The service was great even on a busy day. We didn't feel rushed as it was around 1:30 when we arrived. Service was awesome! Ambiance is wonderful. The food is not good. Onion Rings were swimming in grease. I couldn't eat them. The first order of fries were cold, soaked in old oil and u had to send them back. The second order was better but not by much. The cheeseburger was ok. Not great. My wife's liver was ok but she said fake mashed potatoes tasted like paste. The biscuit was the best part of the meal. I would not return. read more

A perfect breakfast, lunch spot, it is as the name of the place implies, great breakfast selection, I had eggs over light , real home fries, and not that awful cold shredded potatoes that many places serve, whole wheat toast, with a variety of jams , jelly was available... and coffee, however the coffee was not too good.. bright sunny inside, well worn interior of this small cafe , but worth the wait.. it's a popular spot in town, our waitress was prompt, kind , and attentive, not missing or overbearing, I recommend eating here .. read more

Just like the name. A quaint little restaurant in a corner lot in a beautiful town square. Breakfast was good but my regret is not ordering the fruit filled French toast. The only drawback we had was my 12 year old accidentally spilled his drink and they brought him a styrofoam cup with a lid and a straw to replace it. Accidents happen but this legitimately made him feel bad. I guess he's the only one who's ever spilled a drink there. read more

Not sure how I havent reviewed Hole i. The Wall before this. Ive been here a dozen times with my wife, several times with out of town guests, and even a few solo dining experiences. Never dissapointed. Brilliant service by folks who actually care. , Fresh cooked food of good quality. Breakfast rocks. Lunch is good, too. I think this place was particularly busy the day we went because another breakfast place in town was closed, so there was a bit of a wait on a week day. If you have mobility issues, see if they can seat you downstairs. They put us upstairs which was a challenge with my cane, particularly coming down as they are pretty steep. This is a southern breakfast place, so I got biscuits and gravy as well as hash browns, and my boyfriend got country fried steak. I will admit, not the best gravy I ever had (needed more sausage and got cold rather quickly) but the biscuits and hash browns were good. He enjoyed his meal. Our waitress was new but double checked with us on a few things to make sure they were right and everything was fine. This is a quaint diner in the town center of Blairesville. There's a sign in the door to wait outside for a hostess to seat you and for good reason. There's no where to wait inside and there are tables almost as soon as you step in. We sat n the center close to the door and it was pretty cold in the winter with people coming in and out. Our server was great, so forget her name but all of the waitresses seemed nice and attentive. My hubby and I came for breakfast. Had eggs over medium with bacon, hash browns, and a biscuit. Hubby had scrambled eggs with a side of pancakes. Overall, my breakfast was decent. The egg was cooked more like over easy and the biscuit was ok, kind of dry. I loved that the hash browns were crispy. Overall, not a bad choice for breakfast, it's great to support local over waffle house or similar. The only negative was the smell when we came in, it smelled like old carpet. The place could probably use a good dusting and carpet clean. read more

Really enjoyed this restaurant. It is like the name described, "Hole in the Wall". It is cozy and comfortable. our waitress, Mandy, took real good care of us. The food was also very good. They had the mountain look. Their menu looked to also be mountainous. The pancakes were great and they had a few different kinds to choose from. I mentioned our waitress earlier, but everyone was friendly and helpful. They also gave a military discount, one of my standards. Not only that, but there were 2 "veteran" parking spots out front. It may be small but it's big on taste and service is always with a smile. Extensive breakfast menu that is serve the whole time they are open, portions are huge, so come hungry. They serve other menu items, but I was there for the breakfast at 1:00 in the afternoon. I would recommend this place before hitting the Mill next Door and the Whiskey/Moonshine Distillery down the hill. The burger was good, but nothing noteworthy. The onion rings were a bit greasy. Also came with a side of coleslaw and it was outstanding. The staff was efficient and friendly.
