    Got my wheels, tires and headlights replaced and installed here. Very quick and prompt service. The guys here (David, Peter) are very knowledgeable and experienced. They answered all my questions with detail and gave recommendations. Definitely a repeat customer here.

    This place shattered our ideas of a car dealership, car place, auto ... it has the most relax laid back chill vibe ever. NOT at all impersonal, smarmy, business, NOT transactional. It has all the good feels, good-will energy, oozes sincerity. Sheldon, one of the owners, is down to earth, approachable, warm and super friendly., genuinely wants his customers to leave their place happy. All it took for us to get a test drive was: a quick snap of my husband's driver's license, hands over the car keys and says, "Feel free to take it anywhere, freeways included, for as long as you need to get a sense of the car .... " These folks are true car enthusiasts. I. Mean. The most beautiful car we found ourselves bowled over by was a vintage 325i BMW in a gorgeous champagne, the growling German engine and the likes of which they just don't make them like that anymore, the quality and the lines of the body. Turns out it's Sheldon's personal ride. No, we didn't buy a lambo or McLaren or Ferrari or any of the high priced supercars, beyond our means, our needs a lot simpler, e.g. a daily commuter car, and if it's a bit old and beaten, the better, lol :-) --but the service we got was as if we'd spent millions there. Their office is a toy store, e.g. someone's wet dream and definitely my husband's idea of heaven as a kid--there are hundreds of "dinky cars," as my husband calls them, little toy cars, many of them pristine and brand new, still in their original boxes. These guys are super generous with their time and lavish personalized attention with a personalized touch, these days not often do we see this.

Here's what actually happened: My car came back from a trip dead -- electrical issue, with half the smart features (lane keep assist, etc.) knocked out. I brought it in for diagnostics. Simple enough request. Four weeks passed with back-and-forth before the diagnostic was even completed. At some point I was told warranty wouldn't cover it -- I said fine, I'd pay out of pocket. Except no one acted on that. Two more weeks went by and I later found out nothing had been done because they assumed I wouldn't pay. I had already said yes. Then came an estimate of $15-19K. I declined and asked for my car back. It took two separate trips to retrieve it. Both times I was told to wait. On the final visit, if I hadn't pushed hard, I would've been asked to come back again the next day. The worst part wasn't the delay -- it was the communication. Every update gave the impression that work was actively progressing. Only in hindsight did I realize nothing was happening at all. It's a masterclass in how to make a customer feel managed while being completely ignored. Five weeks. Zero repairs. Two trips to get my own car back.

I purchased a warranty/service contract with my vehicle and requested the cancellation within the allowed cancellation period. I signed all the required paperwork at the dealership and was told the refund would take about 3 weeks. It has now been several months, multiple phone calls, follow-ups, and visits to the dealership, and I still have not received my refund or any clear update. Most of the time, I'm told someone will contact me back, but I never receive any follow-up. The only person who has genuinely tried to help throughout this process has been Guilherme, the salesperson who originally assisted me. Even though this issue is outside of his department, he has been professional, attentive, and willing to help every time I reached out. Unfortunately, the overall experience with the warranty/refund process has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.

We sat with Alex to discuss the price and the warranty (3-months, which isn't much, but it's 3-months longer than any other warranty we were offered). We came to an agreement. I gave Alex the keys to my beloved minivan (which is now for sale, by the way), a lump sum on my credit card, and drove away in a sporty sedan. It wasn't just that we found the right car at the right price today. We found the right salesperson. Alex is supporting the local community as well as his own family. He negotiates directly and clearly. He speaks respectfully to middle-aged women and teenage kids. No gimmicks. No pressure. No confusing equations. Tell him what you need, and he'll tell you what he needs. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, no pressure. I enjoyed doing business with him.

Anyway, after cross referencing reviews for multiple shops, I decided on JP Auto Body, and I'm so glad I did! I worked with John, and he was amazing. He's friendly, proactively provided updates so I wasn't left wondering about the progress of repair, and took care of navigating insurance, from working with the adjuster to getting the estimate approved. I barely had to get involved. While I was waiting at the shop while they were doing a final test drive before handing over my car, I also had a chance to chat with the owner, Johnny, and a couple of the other employees there, and everyone's so nice! My car looks like new again, and I'm very happy with the work they did. Highly recommend.
