Antoni Limon, owner of Austin Paint and Body Repair, is completely dishonest. He gives you one price, then keeps raising it after the work starts, and in the end demands way more than agreed. When I refused, he threatened to keep my car, charge $50 per day for storage, and file an "intent to lien" to legally steal my vehicle. He only takes cash and makes it clear you either pay or you don't get your car back. I had to call the police, and even they said they come to this shop regularly for the same issues, including missing parts. I later checked Yelp and found multiple people reporting the exact same scam. I ended up paying just to get my car back, and it wasn't even fully painted. This place operates on intimidation, not professionalism. One of the worst experiences I've ever had. Do NOT bring your car here. read more

This company has had my car over 3 months and has been paid but, still not fixed. Every time we call he never answer until he feels like it and then he lie about completion of repairs. He was on Facebook and quoted one price but, ended up with more. This company is a fraud and I wish I would have read these reviews first. Everyone on here has same story. Junior Limon is a complete FRAUD, LIAR, A JOKE!! He had my Jeep for over 18 months. It was very difficult to get ahold of him, he wouldn't answer the phone, he blocked me. When I finally get ahold of this guy he tells me that I abandoned MY Jeep! He kept the money I had already paid him, I went looking for him at his old location that he had to leave because he's ripped off so many people who show up looking for they're vehicles. When I finally found his new place he uses to scam people, I found my Jeep and he stole so many parts off of it including the hood, radiator, battery, etc. Of course he denied it all but what goes around will definitely come around. Avoid this body shop at all cost, work is terrible. Jr the owner will duck and dodge your calls like your playing dodgeball. He worked on my 2018 Mercedes Benz and the work is atrocious. Couldn't see how bad it was because of all the dust and sand that accumulated on the car because of his dirt lot. panels are not aligned properly. Can still see pin hole marks he welded onto the hood and fender as he did not replace with new fender and hood. They used masking tape to hold the foam reinforcement in front of the bumper. Never again will be using him as a body shop. I buy and sell cars for a living and this is the worse quality ever please avoid at all cost. read more

He charged my card $700, I only authorized him to charge me $350 (half) until the job was done. 1 month I waited nothing happened, complete wasted of time, had to report my the transaction as fraudulent. I let JR have my car towed into his shop on August 13, and today was just told on today that they could not finish the repair before Christmas. The job was quoted to take about a week or so, but no work has been performed. JR assumed that I did not have the money, although I kept *constant* communication with him ever since my car had been in his possession. After months of texting him to try and stay on top of communication, he never responded to any of my messages, except when I either mentioned money, or threatened to move the car because I felt uneasy about him even having it in his possession. Today is December 23 - 2 days before Christmas- and I will NOT have my car back in time to see my family for the holiday. The total quoted was $5600 to replace a windshield and some minor bumps (which I honestly feel like is overcharging, but I still was willing to pay). I have $4300 in cash, and the rest was going to be with the EasyPay that my friend applied for and got approved for. However, according to JR - my friend cannot apply for EasyPay on my behalf, it has to be done by the owner of the car. This is something that he had multiple months to tell us, but instead waited until the very last minute to divulge. Our last conversation ended with JR becoming upset and telling me to "have the car towed to another shop", and I said "OK". When the tow truck came to tow my car to a new shop, JR had the car loaded without using a dolly (knowing full well that it could do more damage to the car, which I'm sure he intended). Even the tow truck driver stated that JR should've loaded the car differently. He just wants to cause issues all around. I would stay FAR away from this shop. read more

horrible service. paint job a 5 out of 10. picked up the car and it wasn't even cleaned. so much overspray in the inside of my car I had to stop on the way home cause the smell was strong. They painted rubber and window sealant, broke a side marker and a vent. missed spots on the door and mirrors with clear coat. taped emblems back on crooked and half ass. opened hood and whole engine bay covered in over spray. job was rushed and they had plenty of time to work on it because I never gave them a date I needed it complete by. Car came back dirtier then it went in. Customer service was good until I sent text and videos of the poor work. Told them I would send when I had a chance to look it over after the rain stopped and was cool with it but then got mad when I did. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE read more

SCAMMER ALERTSCAMMER ALERTTHEY ARE TRUE SCAMMERS AND THEY GET YOU BUY THE PRICE BEING SO LOW AND THEY WANT CASH ALSO THEY WOULDN'T EXCEPT MY CREDIT CARD On July 8th, my friend found Antoni Limon Jr shop The Austin Body Shop being advertised on facebook . We got a quote for $2300 to replace the trunk lid, lower bumper which he said included the backup camera, driver rear outer tail light, repair driver side rear quarter panel and paint everything to match my car color. They came out and towed my car to their shop and kept it for 5 days without reaching out and communicating with me. I had to reach out to them to get updates. On July 13th he told me my car was ready and bring cash because he didn't accept credit cards which i ended up having to spend more money to catch and uber to get cash from my bank then an uber to his shop. I picked up my car I noticed the camera was flipped upside down, the green, yellow and red lines that help you backup and or park were not there and the camera was giving fish eye view also the backup camera would not stay on when in reverse. I complained about all this to Antoni Limon Jr , who told me I could come back when I could because we had an event to attend that day. My friend constantly reached out to Antoni Limon Jr. , who kept ignoring him. We finally got in touch, and my friend took my car back on July 19th, where he set outside for about 2 1/2 hours outside in the heat. Later that day he picked me up and I got into the driver seat put my car in reverse to backup and realized they still didn't fix it correctly my camera was no longer upside down it's not reversed, the green, yellow and red lines are still not showing, the camera is still only working sometimes in reverse then my backup camera stopped working completely. My friend expressed his concern via text. Antoni Limon Jr ignored my friends calls and text again so I called and he answered right away and told me I would have to drop it off for a day. On July 31st, my daughter dropped my car off and as days passed with no communication about updates on my car I reached out which most of my calls and text were ignored he only responded to text when he felt like it. I decided to call him off of another number and he answered right away I even asked him why he was ignoring me on my phone and why did I have to call him off another phone he got really unprofessional and upset. I was really had an uneasy feeling about him when that call ended. He continued to ignore me and answer when he felt like it. On Aug 10th I had to of course reach out to him and he finally said it was ready. When I got to my car my driver side floor had dry mud all on it, all my windows was down with my car keys in the cup holder. I got in put my car in reverse it looked ok i finally seen lines and the camera wasn't reversed so I put my car in drive and immediately went to the gas station to put gas in my car. Once at the gas station I put my car in reverse to backup and noticed the green, yellow and red lines never move they stay straight at all times instead of curving and turning with the wheel which made me very disappointed. I'm now parked at the pump and I picked up my keys up out the cup holder and as I processed to walk to the gas station doors my key fob just fall apart as I'm walking which confused me. I then examined my fob key and realized it's been damaged. My fob key is black in front and back but has a silver trim around the sides. As I examine my key the silver trim is very jagged and a section of the silver trim is now missing and showing the white layer under the silver trim. I complained to him about my issues immediately and he basically disagreed and said everything was fixed right then tried to blame my daughter for the damage of the key saying he saw her putting the key back together when he was coming to grab the key but the truth is my fob was never broke at all.
