I called and booked appointments for my 2 dogs because we work in the same business park as the groomer. Convenience was top of mind. Horrible mistake on my part. I arrived at 7:30am as instructed. There is a sign on the door that asks you to knock. I thought this was because of the early arrival. Nope. They clearly don't want you in their unit because they block the doorway. The woman who opened the door wrote my dog's names and my phone number on a spiral bound notepad, took my dogs and locked the door behind her. If you look inside through the big glass windows, you can see that it looks more like a disheveled storage unit than a pet grooming salon. I got a call 4 hours later that my dogs were ready and I headed over. Again, I had to knock on the door. A guy opened the door, stood in the doorway, and told me that it would be $130 for both dogs. I gave him my credit card, and he took my card, closed the door and locked it behind him! Minutes later he came back with my dogs. He asked "are these the cuts you're looking for?". I said yes, but didn't realize they CUT my dog's nail so short that blood was on his fur! I've taken my dogs to many grooming facilities and this has NEVER happened before. My daughter who is a vet tech said that she's never heard of a grooming facility that doesn't ask for up to date immunization records. She also said she's never seen a dog sent home with blood on it's fur. Needless to say, I will not go back. I will not sacrifice convenience for the health of my dogs. read more

Then when I picked the puppy they had raised the price from $65-$75. I wished I knew that before. I paid, but I would not be back. They lose me. I had used their service for 30 years. If I could give this place no stars I would. I've only taken my field golden once before to get groomed in my hometown of South Carolina and loved my experience. I usually do it myself but for convenience purposes I needed to take him to get groomed. He is the sweetest boy that does get nervous and shy with grooming but only because of the noises. We asked for a little trim to clean him up a bit but when he was finished his belly was shaved to the skin including his private area. I understand keeping it clean but a trim around the private area and belly would've been fine. I know he does not like the shaver due to the noise and feeling so I'm not sure how this was accomplished, but you can imagine it was not a good experience for him. His ears were red and irritated from also being shaven too short. And when I tell you he is the most social, wholesome, and submissive dog with people and other dogs, I mean it. But after bringing him home and walking through the door to greet our two other dogs (which are his best friends in the whole world) he began to get skittish and aggressive towards them as if something was wrong. He even tried to lunge and bite at one of our other dogs. I have NEVER seen him in such a distressful state. I am now having to re-socialize him with our two dogs that he's been around for quite some time. It's very upsetting to see him in such a distressful state. I'm sure some might have a good experience here, but we surely did not. read more

They returned my dog injured and didn't even bother to let me know so i could treat her injuries. Looks like they cut her right on her clippers and she had visible scarring and dried blood. When I picked up my Doberman she was screaming and the nephew was yelling at her, jerking on her leash. She reeked of urine. The owner refunded what I paid a few days later. My Silky Terrier's long time, excellent groomer recently moved out of state so sadly I had to locate another to replace her. After a long on line search and talking with friends I decided to try Pet Parade. Made an appointment to bring her in for a complete grooming, their policy is to bring your dog in between 7:30 & 9:30 am, first in will be first out between 12:00 & 2:00 pm. I dropped her off at 7:30 leaving her with Marie, a gentle, soft spoken woman who informed me she is one of the groomers and after discussing the cut for my pup she assured me she would take good care of her. I received a call at approximately 11:45 letting me know she was done. I paid $55 via credit card over the phone. When I picked my pup up she was in good condition and looked absolutely adorable! I go to pet parade specifically to purchase the Halshams raw pet food. It's what they were fed at their breeder, so I'm sticking with it. Had taken our two kitties to have their teeth cleaned. I don't usually get their teeth cleaned. I have been looking for a new place since my other place no longer offers it. So I was glad to have been referred to this place. $95 for first time cleaning and $20 per month if you want to do that. I'll see what their teeth looks likes in several months. I was sad when I noticed when they got home that they had fleas. My kitties are inside kitties are inside only. After killing several fleas, I gave in and bought flea treatment for them, in the meantime the fleas are attacking me. =( I will most likely be bringing them back for their teeth cleaning though. read more

But if they don't carry the type, brand or flavor you are looking for, they order it for you- at no additional charge! For convenience sake, they can even schedule it out for you so you don't have to call or come in every time to place the order. As for pet care and attitude, they treat your pet like their own. They did an incredible job on my baby girl.... And believe me, she's a mini horse, and extremely routey being only 2 yrs old. She gets whiney a lot and cries and has anxiety issues,because shes really protective, but they didnt seem to mind her loud howls and barking until she saw me again.... She was extremely well groomed and looks very pretty. They even gave me a holiday treat bag for her, and a little holiday treat for myself. Its not even expensive. It only took like 2 hours before they called to say she was ready... I would absolutely go back... I cannot praise this place enough. We have two Newfoundlands (Ralphie and the Boss) and have never taken them to a groomer because until now, we hadn't met a groomer who was experienced with Newfies. We were recommended to come here by someone we met through the SoCal Newfoundland Club and are we sure glad we did. I called ahead of time and was quoted a rough $85 each. I spoke to Brenda who was very knowledgable of Newfoundlands. When we got there they took us to the back, showed us where they would be keeping our boys and were patient enough to hear all our fears and look through pictures we showed them of both our likes/dislikes. We were very nervous to pick the boys up and we were both shocked when we saw them at how GORGEOUS they looked. They were shinier and softer than we have EVER seen them. Literally, their coat felt like it did when they were tiny pups. The trim at their ears, feet, and underbelly was perfection. They smell...CLEAN! I can't praise this place enough. I called in the morning and they were able to take him within the hour. The owner answered all my questions and eased my concerns when I dropped of the puppy. I have taken my toy poodle to Pet Parade twice now with great results! The staff are good with the dogs and always do a great job grooming. I did learn that it is better to get groomed during the weekday when it's less crowded. We took our dog in at 7:30 and got the call to pick him up at noon. The first time I took him on a Wednesday and he was done by 10am. Oh, and it really helps to make an appointment way in advance because they get booked quickly. We drive 18 miles to go to Pet Parade because they really know how to groom a Bouvier des Flandres and a Newfoundland. They are a little pricey but at least my over 100 lbs puppies look like what they're supposed to. Even when they have terrible tangles at mats, they take the time to save what they can. They go by first come first serve, after you make an appointment. They are very busy. All dogs (they seem to be regulars) are walking in the store eagerly and, to me, that was a sing that my babies are treated well. Given that this place is so close to where I work, I would definitely come back. The only thing is that there's left over dog hair on her after I picked her up. First time taking my two small dogs to this place, called them the day before to let them know I would be dropping them off. Dropped them off at 8:30am the next day, didn't hear from them for 5 hours. I finally decided to call, and they said it would be about another hour because they were taking their lunch.
