Banana nut pancakes were a marriage of banana bread, pudding and pecans. Delicious!!

We've eaten here for breakfast several times, and would come more often if I could get up in time for breakfast on the weekends, but that's on me. The portions are huge (but manageable ). The wait staff is friendly and attentive. I hope to try lunch/dinner soon.

"No breakfast which is not eaten in nature can enter the class of perfect breakfast!" Mehmet Murat ildan While Hole In The Wall is not exactly out in nature, its outdoor seating with the Georgia mountains as a backdrop do make for a perfect breakfast. The restaurant is decorated in a southern country kitsch, more quirky then rustic, with a fun casual feel. The menu is traditional southern breakfast fare, and prices are very reasonable. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely be back when in the area!

Stopped by for breakfast after a rough nights sleep camping and this was just what we needed! Food was delicious and service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend!

Hole-y cow! Yep! Jump in and enjoy. With a name like that you can bet it gets real busy. A tight fit and a might crowded. But everybody was super friendly. Even the smiling, seated and eating customers. Two of them even broke from their breakfast bites to thank me for visiting! That is hometown hospitality. I'm in town visiting some friends and they knew exactly where to take this foodie. Table for 4, please! Great food. Ours was served up by the very lovable Miss Abigail. She did a fine job of making us feel welcome and shooing away the hungreeeees. Don't you just love 'platter peeking'? That's when a server strolls by with a platter full of piled-high plates! You strain your neck trying to see what others have ordered. I'll say everything we saw looked deeee-licious. If you love great food, then you gotta get to this little Hole In The Wall!

Went for breakfast. Food and service was good. Coffee was a little on the weak side. Enjoyed the historic building and all the pictures on the wall.

    Chicken & biscuit.

We had a marvelous breakfast. I got a chicken & biscuit and my husband got 2 eggs with sausage and potatoes!! Everything was cooked perfectly and very tasty. We got to eat outdoors as the weather was nice and our server was so polite and friendly. Highly recommended if you're ever in Blairsville.

Best breakfast in Blairsville! Food, atmosphere, servers, and staff are all awesome! You won't be disappointed! Yum! You've got to try their pumpkin pancakes, pictured below! Just saying...

My fiancé and I were in Helen, Georgia for Oktoberfest but while we were there decided to take a scenic drive through the mountains. About an hour later we stopped for breakfast at Hole in the Wall in the quaint town of Blairsville. Service was excellent as well as the food. I had the Mountain Scramble and my fiancé had banana nut pancakes. Both absolutely delicious.

    Cool Place!

Hole in The Wall is a MUST when you visit Blairsville. My favorite meal there would be breakfast. It's right in the town square, where the old courthouse sits right in the middle. I love these old towns that keep their town square. There are several shops for you to enjoy. You can buy local foods and souvenirs, as well. So, make Hole in The Wall your first stop for breakfast, or your rest and refill spot for lunch.

2 greek omelettes, one with hash-brown and biscuit, the other with home fries, toast and a side of pancake.

Good prices, fresh and tasty food, friendly staff, fast service. We got the Greek omelette, one with hash browns and one with home potatoes and a side of pancake. Pictures taken after we had already started eating, so the omelette is bigger.

The moonshiner. Pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs.

This place was pretty busy on Sunday morning but was only a 15 minute wait. This is definitely a southern charm restaurant and our server was very polite.

This is the street view of the restaurant.

I wanted to try their pancakes but didn't want a full stack, and our server Robin was wonderful in recommending the Sweet Start. One thing we really appreciated is that all breakfast entrees include coffee or tea, and the prices are already very reasonable. We were also pleasantly surprised to learn that even though we ordered specialty coffees, we could still enjoy complimentary refills of regular coffee. The restaurant has a charming and unique atmosphere, with every table looking a little different from the next. For my meal, I ordered the Sweet Start, which included one pancake, eggs, and bacon. I also appreciated the transparency from the staff. When I asked for an extra serving of their homemade pecan butter, I was informed upfront that there would be an additional charge....a level of honesty that's surprisingly rare these days. My husband ordered the Banana Nut French Toast comes with homemade whipped cream and homemade pecan butter, which also came with bacon. He added a side of eggs as well. Everything was delicious. I'm especially particular about pancakes, and I can honestly say they serve some of the best pancakes I've had. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and what stood out most was how genuinely happy all the staff seemed to be. It created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made our visit even more enjoyable. We would definitely return the next time we're in the area.

I think you turned me into someone that will eat them again. The brisket hash was so good and the Certified Angus Beef was absolutely flavorful. Very nice atmosphere, very well maintained and recently vacated tables attended to quickly. The staff was super friendly and definitely a must go to place when in the area.

My past reviews include, Joes from Kansas City, The Shed from Mississippi, Big Bob Gibson's in Alabama along with another place that won awards, Blacks in Texas where BBQ began, other Texas places that said they were the best, 4 Rivers Smokehouse from the original location that was ranked 4th in the nation in Florida, bbq in Chattanooga and tons of other places which were ranked nationally and locally. Please read my other reviews. So we came here after helping someone that was stuck at long creek hike. So I found this place and asked my wife to go here. To my surprise, Jim's Smokin Que has won numerous awards. So we pulled up and the place was already humming. Cool shows the place is good in the middle of nowhere. We walked in and met Jolie. Very nice girl. Bubbly personality. She talked us into the chicken sausage which is her favorite. We also got 3 other meats of ribs, pulled pork and brisket. Jolie said the ribs are award winning and the pork and brisket are people's favorites. She also said the macaroni salad is also award winning and is different from a classic macaroni salad. Beans were very good as well as the collard greens. She then offered to give us samples of whatever we want. She gave us a sample of the collard greens which won my wife over. We then ordered the 4 meats with 2 sides. We got the ribs, brisket, pork and chicken sausage and got beans, collard greens and macaroni salad which we paid extra for. We then got our food. So here is where once you say you're award winning or something is the best where the feet hit the pavement. If this was a normal place and didn't have numerous articles about award winning I would give this place an overall 5 star but a 4.5 overall. However, due to it needing to be judged by their awards I have to be fair. The ribs were very good. Thick, 3 ribs, tasty and sweet. The pork was good, tasty but ran a little dry. The brisket was good however, again a little dry. The chicken sausage was good. Reminded me of like a Chicago sausage with the peppers and onions. The pork and brisket weren't dry where I needed water to drink after but wasn't moist as it should have been. The beans were really good. Sweet with pork and delicious. The collard greens were good. My wife loved them. The macaroni was my wife's favorite thing. The bbq sauces are homemade and thick. Very good. We then got to go another order of macaroni and the peanut butter chocolate pie. The chocolate pie was good. Very sweet. Not really a pie. More of a pudding. Overall, for it being an award winner, I think the pork and brisket lost points. Still very good overall. 4.25 I'd give it.

When we walked in, we waited to be seated, we were standing close to the cash register and kitchen area. As we waited we listed to one of the staff complaining that wasn't a great sign. As we were being seated, we noticed all the cute decor! Someone took a lot of time to make the place look so cute! The waitress was super attentive! Hubby ordered the special, a Meatball sandwich and I ordered a salad with fried chicken tenders... I had to cheat a little bit. That Fried Chicken was calling my name! The food came out after a little bit of a wait. I completely understand because the chicken was fresh. But my poor hubby got a mess of a sandwich. It appears they made the sandwich and it sat while the chicken cooked. It was a soppy soggy mess. The bread was drenched and completely mush. He said the French Fries weren't much better. I asked him if he could eat just the meatballs and he picked up them each up with a fork and each and everyone of them were completely black on one side. Totally burned. Boy I felt bad because my chicken was delicious! This is the reason I added two stars. We went to pay, my husband leaving his hot mess in his plate. The owner was at the cash register, I found this out because she answered the phone while checking us out (stating her name was Julie). She was in such a mood, she was rude to the person on the phone placing an orderIn fact she was even rude to us, she scared the bjesus out of me....so we didn't say a word. I sure didn't want to complain and start an altercation . Hubby will never go back. He was not happy at all. I might go back, maybe with a friend and hope next time is better ‍ Possibly everyone was having a bad day? It was not crowded when we dined, as it was around 2:30pm. We thought this would be an asset, but we were wrong. Here is hoping it was an off day for them. Dine at your own risk my friends. Stay away from soggy sandwiches! Go for the fried chicken
