was very upset with the business and took it out on Yelp. With the person who had he dog with the bleeding paws there can be several causes for that, and walking a dog for a mile with bleeding paws is not going to allow them to clot. Here is an honest review We have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and we are SUPER picky when it comes to their haircuts. If you have seen a Cavie with a bad haircut you understand why we are. We started coming here when we moved to GG a couple of years ago. When I first walked into the Aristocrats I thought what kind of weird place is this. Sports memorabilia, surfboards, and trains??????? I have since learned business is owned by two former pro athletes. I have found the staff is friendly and welcoming. You get a family feel rather than the corporate vibe of PetSmart. Have been happy with all but one haircut. With the one I wasn't happy with it was because they left hair a little longer than we wanted. It was fixed within two minutes. So no bad haircuts. I have found it is less expensive than PetSmart with better results. My ONLY complaint is I am not sure they give the dogs potty breaks while they are there. I can barely get my female out the door before she has to pee. We will continue to use them and recommend them to EVERYONE. If you are on the fence about trying them I would suggest you give them a chance. You will NOT be disappointed! read more

We've been coming here for about three years. We have two shih-tzu's that require a specific style of grooming. Everyone has always been very accommodating to our needs and our girls cannot get in the door fast enough because they are so happy to get groomed. One of our girls has separation anxiety so we have been using their 'expedited service' and it has worked well for us. I would highly recommend this family owned grooming company. read more

I am very sad to say I walked my dog home as her feet are bleeding and although the walk is a mile the blood is still gushing from her paw and all over the back yard! Blood is splattered on all of her paws and it splattered on my $180.00 running shoes! I feel so bad for her because I don't want her inside until the blood clots. I understand mistakes happen, but they should have warned me or assured me she will be okay. I am so happy there is no option to leave a tip when signing for a debit. I did not have cash on me today to leave a tip and I was planning on leaving them $8! I would have in the past given this place 3-4 stars. the place is clean but the staff is NOT overly friendly and sometimes makes you feel you are putting them out by asking if they have the time to groom the dog. I really wanted to like this place and support the local pet groomer but after today I can't see myself returning. read more

Today was the third time our dog was there. The people who groom him do what you want but most importantly...they love him and he loves them. Good groomers and love.... great combo! I have a King Charles Cavalier and they trim him well...and even if he doesn't have that traditional cut (I never wanted that for my pet) he does have a nice trim cut. I like this grooming and pet supply store. They usually have what I want and it's close to home. But, they do not carry premium canned Cat food, only dry cat food. At any rate, they are very helpful, even if your not buying anything from them. read more

We have four little dogs and they are challenging, at best, not just with feisty personalities- three of our four are rescue doggies, mixed breeds, with funny curly hair, or extra long bodies, and I have a hard time grooming them. Aristocrats groomed our previous dog for nearly17 years and she always looked pretty. She passed and later we got 2 smaller dogs. The caring people here practically saved our dogs life! Our very silly and curious puppy managed to get himself stuck in a sticky trap for vermin and he was in a bad way. We took him to the Aristocrat and they managed to get him all cleaned up! We honestly thought the worst when we saw what our pup looked like as we dropped him off but he is as good as new now! We were taking our four Shih Tzu's there for a very long time. Years! A little over a year ago we had our second of the four Shih tzus die. But we continued to go there and we adopted another one Which we also took there. We were just there this last week and when we picked them up, the very rude girl I forgot her name because she just talks in a high-pitched voice that I never remember her name, told my nephew that they would not take two of my dogs back there again because they were too much trouble. Mind you they are 14 and 16 and have been going there for years. She says they are feisty move and dance around the table they almost fall off they want to bite them when they touch their face etc. I was shocked because they never ever said anything when we picked them up in the past. I would think one of the last 12 times we took them there they would've at least said something to us. Jason would always check us out and we always always checked and asked 'how were the dogs today'? And he always said 'they were great!'. All the time! Now they don't want to take the two that have been going there for years anymore because they are seniors and they're afraid, half deaf and part blind. I think it's a very poor way to run their business. I guess maybe Jason was too afraid to say anything and the girl with a very loud high-pitched voice that is extremely rude took over. I've always heard very negative comments about these people and I couldn't believe it but I guess it's all true. Please don't take your dogs here they do not know how to handle your dog if it ages. read more

My cat is famous, well with all my family and friends anyway. She is pretty special to me. Her name is Porsche and she is a pure breed Persian ,with a spoiled rotten personality. I could never take her to just any one to get her lion haircut ,Porsche would scratch their eyes out. Besides I'm picky! I look for certain things to make sure this is a good place and Aristocrat made the cut with flying colors. They are very gentle and calm with my princess.. When I take her home she is happy go lucky and purring, to me that says a lot!
