    Is there a dress code?

I'm assuming that like most places, there's a "no shoes, no shirt, no service." Other than that, I don't know of anywhere in Boise that has a dress code to eat out. It's come as you are!

The room was way more swanky than anything we ever stay in, but even my husband commented on how nice it was, and he isn't usually impressed with hotels. You could sleep in the shower with how much space there was. The ambiance definitely matched all the things I had heard about it - very industrial meets modern in a thoughtful way. And don't sleep on Blue Collar Coffee or the rooftop bar, if even for just the view of the foothills. You can't beat the location either - it's walkable to everything but just outside the true heart of downtown where it gets busier. Recommend for a staycation night (what we did) or a splurge-y stay with friends!

Amazing service by a staff that are truly ambassadors for the brand and create an incredible atmosphere. The hotel is very clean and very inviting from the lobby to the rooms. Our room layout was wonderful and the room was loaded with amenities. It was quiet and easy to navigate. Location is central to downtown so it's really easy to walk to the nightlife after dinner. Rooftop was amazing and what a view. We also made reservations at the Supper Club and it too was incredible. Service was impeccable while not being overbearing. The food was amazing and very fairly priced. Cannot wait to go back and eat more off the menu. Overall, I cannot believe there is a better hotel to stay at in Boise. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a "staycation" at the Renegade.

To top it off, the lady working the front desk late Thursday night was super super nice. Great first impression of Boise based on that alone!

Rooms are basic, but clean and mostly well stocked. No conditioner in our shower. I retrieved a little bottle from my suitcase, but again, at $300 a night, housekeeping should be on top of that. My least favorite thing, breakfast. Blaah! I've generally stayed at Hilton garden inns where you get a real breakfast served to you. Sorry, but this breakfast was not great, in fact, just not good. I'm sure convenience is its appeal to business travelers, but if quality or taste are your things, just skip it. We walked down about 8:45 (it runs from 6-10) and the place looked like a hurricane had hit it. Self serve breakfast bars have their place but dedicate a staff member to keeping things stocked up, counters cleaned and overflowing trash receptacles emptied. $300 a night, just sayin!!! I'll again say that if you are attending an event downtown this is a very convenient place to stay. That's its appeal to us. And that is why it gets three stars instead of two on my overall value score

We also spent as much time as possible at the indoor pool. My kids LOVED the whirlpool and splash pad features. There was hardly anyone else there so it felt like we had the whole pool to ourselves. The staff was so great with my kids. We got warm chocolate chip cookies at check in, and the servers at breakfast were great about getting us situated with drinks, and our made to order omelets were delicious! I have never experienced a hotel breakfast buffet that was as extensive as The Riverside's! 10+ stars for their breakfast buffet alone. At one point during our stay, we were walking back to our room and noticed some broken glass at the bottom of a staircase. I called the front desk and immediately they had someone out there cleaning up the glass. I would highly recommend The Riverside to anyone looking for a staycation hotel, or if you have guests coming in from out of town. We will definitely be back!
