I got quite a few so was surprised everything wasn't too pricey. I got almond, pistachio, chocolate, plain croissants as well as ham & cheese. Definitely heading back another time. Now that I think of it, even the iced coffee was shitty, and that's hard to mess up. I think they need to calibrate their espresso machine or simply learn how to make espresso- one of the two. From the deli counter, I usually pick up fresh soppressata, provolone, mozzarella, ricotta, 'nduja, and other meats and cheeses to enjoy at home. They also stock fresh Italian bread every morning from Rose & Joe's Bakery in Astoria. Cipollina's espresso bar is excellent, too. I love their affogatos, and on weekends I can't resist the mini pistachio sfogliatelle.There's a small café-style seating area separate from the store to sit and enjoy your coffee and pastry.
