Ordered a single Gyro light on the sauce. The sandwich was fine but at $14 & change plus a dollar tip it's expensive. No drink or side. It was a large gyro and loaded with lots of fresh tomatoes & lettuce, but still $15! That said the atmosphere has changed as the manager decided to pipe in some of the worst amateur rock music I've ever heard. Flew into Blairsville Airport and was recommended to go to this cafe by the gentleman who worked there. He mentioned most who fly in would drive into town for food. From the outside, this place looks small and unimpressive... until you go inside... once you step in, you'll find the place a lot bigger than it appears with airplane models hanging from the ceiling. It's a dream come true for all kids who have dreams of flying a plane (like my friend). Food here is phenomenal. My friend got the first item on the menu -- their Reuben Sandwich with au jou dip and a side of fries. I opted for one of their hot presses with roast beef and chipotle aioli, and a cup of lobster bisque. Was a little disappointed in the lobster bisque but everything else made up for it. The bisque was on the bland side and was too pasty for me, but it has a lot of crab pieces. Both my friend and I enjoyed our lunches and am so happy we got to fly into this cute little town for lunch. read more

My last review was mediocre for the old location a couple of years ago. I have been here several times since. The food is consistently great! It can be busy. The wait times are minimal. Love love love their cold grinders, it's mainly the only thing I get there, but they're always so good! I had the sunrise wrap one time, and it was very good, but once I tried the cold grinders I was in love and nothing else compared for me. Definitely a great place to get a sandwich! read more

I used to love this place. But they've cut their signature sandwich, a French dip, in half and kept the same pricing. It went from being a nice big hoagie roll with a ton of meat to now maybe a 1/4 lb of meat on a dinner roll. Does this look like a $13 sandwich to you? No sides included for that price either. You go up to a counter to order food, find a table to sit at on your own, wait until your order is called, go back to get the food and still have to tip. My favorite place expanded and moved to new digs. What a disaster. Since the move, I've tried it three times thinking it will get better and back on track. Wrong! Service is horrid. The quality of the food has gone straight downhill. Yep, the new place is "cute" but the food sucks. There are too many young people who are untrained and haven't a clue what they are doing. Well, I had been here before (old location), and thought it was good enough to track down at their new location. Today, I was very disappointed. I had the El Cubano with home fries and both were below average. Just bland. Wife had a simple burger, and it wasn't bad, just wasn't anything special.
