Ambiance was amazing on karaoke night. Also on Band night it was amazing. Service was great for the most part.

Went here to watch two World Cup quarterfinal games - England v Norway and Argentina v Switzerland. We arrived maybe an hour and a half before the first game and were able to grab a table with a good view, but the tables filled up fairly quickly after that. It's a really spacious bar and it was totally full during the games, and the energy of the crowd was amazing! Would definitely recommend coming here for sports events. As for the food, we tried the fish and chips and the soft pretzel. It was standard pub food - serviceable and fine for a game day, but nothing special. You're definitely coming here for the energy and the experience, not the food. If you're interested in getting the fish and chips, I found that the appetizer version (which comes with 2 pieces of fish instead of 3 like the entree version) was still huge and I couldn't finish it. Would recommend getting that as a cheaper alternative to the entree version! read more

Jameson is this really awesome bar located in Culver City. There isn't a whole lot of traffic to get there and the street parking can be iffy but there's a parking structure nearby. The service is great. There's a whole lot of waitresses and waiters walking around, making sure that you have beer. The food comes out relatively fast and his World Cup season so it is packed and can be difficult to get into but don't let that detour you from going. It is a whole vibe. They have the wheels on beers, especially during happy hour and a plethora of options to choose from on their food menu. I would highly recommend Jameson. It is a great time. read more

Just right off the bat, if they're busy and you're hungry, you might be better off somewhere else. Jameson's has really good food, no doubt (I even used to patron the Jameson's on Main in Santa Monica back in the day) ... but this evening was the straw that broke the camel's back. I work in the area. I've been there quite a few times at different times of day at different times of the year. This evening, myself and my partner got back to the area after attending a graduation at the college. We walked in around 8:20/8:25pm and took a seat. We hadn't had dinner yet and were just looking for a late meal. The place was busy, it was before Trivia Night started. At around 8:40, no one had come by yet to say Hi and I hadn't seen any wait staff walk by, so I stood patiently at the bar for a minute or so to inquire if we ordered at the bar or if it was table service. It was indeed table service so I went back to the table to wait. An employee (the name Peri was on the receipt) came by the table and we, perhaps too enthusiastically, said that we were definitely ready to order. My partner gave our drink orders and she briskly asked for the card for the tab and took off. We still needed to tell her our food order. We thought she might have just needed to put the card on file and would be back to finish up. Nope. A different server came by to drop off our drinks, and we mentioned to her that we would like to order food. She gave us a vacant look and walked away. So now we're at around 8:50/8:55 and we need to get something in our system. At 9pm Peri (?) comes by the table again to check on us (I think it might have been due to our pleadingly awkward attempt to try to make eye contact with her as she was walking by) and we're just ready to leave and grab food somewhere else. We let her know that we were put off by the timeframes, and I feel that we handled it politely but directly, but then she holds up the digital ordering handheld and shows us that the time on it read 8:46pm. I pointed out to her that yes, that's when we finally were able to order, but we had been sitting there for about 20 minutes before that. We paid and left. Pretty much 35 minutes and we hadn't yet been able to order food. Observing the crowd, we noticed that staff seemed to check more frequently on tables that already had food or had finished their food before approaching tables that were filled around the time when we had sat down. I get it, it's busy. I've been there other times when it's very busy and service is quick and efficient. The past several years of the Downtown Taste Of The Summer - third Wednesdays series are some of my fav chaos energy visits. At this point, it's a mixed bag. 2 stars though because the guy pours a proper Guinness, and it's closer than walking down the road to the other pub. Love this spot. Such a great place to hangout and enjoy friends, games, food, and of course drinks. Food: I ordered chips and dip, nothing too fancy but it was still pretty good. It comes with 3 different sauces or you can have the same dip its your choice. Also had Fries which was a large basket. Couldn't finish those. They are also large wedge fries so each French frie was big. Service: The service was great. Our waiter was quick, friendly, and checked on us throughout our stay. She was great!! Atmosphere: Man!!! I stopped by Jameson's Pub in Culver City during a bar crawl, and the drinks definitely deliver. The whole space has a classic, high-energy sports bar feel with live music that keeps the crowd loud and hyped. Went here to watch a 2pm World Cup match and it was such a good choice. We made it in about an hour and a half before the game and there was plenty of seating. On big game days they open up the top floor. It got hot and crowded but that's expected. Standard food for a reasonable price. We came during a game when it was SO busy and genuinely had some of the best service I've had at a sports bar. Couldn't be more impressed with both Josh and Josh (two upbeat, fun, professional bartenders) who, alongside the rest of their crew, ran the bar like no other. There's meter parking around that ends at 8pm. There's also surrounding parking structures. Came for their Thanksgiving dinner. It was $19.99 for all you can eat turkey, ham, or prime rib plate. When you order the holiday meal, you open a tab and are required to buy one drink. The person next to me, who ordered way after me, got his food immediately after placing his order. Since it was the same meal and there's no verification to make sure the meal went to the right person, I believe it was my food. Spoke to a waitress and the manager, and waited 45 minutes before my meal came. When my food came, it was missing the bread and I had flag down 2 people and wait another 15 minutes before I got my bread. Took them 30 minutes to make my drinks. Was able to try the turkey and prime rib plates. The turkey was dry and unflavored. The cranberry sauce was really good. The brussel sprouts were delicious. The green beans, stuffing, and mashed potatoes were alright. The prime rib didn't not taste like prime ribs. They were dried and lacked fat. Got the Whiskey Barrel Punch for $13.75. The Whiskey Barrel Punch was not good. They don't seem organized when it comes to handling a crowd. However, this place has a lot of potential. I'm a sucker for drink and food specials and will watch a handful of games here throughout the year. The service can be really great or really subpar but thats the nature of a place so large and busy. Your only other similar options in this hood include 33 Taps and Rocco's. They have a AYCE prime rib special on Wednesdays and AYCE Taco Tuesdays. Definitely belongs in the rotation for sports bars in Culver. read more

We went on a Wednesday to try out Prime Rib. We were not interested in "all you can eat" so ordered a la carte. So that you know, "all you can eat" translates to you finishing up the whole plate and only after would you get a second portion. Those plates are HUGE! Anyway, we ordered the prime rib and expected something like on the picture I have attached (ordered medium rare) but when the food arrived, the prime rib was charred and had grill marks on it! Should I mention that it was well done?! We asked server to fix it but after she circled back with the kitchen, she came back and told us that this is how they always serve prime rib and that she has never seen it served like on the picture. Crowded but they have an awesome upstairs area we sat at. Plenty of seats and BIG beers, I loved it. Atmosphere is loud but again this is a huge bar, unsure why "Pub" is in the name lol. For food, ordered 10 wings with Jameson's BBQ sauce. The wings themselves are hooters style, batter fried which I loved but they put way too much sauce on. Flavor was pretty good, but I'd honestly order these plain next time and dip. Blue cheese was really good, chunky and taste homemade. Why advertise a happy hour if it's just based on whether the BOSS feels like allowing it that day? The last two times I came specifically for happy hour, the waitress told me the boss said no happy hour. That's not how that works. It feels misleading and honestly like a bait-and-switch. Came here to watch the Pacquiao fight with some friends. What I love is its location: just a short walk from the amazing Culver Studios (think the original "King Kong", "Citizen Kane", "The Andry Griffith Show", "Batman" (the 1960s TV show), "ET", "The Matrix", and on and on). The pub itself is HUGE and, this particular night, CROWDED. We were lucky to get squeezed into a table in the center area where our group eventually showed up. Service here is fast, considering all the customers. The beers are ice-cold, and the food is pretty good. There are lots of big-screen TVs adorning the walls around the pub with no shortage of various sports events going on. We were lucky that the TV closest to us showed the main event. :-) Sure wouldn't mind coming back here on a calmer day, but I don't know if I'll even find a calmer day to come here. read more

The drinks are good, and the vibe is good. The staff is very nice but seems to change a lot over time. I did see a rodent in the establishment one time - and no one noticed since a very distracting hockey game was on. This can happen anywhere and I've gone back since though I haven't had food again; the front is fully open, so it's hard to see how this type of thing could never happen. It's so fun to have Jameson's in Culver City now, a great addition to the downtown area! The move here is coming for Happy Hour, when it's 2-for-1 drinks. It's from 3-7pm every day and 10:30pm-12:30am Sunday-Thursday. Other than that, the best bang for your buck is getting one of the little pitchers of cocktails, I think they're called Jame-o Jugs. For food, I would just recommend eating somewhere else unless you only want fries. My friend had "the worst Brussels sprouts [he's] ever had" here and I'm gonna be honest, that's on him for ordering veggies at an Irish pub. Don't make the same mistake. They have trivia on Tuesdays, karaoke on Wednesdays, and play all the games you could ever want to watch. It is a fun time and the bartenders and wait staff here are on it! read more

First time visiting this location. Service was great. We had a friendly server who was quick to take our order and check up on us from time to time to see how we were doing. The space is light and airy. TVs going with various sporting events. Definitely a good place to catch a game. Food was 50/50. We got Chips and Guac to start. Chips were a bit hard and Salsa a bit bland. I also ordered their Vegan Cheeseburger with Vegan Bacon which was done just the way I asked for...well done so it came out nice and crispy. They actually have quite a few vegan options which was nice to see. I'd definitely go back. I've been going to Jameson's since they opened in 2023 and have lived in Culver City for over 12 years. They've always had a great happy hour and a fun vibe for watching games. Last week, I brought friends from out of town. After a 20-minute wait, we were told happy hour was suddenly canceled because "the owner called." The place was packed--clearly a money grab. We stayed and ordered 9 double tequila sodas (6 well, 3 Casamigos). The bill came out to $260 before tip, with 15 random drinks listed--some even marked happy hour. The server said, "I know it looks bad but it's right," and the manager brushed us off with, "What do you want? It's L.A." I felt completely taken advantage of--and I still don't believe the charges were accurate. Hope they make it right. read more

First off they have their 2-4-1 happy hour until 7 and then again late night. Second, All You Can Eat Prime Rib. My friends and I plan group outings to come here for this every few months. You can't beat it for the price. The sides are amazing too. Third, Live Band Karaoke. Personally I am not a huge karaoke fan, but my friends are, and they're good.
