Creme Brulee

Food: 3/4 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 I was craving for French food and found this restaurant and wanted to try it out. It was also Dine LA week so they had some fixed menu also. I was easy street parking across the street and the restaurant has nice indoor and outdoor seating. For starter I ordered crab cakes and mussels with truffles & mushrooms. From dine LA menu, I ordered escargot cooked with garlic and parsley butter, I wish they just cook with traditional way, I did not like that taste of parsley in it. Boeuf Bourguignon was the main entree and I had a high hope for it since I really miss eating it. When it arrived the portion was small. It tasted no where close to authentic. I was really disappointed. Crème Brûlée was acceptable. It could be a nice hang out spot with friends for happy hour and live music but do not expect authentic French food.

The food was great, however, the service was lacking. They were not very friendly and it took a while to be able to place our order. The restaurant is cute and I love the outdoor seating. My salad was fresh and delicious and the coffee was great as well. Price is in portions are fair, I had the service not been offputting. It would be five stars.

Food: Ordered the Caesar salad. It was simple and delicious. If you love the overhyped companion Caesar, you'll LOVE this one. The tuna tartare was so good. The crispy potato chips were such a nice touch. The gruyere cheese in the French onion soup was incredible. Steak frites and burger were out of this world! So flavorful. Don't forget to get the espresso martini!! Ambiance: 10/10. They play live jazz music!!! Perfect for a date night Customer service: 10/10. So friendly so quick

Truffle gnocchi

3.5 stars We ordered off their dineLA menu for lunch (choice of appetitizer or dessert with main entree for $25). We sat outside where their patio takes up the majority of the sidewalk. The food was okay, nothing really stood out at amazingly delicious. Gnocchi a pretty good. It came with 4 large pieces of gnocchi Escargot was out of the shell and smothered in green sauce like a pesto with a slice of crisp baguette (like a crouton). The croque monsieur was okay. The cheese was a bit burnt on top. The mussels were good, but I do wish there was some bread with it. The service was fine. Our food came out in a timely manner. We weren't overly checked on. Street parking can be tough so it's best to best in a nearby structure where the first hour is free.

"Bonjour...bienvenue..." What could be better than meeting up with a friend for lunch at a cozy French Bistro?...Sitting outside along the sidewalk enjoying the company, warm weather and good food...Feeling like you're in Paris if only for an afternoon...Can you picture this? Sebastian welcomed me and set up a nice table for us. The outdoor patio was hopping. Then Tiffany, our server, stopped by to introduce herself, brought us water and gave us time to look at the menu. The menu offers salads, sandwiches, soups, pasta, fish and a kids menu. They also have a Full Service Bar. We ordered: ~Chicken Pesto Panini w/fries ~ 5/5 (Huge - can share or take hone) ~Breakfast Quesadilla ~ zuchini, avocado, feta cheese, scrambled eggs also huge and shareable. *Reservations available/Welcome Walk-Ins *Breakfast served until 3:00pm every day *Cashless Restaurant *Street parking can get tricky during the weekends *Try parking in Trader Joe's (a few blocks east of the restaurant)

Fondant au Chocolate, Crab Cakes, Crispy Duck Tacos, Boeuf Bourguignon, Seared Atlantic Salmon, and Ratatouille de Provence were all great. Happy hour with live music adds to its charming Parisian bistro vibe.

We came here for dessert. They had live music on the patio. The weather was wonderful and it made the whole evening a great experience. The dessert was decadent and fresh.

It's wonderful to see how far Culver City has come. So many new cafes and bars. The streets and sidewalks have been upgraded and the traffic redirected so walking is encouraged. A true new beginning. Today we tried "Meet me in Paris". A small open air side walk cafe run by a warm and inviting staff. French language was heard throughout. The food was surprisingly very good. My Beef Bourguignon was super rich and tasty. A real treat and I'd have it again and again it was so good. The French onion soup was spot on perfect. As someone whom craves soup, this was a throughback to my earlier years eating it daily in DC at the famous in Georgetown. The endive & Roquefort salad was light and delicious. Michelle loved her Filet Au Poivre, as I did the next day for lunch appetizer! The show stopper however was the chocolate soufflé! Straight up unbelievable if you're a chocolate aficionado! So rich and gooey, perfectly accompanied by a scoop of delicious vanilla bean ice cream. A must try. To note it also serves delicious French wine by the glass or bottle and Michelle adored her French Pinot noir. We'll add to our rotation! Please visit and you won't be sorry!

Culver City is happening and I've been missing it...lol... It's been so long since I've last had a meal in Culver or even spending time here. Well, Dine LA is happening and what better way than to try places you've been eyeing. I've heard good things about this place from friends that's been numerous of times and each visit was always amazing. Of course as it's part of Dine LA, it was a given to come and try this place for the first time. We had a reservation on a Friday night which was the start of Dine LA and let me say, this place was packed. Every single tables inside and out was utilized. They've made a name for themselves if it was that lively. Good on their part. It wasn't a long wait till our table was ready. We got seated on the patio side just along the street. Covered canopy with both hi top tables and standard tables. Positive side, there were loads of heat lamps as well as heated fireplaces separating pretty much all the tables. Gotta keep everyone warm during our LA winter. Inside is quite small compared to the seating outdoor with only a few tables. As Dine LA was happening, they offered a three course meal for 45.00 per person. If you weren't interested in that, their regular menu does offer loads of amazing dishes as well. We started off a bottle of their French Pinot which was quite nice. Not too strong and very smooth. Nice pair for dinner. Service was excellent and was taken good care by our waitress which I didn't get her name. She was great and very friendly. Dine LA Menu Starters -Soupe a l'oignon (French onion soup) melted Gruyère and brioche croutons -Ahi tuna tartare- avocado, balsamic reduction and spicy Cajun chips -Escargot a l'ail- 1/2 dozen escargot in garlic and parsley butter Mains -Boeuf Bourguignon- slow roasted beef stew with creamy potatoes puree in red wine sauce -Coq au Vin- braised chicken leg with glazed carrots, pearl onions and bordelaise sauce -Moules Frites (Mussels and fries)- PEI mussels in bisque sauce with garlic, Chablis, brandy Dessert -Crème brûlée- vanilla bean and turbinando sugar -Apple tarte tatin- caramelized apples with puff pastry dough and caramel sauce -Profiteroles- choux dough filled with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and roasted almonds. We each went with one of the starters. The French onion soup was perfect. The broth with the melted cheese, it was amazing. The flavors of everything paired together were perfect. Tuna tartare was great. The seasoning with the glaze and chips to paired with was great. Also fish was perfect and fresh. Lastly the escargot. If this doesn't scream French, I didn't know what does. I've had it at other restaurants and I can say this was amazing. The garlic sauce was perfect. Snails had a nice taste to it and quite tasty. Not tough at all. Everything was excellent. Mains, the boeuf Bourguignon was tasty. Nice chunks of beef with a nice thick sauce and pared with mashed potatoes. Sauce was excellent and not too strong. And the mussels, which was a hefty portion. The sauce which was like a lobster bisque was excellent. I'm use to a wine broth but the bisque was amazing. Nice meaty mussels cooked perfectly. We had to order a side of baguette for the bisque. Dessert, the profiteroles which I highly recommend. Two amazing pieces of puffed pastries filled with vanilla ice cream and topped with chocolate sauce. Mouthwatering at its best. And lastly the apple tarte, the right amount of sweetness and baked to perfection also served with ice cream. I can say that my first time here was amazing. The service, the food and everything was amazing. Not only dinner, they're also offering Dine LA for lunch. Regardless, it's going to be a priority to come back for another meal. The full menu looked amazing. Food was delicious and everyone left full and satisfied. Oh, there's some street parking if you could find them but loads of parking structures nearby.

Came here for Dine in LA week. Nice setting of tables and chairs outside on the street in front of their restaurant. The Dine in LA menu was $45 per person with a set of appetizer, entree, and dessert. People can choose one of each from their dine in LA menu that includes appetizer, entree, and dessert. We chose escargots, beef Bourguignon, and crème brûlée. Escargots had garlic and parsley seasoning with biter taste. Beef Bourguignon tasted like asian style beef stew but meat is tender and few vegetables in this dish. Crème brûlée had a sweet and creamy taste as a dessert dish with crunchy crisp of sugar candy on top. I also ordered crab cakes and mussels. I feel like none of these French dishes stand out for my liking. Service was good and they let us choose our table.

TL;DR Dirty, false advertised menu, and not worth your time Unfortunately, this is a where do I begin situation. After looking at the happy hour menu advertising oysters for $1.50, I decided to head over to try them. First, the menu is completely falsely advertised as everything on the menu in person is more expensive than the online menu. They have to know this is a problem as I just read a review saying the same thing from a MONTH AG Second, every piece of dish ware was dirty and there was a 'weird' substance floating in my partners beer. Everyone, it was so bad that I literally had to leave and didn't get a chance to eat. Wait staff was so unapologetic. Wouldn't come here if it was the last restaurant on earth.

Filet with frites (8oz)

So I chose this restaurant cause it was near the Kirk Douglas Theater (I was attending a show after dinner). Since I love French food, this restaurant seemed like a good choice cause of location but also food and atmosphere. The location is excellent since it's in the heart of downtown Culver City but if you choose to eat outside, you should be aware it's sandwiched in between the sidewalk and street do it gets loud. That being said, the outside seating gives off a "French bistro" vibe. Very cool. The inside is small and hot but it was a bit quieter. Now, the food was a hit and miss. I really feel whether or not you have a good meal depends on what you order. For example, I ordered the filet and frites but the steak didn't come with the Béarnaise sauce I ordered and was undercooked. The frites were excellent though. In addition, I also ordered the crab cakes which were disappointing. They tasted frozen or not hand made which explains how fast they came out. My GF ordered the Duck confit and was way better than my dinner. While the service is friendly, I'm not sure I'd ask for recommendations. You're better off going with your gut instinct. All in all, it is an ok restaurant but I will go back someday to try other dishes.

This is a small restaurant in downtown Culver that is charming and does have a European feel with the outdoor seating. However, the seating area is a bit small, so it is a tight squeeze to get into some of the chairs. My friends and I visited during Dine LA week, and I ordered from the lunch menu. I selected the duck tacos and a berry cobbler for dessert. The duck tacos were okay. The meat was a little bit tough, and it was a creative choice to use a crepe as the "tortilla" for the taco. However, the crepe didn't have much flavor and made the taco extra floppy, so the meal was a bit messy. However, the berry cobbler was delicious. It came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and each spoonful felt like I was getting a hug from the inside. I paired the cobbler with a cappuccino, and it was a perfect combination. The service was good, but a bit delayed at times. It would not have been an issue, but my friends and I did have to return to work soon. I am curious to try other menu options in the future.

The location has a spacious area filled with a variety of wine options. I picked a Bourgogne Chardonnay from France ($36). We came on a late Monday afternoon and, lucky for us, they have a bar special on Mondays: No corkage fee! They also have Happy Hour-- Monday to Friday from 3-6pm. The Chardonnay was divine! I would totally return and purchase another bottle. We also ordered a charcuterie board and took advantage of their happy hour special for $20 (pick two-- one cheese and one meat). We opted for the 'Humboldt Fog' Chèvre as our cheese option and the Bresaola for our meat option. Both were delicious, but the chèvre was truly exquisite. We shared one charcuterie board with five people and it was enough; however if you're on the hungry side, I suggest two charcuterie boards for five or six people. In addition to meat and cheese, it comes with crackers, some pickled veggies, onion jam, candied nuts, whole grain Dijon, and apple slices. On the left side of the venue you have your variety of wine options; on the right side, there's the bar and some tables, plus a small area with other snacks for purchase that pair nicely with wine or beer. They even sell the Torres truffle chips! My only complaint is the service, unfortunately. The lady at the cashier was super friendly, however the bar tender was not so welcoming. When he came over to our table to open our wine bottle, he didn't greet us, smile, or say anything. He took our bottle and opened it and then asked who was going to taste. Not sure if he thought we didn't speak English since we were speaking another language when he came to our table, but overall, we all noticed his attitude and thought it was rather unwelcoming. Because of this experience, I rate this place a 4/5, however, everything else was great!
