And don't sleep on Blue Collar Coffee or the rooftop bar, if even for just the view of the foothills. You can't beat the location either - it's walkable to everything but just outside the true heart of downtown where it gets busier. Amazing service by a staff that are truly ambassadors for the brand and create an incredible atmosphere. The hotel is very clean and very inviting from the lobby to the rooms. Our room layout was wonderful and the room was loaded with amenities. It was quiet and easy to navigate. Location is central to downtown so it's really easy to walk to the nightlife after dinner. Rooftop was amazing and what a view. We also made reservations at the Supper Club and it too was incredible. Service was impeccable while not being overbearing. The food was amazing and very fairly priced. Cannot wait to go back and eat more off the menu. Overall, I cannot believe there is a better hotel to stay at in Boise. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a "staycation" at the Renegade.

My room was cleaned both days with no fuss or 6 year old pandemic protocol being cited to not clean the room. And they even have free snacks and sodas downstairs for guests. The on-site restaurant Hemlock was spectacular and a must if you are staying here. We went for dinner, but I would love to try the room service as well. One note is that we noticed our bill was not accurate after check out. We called and they said they would provide a refund that we are still waiting to see. Just make sure to double check your bill before you leave! Overall, great location, nice amenities, beautiful art and a nice place to stay. There was an issue with the "gift card" that came with the package we got and had an interesting interaction with a valet that was confusing and not helpful but the hotel is worth checking out!

The room was LOUD. The "amazing" water filter (did you know they have filtered water? Here, have some. Want some more? It's filtered!) clanked all night long and loud sounds came from the bedroom wall all night. All. Damn. Night. There is no way they were unaware of this and nobody should be given a room that offers absolutely no chance of sleep. Customer service ignores you if you prefer to communicate via email. But they have filtered water! There are many better and less expensive options. They might not have a Water Man (it's filtered!) but at least you'll get some sleep.

We got a double queen room on the ground floor, facing the pool and it was great! My kids were able to walk right out into the courtyard and play giant chess and giant checkers. We also spent as much time as possible at the indoor pool. My kids LOVED the whirlpool and splash pad features. There was hardly anyone else there so it felt like we had the whole pool to ourselves. The staff was so great with my kids. We got warm chocolate chip cookies at check in, and the servers at breakfast were great about getting us situated with drinks, and our made to order omelets were delicious! I have never experienced a hotel breakfast buffet that was as extensive as The Riverside's! 10+ stars for their breakfast buffet alone. At one point during our stay, we were walking back to our room and noticed some broken glass at the bottom of a staircase. I called the front desk and immediately they had someone out there cleaning up the glass. I would highly recommend The Riverside to anyone looking for a staycation hotel, or if you have guests coming in from out of town. We will definitely be back!
