Just to add a bit to my review, I have to say that Sam went above and beyond what I expected in…read moreservice. There was a small issue we wanted fixed before we closed the deal. Sam asked if we could wait until after the Christmas holidays and that was fine. Then, there was a mix up with contacts and the emails and texts I sent weren't returned. I grew increasingly frustrated. Finally, I called a different number, talked to Sam in person, and he not only apologized profusely for the communication problem, but also did more than we expected to resolved the original issue. A swing and a miss, but then a home run. Sam also was kind enough to have the car sent down to the Elgin office to close the deal, so we wouldn't have to go back up to Waukegan for it. Good folk to deal with. I counted up the cars I've purchased in my long life. It's 27 for me and my family. This was one of the most seamless and satisfying experiences. That there were a couple of glitches wasn't as important as that they were remedied immediately.

Spent at the very top of my budget to purchase a very clean vehicle. Requested an honest review of…read morewhat I might need to invest in the car to make sure it lasts me for several years. The salesperson generally seemed confused and untrained, and lied claiming that it was in good running condition. The car catastrophically overheated and broke down. Upon getting it towed to my mechanic, over $2000 of repairs are needed to just make it safe to drive. The manager was dismissive and asked me "what do you want me to do?" and offered me no respectable viable compensation for the headache. The $200 check he offered isn't going to make a dent in the $1100 I've already spent on tires and battery and the $2000 more I will be spending to repair a portion of it. Buyer beware.

I then called again and spoke to Philip who told me he had to contact Steve. I did not even get the courtesy of a reply. I even had contacted them using their email so if they did not have time to make a phone call, they could have emailed me. The truth is I believe I did not qualify but their professionalism does not exist. I was told they are in business 20 years.

Not the best place to lease a car, I don't recommend this place. I had a car for about 9 months and…read morewithin that time I was forced to get over 900.00 worth of repair work done on the car that he said was inspected before I got the car. Which means that the problems occurred when I was leasing the car. There was no way that I put that much wear and tear on that vehicle. You get 1250 miles a month and you have to drive there bi-weekly to pay the note. I was not able to pay over the phone or online. No other convenient way, all payments are made in person. Once it's said that you went over your miles you never caught up to the miles. I don't like that he dictates which insurance company you can use and the what deductible you have to carry. Over time and with his demands and requirements, his used vehicles are costing the same as a brand-new vehicle. It's not worth the headache. If you have to use this company you should have a short lived exit plan because you really are paying too much for the use of there vehicles.

He was a nice guy - and we got to test driving almost right away. Additionally, the price was very fair (the lowest end of KBB), and they negotiated some perks (remote start, which I had on my other vehicle). I did a trade-in, and I expected a low-ball on that, unfortunately. The only aggravating part was the "salesman" show that they put on during negotiations. Dave went back and forth with his "boss," and even once coached me to loudly say, "And I want the remote start!" when he picked up the phone. C'mon guys!!! *eyeroll* I might be a female, but I'm not completely dense. Cut the theatrics and be straight. The remote start, to their dismay, apparently cost them more than they had wanted to spend. I'm not sure how they didn't figure in that they'd need a bypass on a manual trans?? I was aggravated that I dropped the vehicle off for them to do the remote start and they were also supposed to reset the oil change indicator, as well as fix a loose dome light housing. Neither was done when I picked up the vehicle, so they hurriedly fixed the latter. Luckily there was ONE mechanic left at that time! Overall, it was a fine experience, and we both got what we wanted out of the deal.

After the tech inspected the vehicle they said they wouldn't accept it and sent me down the road. I encountered a rude reception that didn't understand basic communications and started arguing with me on why I need to keep my plate. Maybe try and inform your employees what is correct and not be confrontational. I asked for basic help and they refused. Try St. Charles...they were like night and day and welcomed me in immediately and had everything done in less than 30 minutes.
