The Athletic Room is a hidden gem of wonderful! Not only do you leave feeling pampered, but having burned calories and loosened up in the process without lifting a finger! I had never done any of the three services before coming here, but they are wonderful complements to each other. The compression allowed me to cut my recovery time in half after a run or heavy lifting session, the stretch is like nothing I've experiences before...like a massage and PT session rolled into one, and the Cryo left me feeling like I had shoveled snow for 30 minutes but it only took 3 minutes and I had no sore muscles after! The services are probably on par with the service providers...local athletes who know their stuff and know the people! Not only are they great at what they do, but they are always giving back to the community as well...I constantly see them donating at all the local school and little league fundraising auctions, and I think that speaks volumes for such a small local business. Love this place! I was first introduced to it because some of my teammates at the studio have been. I am an indoor cycle instructor and always looking for a faster way to recover in-between classes. The facility is clean, athletic-minded, and aesthetically pleasing. You walk in and immediately created by the staff, which are all amazing! They've created a positive, fun, refreshing atmosphere allowing you to get a dose of great vibes and equally the ability to relax. The owner is an ex-Texan's player and is very knowledgeable in what it takes to recover and he also built his team this way - all athletes or in the field of sports, making it easy to relate to. With the rigorous training I'm doing, I've committed to a monthly membership of cryo + compression which is affordable and enough to get me through my weeks. I've tried stretching once and see a high benefit of it! I sprinkle that for week's that I really need it. Highly recommended! read more

The Athletic Room was such a fantastic experience. I sprained my ankle with quite a bit of traumatic force and was in a terrible amount of pain a few months ago. With a sprained ankle we know that RICE is what the body needs! Kailee, the owner, came in immediately with the knowledge and assistance I needed. Everyone from the moment you step into the building is incredibly educated and welcoming. They sat me in one of their comfortable recliners and put me into Game Ready's leg sleeves. These sleeves transition from hot to cold along with some moderate compression to immediately start working on the inflammation in my ankle. They then put me into the cryo machine for three minutes followed by some localized cryo on my ankle. This was all a tremendous relief on my ankle. I can't thank their team enough for getting me in so quickly and being so confident and motivating towards me, in my time of pain. read more

Before my cryo session, I tried the Compression sleeves on my hips and legs. Absolute heaven! If your profession has you on your feet for any extended period of time, you are going to love it! Then I tried cryo. It's cold in the chamber for sure, but a dry cold. Totally tolerable! And the energy and mental clarity I felt totally had me hooked. It was also great that they took the time to explain a bit of science behind the therapy and what is happening while you are in the chamber. I never felt intimidated or scared, always informed. I have been coming here for over a year now and my husband and I both have memberships for unlimited cryo. They recently added local cryo and I love it! Sherlyn is the best at this! It's hard to fit in the extra time but it is so worth it. Everybody at the athletic room is super helpful and always makes me feel comfortable. Sherlyn is super sweet and really knows what she's doing when it comes to the local cryo-as well as the full body cryo. She always chats with me when I am in the full body cryo and makes three minutes go by very quickly! read more

This place has saved my life and my career. I'm a professional athlete and push my body to the extreme. I had a knee replacement in May and at the advice of my trainer have been going to the Athletic Room at least once a week, sometimes 2-3 times per week. I always make an appointment for stretching and pair it with cryo therapy, and/or the Game Ready. I have just returned from 14 days of skiing in Montana. I've been coming here for a few weeks now and what a difference it has made. I do everything they offer. The compression boots, the mobility stretching and the cryotherapy (my favorite). All the normal aches and pain I had are gone. My workouts are better and a have more energy to get through my day without having to "caffeine up." I began going to The Athletic Room for muscle tightness after a hip replacement. I received a 30 minute lower body stretch and have never felt more relaxed!! It is better than any massage!! Omg my daughter dislocated her shoulder during dance practice 2 days after the pain was totally unbearable and her Coach Mr. Dewayne Cook thought and acted quick and brought her here.
