I didn't know there was another location till tonight. I've been to the one on Wilshire but compared to the location, this one in Culver City takes the cake. Culver City is smaller but it sure is more lively. We walked by and the name caught my attention but I didn't quite remember how. That's when the Wilshire location came up. They had a good amount of outdoor seating both on the patio, sidewalk as well as the little alleyway. Inside is smaller but decent. We got a seat along the bar as we just wanted a drink. Started a conversation with the bartender which was when I found out that it was the same owner. Both location has the same decors with the tartan wallpaper. Compared to Wilshire, this one seemed more lively and with a way bigger outdoor dining area. It's feels more of a restaurant as the other one feels more of a bar. Also it happened to be dine la which they were also taking part of. We didn't eat but did checked out the menus. Both lunch and dinner offered. For 15.00 you get a choice of half a sandwich with half of soup or salad. For an additional 5.00 a dessert can be added. Dinner, 25.00 for two course meal. Stater choices were soup, salad or buffalo cauliflower. And the main options were, bangers and mash, fish and chips, traditional lamb stew, shepherd pie as well as vegetarian shepherds pies. Also for an additional 5.00 you can get dessert of flourless chocolate cake or house bread pudding. Good option at an affordable rate. After the drink we ended having a reservation elsewhere but ended back here for a nightcap with friends before heading home. The vibe was amazing with the crowd. Service was great, friendly staff and good drinks. This location was excellent. Also prime location closes to other amazing places. Street parking if you could find but loads of parking structures nearby.

I think I just found my new favorite spot in Culver! First off the vibes were vibing...it has such a cozy and chill atmosphere inside and there's also plenty of outside seating. We chose to sit inside because all about the cozy feels. Our server Sam was the absolute best! I asked for Chardonnay and she named 2 choices but said 1 of them was a house favorite so I went with that one. But then she came back over with a tasting of both! That was so incredibly nice of her. I ended up sticking with the house fav. Okay on to the food! I love that they have a ton of vegan options here. I ordered the bread basket and the bread had a nice char grill on it. Perfection I also order the veggie burger with vegan cheese and it was delish! Oooh and the fries had a nice crunch to them...I'm not a fan of limp fry so these were perfect for me. We found parking on the side street but of course Culver has plenty of garage parking. We will definitely be back!

Another favorite DTCC (downtown Culver City) bar/resto. This place always has a lot of interesting characters. One of my favorite things to do is see people on a date and put words in their mouth and pretend that like I'm the other person it's a lot of fun and this place is no lack of characters. The bartenders are amazing very attentive and we actually ate there and the food was very good. I'm always helping around Culver City and I love supporting downtown Culver City businesses. This is one that I really like and will continue to go to.

Great Culver City vibes and perfect for people watching. Loved sitting on the patio with an Aperol spritz -- such a fun neighborhood spot with a relaxed ambiance and friendly service

Great ambiance and drinks but wow is the food phenomenal. The sausage roll which I devoured before thinking to take a picture was perfection and this chicken curry is hitting on all cylinders. 10/10

Party of 4 on the patio, looking out onto Culver Boulevard at our warmly lit hightop table. The bartender's got the right amount of boisterous and snark, the waitress is full of pep and smile. The lovely lass slinging guitar/vocals out front is perfect for this meal of trad Irish fare we're about to knock down. And it was delicious. What we had: SHEPARD'S PIE (5) - outstanding homeland flavor and seasoning LAMB STEW (4) - rich 'n hearty CAESAR SALAD (5) - delicious dressing and super fresh THE CHICKEN SAND (4) - big time piled with goodness THE BUFFALO CAULIFLOWER (5) - beefy hunks of fresh cauliflower coated in buffalo seasoning that had just enough spicy without overwhelming the flavor. these were my favorite of the night My buds started out with YE OLDE FASHIONED and I had THE BIG FELLA - only needed one to get THAT job done! Outstanding drinks.

    haha nice!

Auld Fella's Mission Statement: We're an Irish joint in the heart of Culver City. Since taking residence in fall 2019 we have become the standard bearer for legendary Irish hospitality and friendly service in Los Angeles. We've re-imagined the Irish pub experience for today. While tipping a respectful cap to those that have gone before us, we've created an authenticity loved place that is enjoyed by everyone. We are very proud of our team who operates as a loving family to provide our guests with the best possible experience every time. A home from home but with better food, booze and craic. Background On Visit: Wanted to celebrate St. Patty's day a day earlier. Credit Cards: They're accepted Restroom: They do have restrooms. They're very nice inside. Price Point: Ye betcha. It is a bit pricey. Location/Parking: Located between S. Canfield and Main St.. on Culver Blvd.. Parking can be found in nearby parking structures and meter parking. Ambiance/Decor: Irish pub radiated chill vibes with modern furnishings and neat decor along the walls. The bar looks very nice. They also have outdoor seating. Service: Service was decent. Staffer was friendly and food came out at a decent time. Drink Of Choice: 1) Guiness! Cuz, I'm Irish for a day! Kidding aside, I do like me some guinness when i'm at a bar. Just depends on my mood. 2) Magners Irish Apple Cider. This cider is great also. It's less heavy than the guinness stout. Food Of Choice: 1) Truffle Dubliner Mac Cheese ($16): Originally, I wanted the Irish sausage rolls. They didn't have it even though it was on the menu! I was such a sad lad, but the mac and cheese made up for it. Absolutely yum! 2) Reubenesque ($20) with mash ($5): Sandwich consisted of corned beef, Auld Fella whiskey aioli, coleslaw, and pickle. It also came with au jus. Sandwich was delicious, but don't think it was worth the price tag. Corn beef was tender and all the other ingredients including the bread was quite delightful to eat. Mash potatoes were creamy and so gooood. Wish every place can make it like them. Auld Fella For Thought: Auld (Old) Fella is a breá (Fine) fella! Sláinte! :)

Stopped in here for a cocktail a few days ago. Loved the vibe, loved the service, loved the drink! I got the Purple Haze, mainly because it had Empress gin and I love a pretty cocktail. It was as delicious as it looked! Great option for drinks in Culver for sure.

    The Shepherd's Pie
    Chassidy S.

I came during lunch. It took a bit for the server to recognize me, but the food came out fast once they put in my order. The place is really cute. It's really chill. I ordered the Shepard's pie. It was really hearty. It felt like a home cooked meal. Not something my folks would cook, but something somebody else would cook.

    Website with wrong food hours

We tried to get late night snacks because their menu states it's served until midnight on Saturday. The bartender said they stopped at 11pm. Owner has had an attitude on multiple occasions too, but we've always ignored that and returned. I think as a local, we can say we're finally done with this place.

What a deal their Dine LA offer was! You got an appetizer and main course for $25! I got the buffalo cauliflower (which was more sweet and different that what I've had other places) and the shepherds pie. Such generous portions I brought more than half home! The staff was super attentive. To drink, not part of Dine LA, I got an espresso martini which was delicious. SO good on a warm evening.

    Mac 'n cheese truffle

Bottom -line : you can probably get a more cost-efficient meal at just about any other Irish bar . These prices are truly outrageous. Came here to watch dodgers game with my friend. The sole reason this review is a 3/5 is the clientele seems to be more entertainment -minded and I enjoyed the conversations and ambience . The truffle Mac 'n cheese was actually pretty good. Upon first glance, it looked like the noodles were a bit over cooked, but it wasn't that bad. The truffle while sharp wasn't so over dominating . It was tasty. I unfortunately got the corn beef and cabbage. Everything was decent with the exception of the corned beef! Look at the portion size of the meat you receive. For $29 I got like 4 small slices of beef. That is a ripoff. The meat was chewy too. Not good.

    Mushroom sandwich
    Shanelle S.

Irish pub with cozy seating. Came here for dinner with a friend on a Monday evening and were able to easily grab a table. I ordered the mushroom melt and fries (note that fries are extra) and she got a burger. The food came out piping out and was tasty. Service was friendly and we were able to have a nice catch up conversation. When we left, there was someone setting up for live music. Credit cards accepted and there's parking garages nearby. Overall, a chill spot to hang out with a friend or two (though on weekends/when there's live music, that'll be a different story).

    Cheers!

I came across an article of St. Patrick Day activities in LA. One of them explained that this joint was offering a traditional Irish breakfast from 6:00 a.m. to 10: a.m. I decided that this was the green light I needed to embrace the whimsy/whiskey of the Irish Holiday. I got up early and went from the South Bay, to this place which is located near the Peterson car museum and the Museum about the Academy and its movies. I had to endured heavy traffic, just to get to the location. And, when I got there, I was hit with a harsh reality--- there was no parking to be found, and the parking lot was closed off. It was now time for me to engage in a frustrating LA tradition- the search for a spot for my car to sit, while I went inside a place on a popular moment. I went up and down streets. I was discouraged by signs that basically said, even though this street has open spots you still need a special visitor pass or need to live in one of these houses to park. If you do not, these luxury spot are for another. And since it was early morning on a weekday, the rush hour effect was inflating my frustration while diminishing my resolve to go. I wanted to leave, I did, but, I could not, because I was determined to experience an Irish breakfast despite not being in the emerald isle because what else was I going to do just have Dunkin' again? I turned another street, and then I saw my gift for the lucky, a parking spot that I could ease into. I walked two blocks but decided that the steps were needed to enhance my appetite. As I got near, I understood that this was a spectacle to document, and not just by me, news vans were already there setting up to show the world what being in this place on St. Patricks day meant---- living the holiday to the blimey max! I stepped in and Marley asked if I had a reservation. My heart sank, I had not thought of this. I just saw a mention of the place, and decided to go, no planning, just decision. She found a place for me, quite easily. The interior of their dining room made me feel like I was in the Island of Berk, eating in a cottage right for Vikings. I even thought that if I was fighting a dragon, I would somehow cut one of their hanging old-timey chandeliers, at the exact right time, so it falls atop its head. I am not sure if Vikings are Irish, but on this day imagination got all type of green flags. The place had two options for breakfast--- I chose the Corned Beef hash, and it was a treat for the green eyed masses. I especially liked the smashed potatoes. One of my neigbhors gave me her recipe, and she explained that one bakes the potatoes a bit, then takes like a cookie tray, and smashes the potatoes, so the potatoes are twiced bake, once when they are whole and next when they are broken. At least, that is what I understood. The cubed corned beef, the green color provided by the brussels, and the potatoes so crisp and warm, were a celebration of Ireland in my mouth, and the celebration was marked by jigs on point. But the food, and the environment were backdrop to the Irish energy around. I may be naive, but I was surprised at how many people were already in the bar drinking and in festive costume. I clipped a few of the people who garbed themselves in green and in Irish spirit. My favorite one was the guy who wore a leprechaun hat and died his hair red. He had become an O'rooke for the day, and the festivities he adorned himself with were a reminder that any holiday can be more than splendid if one decides to choose express joy with timidity abandon. A woman had a Dr. Seuss hat but in green and white with many buttons. This was not her first Shamrock induced rodeo, she had collected buttons that confirm her attendance in this yearly event, which is kind of cool because she lives for different days, not just the weekend. I also drank a green beer, or more accurately took a few sips. When in Ireland to like the Leprechauns do. One of my neighbors told his dining companion, it is a marathon not a sprint. Apparently, some people were really there to drink from the morning to evening. So if that is your thing to do this and be great in green. I looked up how the Irish say cheers and they say Sláinte. I asked my neighbors to raise their glass and Sláinte with me. They did, and we did it with gusto! That memory is one that I will carry with me for years. So I lived a breakfast in this place and truly it was something that I experience and I will remember. This place does St. Patrick's day right and I felt lucky to be there.

Ordering is a breeze with the QR code system, and we lucked out by arriving during happy hour (Monday-Friday, 2-6 PM). Great deals on both food and drinks made it even better. I had the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with a wagyu patty and a soft, fluffy bun. At first, I missed the usual lettuce and tomato, but honestly ended up loving it just the way it came--I'd definitely order it again, especially at just $10. The happy hour fries were a standout too: crispy, well-seasoned, and a solid value. They've also got solid pizzas, a good beer lineup, and a surprisingly nice wine list. Whether you're in the mood for burgers, pizza, or just drinks with friends, this place hits the mark.
